They would frequently work out in the gym together, but Shiro's natural strength always beat out Winston, no matter how hard he worked or bulked up. Worse yet, Shiro's gut never seemed to shrink no mater the work he put in as he never seemed to get tired. Regardless, the two remained friends and Shiro was one of the main people to motivate Winston into accepting his popularity. However, later into the years on the shift from highschool to college, Shiro enlisted into the military to pay for his student loans. He excelled at the training and while he thought he was into easy money, he was actually enlisted for an operation. He and three others were sent in to do a basic scouting patrol along the border of two smaller countries that were having tense relations. There was word one side would attack and actually start a war, and no one wanted that. One day involved Shiro and the group coming upon an outpost. Due to Shiro often vanishing in plain sight, he was sent in and relayed that the outpost was planning on making an assault and making it look like the other country started a conflict, giving them full \"reason\" to start the war. Naturally they radioed in but were told to wait for extraction and to keep patrolling until then. Sadly, during one moment of them out in the open, three loud distant pops were heard and his three friends fell where they stood. Shiro hit the ground and didn't move, yet no more shots were fired. He remained there for hours until nightfall before moving, taking a moment to take the dog tags from his friends and making his way to the outpost. His memory was fragmented at that point, but he remembered that he went in, hearing someone mention that \"the patrol had been taken care of.\" No gun, no knife, no sound, he went in with just his hands. He remembered finding a radio and telling whoever was on the other side that the outpost \"didn't exist anymore\" before he headed to the extraction point. After being debriefed, his COs found that in his daze, he murdered, by hand, over thirty soldiers that night. The COs actually found it to be a boon as there wasn't supposed to be an outpost there and the country couldn't bring up said fully armed outpost without admitting to trying to start a war, one of which would have them at the receiving end of several countries wrath. Shiro was sent home at that point, but something of a ruined man. He routinely wears his army fatigues casually and while he never has to work again, even at the age of 33, he wasn't able to come home... Until he found an interesting pink plant. Known as \"pink weed\" in the underground, chewing on it or smoking it allows one to leave the past behind and actually relax without any addictive effect. The fact that is smells like chocolate is a bonus, and so he's never seen without it.\n\nOccupation: Shiro is unemployed and lives by himself in something of a rundown part of town where he grows pink weed in secret, his funds made by the government's \"retirement plan\" .
