The teachers and counselors may as well be surrogate parents, as they spend more time with the children than actual parents, who tend to only see the children during holidays, vacations, and family events.\n \nFernview has strict academic and physical standards, at least compared to public schools. High-quality food and easy access to public sports and outdoor activities encourages a healthy lifestyle, and personalized counseling and training programs give children the skills to know how to apply to jobs and colleges.
