Personality/Background: It's not known who I-Am-Slaad was before her conversion, only that she was a humanoid female that didn't have much in the ways of magic. Her metamorphosis produced a peculiar result in that she has physical traits of both red and blue Slaadi. It's not known if a former member of a team had tried to help her and only partially succeeded, but the result made her a reject from both red and blue Slaadi as red reject blue and blue reject red. She lives alone, often patrolling the wilds, either in the locations of swamps, bogs, lakes, or even forests, though generally not straying far from water sources. She hunts like any Slaad, but her memory is fragmented from the conversion. As a result, she doesn't speak too well and shows an aversion to attacking humanoids. She took the name I-Am-Slaad because every time she would encounter someone, they would react with fear or violence. When she would ask them why, they would reply with "You are a Slaad!" Now, she just finds that easiest to identify herself as. "Who are you?" is now met with "I Am Slaad." She has occasionally followed various bands of fighters, her hide rather strong and her fighting ability fantastic, but they eventually part ways as no true cure seems to work as her transformation was corrupted from the start. That said, she's actually rather cheerful, though abhors clothing of any sort, utterly detesting it. Her corrupted speech also hides a more adept mind as she's rather cunning. One traveler said "She has the mind of a genus muted with the mouth of an idiot." She happened to overhear him but actually hugged him instead of taking his head off.
While the wilds of D&D are terrifying and dangerous, should you come across her, she's quite the pleasing guest. She may even lead you through some dangerous places, should you provide her with some stories, company, or some good meat.
