Lucky was resting in the grass outside his tree home, like he always did on days when Tomo was away at the guild.
However, he awoke to a sound he didn't hear very often in his forest.
Slithering.
Knowing that someone must be in his forest, he climbed to his feet and took off into the canopy to race after the sound.
Stopping high up in a tree, hidden behind the leaves and branches, he looked down and saw a large black serpent pokemon with a blade-like appendage for a tail.
The seviper on the other hand, was not aware of Lucky's presence, having lost her way for quite a while and was moving about basically in circles. Soon, much noise came from the canopy.
"Hey, I'm here to help. Just hang on!" Lucky said as he made his presence as well known as possible, rattling branches and such on his way down before landing on the ground a ways in front of her. Lucky just smiled at her, but her eyes widened and she coiled her body up, hissing ferociously as her natural attack instinct kicked in at the mere sight of a Zangoose, and one who, by looks, appeared to be battle hardened.
"A ZANGOOSE!" she hiss growled at him. "Back off or I will KILL you!" she shrieked, much to Lucky's suprise.
"No no, I'm here to help!" he said. Possibly due to a small defect in his system, he had no natural anger towards Seviper.
She didn't share the same sentiment towards Zangoose.
She lunged at him, mouth open and fangs dripping a venom that was ineffective against a Zangoose, but Lucky quickly dodged to the side.
"Yikes! hey! Take it easy! I Just want to help you!" he said before she turned and lunged again, Lucky again dodging. She said nothing, only hissing and striking time and time again until Lucky was backed against a spot he knew was basically a pitfall.
"Please stop! If you attack again, you could-" she cut him off by lunging again. he could have dodged and let her fall possibly to her death, but he couldn't allow that. Rather, he caught her open mouth, top jaw in one hand, bottom in another, and tumbled backwards as both crashed through the weak and thin branches before tumbling through air and slamming into cold darkness, the Seviper smacking her head on a stone at the bottom and getting knocked out.
In her state, she began to dream. She felt as though she was on a rock, basking in the sun when another Seviper, in a friendly manner, came up to her and began caressing it's body along her's, sharing warmth and soothing her aching head. Aching head? Oh yeah... She fell and...
She cracked her eyes open to find herself in darkness, though a soft caressing persisted on the spot on her head that was terribly sore from the impact. She strained to look up and saw the light coming into the deep hole glinting off the white fur on the hand touching her. Although her body tried to make her fly into a rage, she could only grunt in pain as she just relaxed to the touch.
"Easy... Easy... you took a nasty fall and hit your head. You'll be fine if I can get you to my tree home... But we need a way out first." he said as he looked around. The hole was almost perfectly round, around ten feet across, and the walls were sheer rock. Lucky looked up, not stopping his caressing of her wound, and guessed they were at LEAST twenty feet down. if he was on his own, he figured he could jump from one wall to another and eventually make his way out, but he would not leave her alone for any period of time, not in her condition.
"It looks like we'll be here for a while... You need to get better before we both can get out..." he said softly. She cracked an eye open and grunted a few words out.
"Why don't you just leave me to die like any normal Zangoose?" she asked both honestly and with sarcastic venom.
"... because i'm NOT normal." he said before she grunted again and closed her eye to rest again. Lucky sat right next to her, continuing to caress her sore flesh to at least ease the flesh pain.
Lucky was glad that she was resting, but was not fully asleep as it provided her with rest and Lucky with the quiet he needed to think.
While he was thinking, he soon became aware of some noises above and some voices. there were more pokemon who had gotten lost in his forest.
"Hey! Hey, can you hear me!?" Lucky shouted up, which made the Seviper open her eyes, feeling a bit better but not too terribly much.
Lucky kept his eye fixated on the edge of the hole and soon, a large green pokemon blocked out much of the light.
"Yes! Down here!" Lucky shouted. Soon a voice replied.
"Cover your eyes for a moment, I'm going to use flash!" Lucky walked over to the seviper and covered her eyes before closing his own. There was a bit of a high pitched noise before another voice spoke.
"Okay, all clear." Lucky uncovered the seviper's eyes and opened his own to find the hole awash in light. Looking up to the source, he saw a bellsprout on the edge of the hole, shining light from it's mouth while a Tangrowth was up at the top. "Are you all right?"
"Yes, we are fine, but we can't get out. Can you help us out?"
"Certainly." the Tangrowth then extended one of it's stretchy arms into the hole and grabbed onto Lucky's wrist.
"Okay, hang on, let me make sure my friend is hanging on as well." Lucky said as he extended one hand to the Seviper.
Friend? Did he just call her a friend? She looked at the outstretched hand and thought for a moment, but came to the simple conclusion that this was the ONLY way she was getting out. She swallowed her Seviper instincts and wrapped her tail around his hand and squeezed onto it tightly.
"Okay, pull us up!" Lucky shouted, and with great strength, the Tangrowth hauled both of them out of the hole and onto the grass of the forest floor.
After a moment, Lucky smiled at the Tangrowth and bellsprout friends and thanked them heartily for assisting them. He then looked at the seviper and frowned slightly in a worried expression.
"You look worse then I thought... I'll get you healed, but lets help these two out of the forest first, okay?" he said as he gently lifted her up and coiled her around his warm body, resting her head on his shoulder as he escorted the two plant pokemon out of the forest and on their way before semi-cheerfully walking back to his tree home.
The Seviper was so very puzzled. She did her best to look at him and noticed that the shoulder she was resting on was, in fact, bleeding from his fall, as well as his body having a few scuffs along it. She then noticed that his left hand was streaked with blood... her blood. Evidently, she was... IS... bleeding from her wound.
Stranger still, she looked at how he didn't care that she was wrapped around his body. She could squeeze him... Hurt him... Maybe kill him... But he didn't seem to care...
"Zangoose... you are a strange one..." she said softly. Lucky replied.
"Lucky. My name is Lucky."

"Lucky?" she repeated.
"Yes. It's the gift my mother gave me." he said as they continued through strange pathways and odd routs, one path seemed to circle a single tree five times before diving headfirst into a pile of bushes. "I had another gift..." he said as he touched his scarred face in thought. "But I'm afraid I lost it. I'm rather sad about that... It was blue, just like her's." he said as they soon punched through the brushline that lead into the large grassy opening that housed his massive home tree and the river that ran through the forest.
"Here we are. You can lay on the grass in the sun, I need to get some proper herbs to patch you up." He said as he knelt down in the warm grass in the sun, though she was reluctant to move.
"I... Am not sure... I don't... really trust you... Yet..." she said, her experience with him clashing with her age old instincts telling her to attack. Lucky nodded and pet the coil around his chest.
"All right. I'm sure I'm nice and warm for you anyway, but I will just make sure you're good and healthy before I lead you out of the forest and back home." he said simply as he removed the tarp covering the doorway to his home. He went into his different piles and stores of items and grabbed several herbs and dried berries.
Afterwards, he took all the items and walked outside, placing them all in a bowl he got from a human camp and using the broken handle of a golf club, mashed all of it together.
She watched him do all this and was slowly starting to feel overly better, though her head still stung from the now obvious cut.
Soon, all the items were crushed into a fine jell that he scooped onto his claws of one hand.
"Okay, this will sting at first, but it'll heal you good. My mate tells me this heals just as good as... What are they called... The human thing... Super potion?" he said, but she shied away from the purplish jell.
Lucky gave an exasperated sigh and placed the jell on his cut shoulder, rubbing it around. The jell turned clear and soon was not visible and the cut had all but vanished.
"See? I'm NOT going to hurt you." he said as he scooped up another dose. She gave him a worried look before, once again, fighting back her instinct and letting him gently apply it to her scalp. She winced as it did stung, but after a few seconds of rubbing, it felt numb and soon, felt good.
The Jell dried without any grease or wet feeling and she let out a sigh.
"Mmm... That feels much better." she said as she started to relax a little, a sensation Lucky could feel through her whole body.
"I did say I wasn't going to hurt you." he said, smiling. She didn't smile back, but she did look at him in the face.
"I'm... Sorry. It's just that... normally... When... a Zangoose like yourself, and a Seviper like me, see eachother... Well... they fight. I don't know why... We just... do..." she said, now coming to the realization of how bare bones instinctual it was with no true reason behind it.
"Well... I'm not normal... And I don't like to fight... it just makes problems... Like earlier... It didn't have to happen but... not every day is perfect." he said before smiling. "And besides, we got out okay thanks to some help and now you're all better."
She let out a small chuckle at his seemingly indomitable bright personality.
'So, you ready to go home?" Lucky asked. She shook her head.
"Not yet... Just let me relax a while longer... if you please." she said. She wanted to think on everything that had just happened and, being close to a warm, furry body, seemed like a nice comfortable place to do it, much like a soft, warm armchair. Lucky nodded and put the medicine back in his home before taking a seat next to the tree and relaxing in the sunlight.
"Just let me know when you want to leave." he said as he lay back and gave a sigh with the serpent still wrapped about him, wrapping his arms around her coil as he relaxed and closed his eye.
She rest her head on his shoulder and began thinking.
It was true, there were no real reasons to the fighting other then just a drive to do it. In fact, just a little while ago, it proved to almost be the death of her thanks to her blind lashing out. She felt sorry for what she had done, especially considering the fact that he had helped her, despite what she did.
She gave a small sigh and felt a twinge or warmth within her as she felt Lucky's hands idly caressing her body, a sensation that reminded her of being in groups of other Sevipers... mingling for body heat... For comfort... For mating.

Again, the "repulsion" was only her normal attitude towards Zangoose due to the instinct to fight.
She thought for a while more. She was safe. She was comfortable. She was in solitude with a compatible male. She hadn't mothered a viable egg in several years.
Those facts kicked her body into gear and almost immediately, her highly hidden vaginal opening was nearly pouring juices along her inflamed lips.
