"description": "Art by BZarks! Wirewolf concept from Disney!\n\nIt was night as any other for the punk rat, Daniel. He had just finished fleeing the police after tagging a political poster. He always did think the mayor would look better with a beard. The resulting chase was close, but he 'always' comes out on top. After losing the cops by running across a busy street, he looked up at the moon, figuring he had enough fun for one night. However, he had no idea that the excitement was just about to begin…\n\nMeanwhile, hidden in the sky, an invisible space vessel from a far off location in both time and space arrives at it's destination. Inside, a being of cursed metal stroked his fingers along the control panel of a massive laser cannon on the vessel's underside. He tapped and turned at the controls, aiming it directly at the moon. With a deep and sinister voice, he spoke to himself, \"Finally, the time has come to unleash my curse upon new subjects.\" With a long metallic cackle, the dark master pulled down the control lever that caused the canon to charge…\n\nDaniel raised an eyebrow as the moon flashed brightly, then changed color from a pale white to a eerie light green. Everyone in the city began to open windows and doors to gawk at the new unnatural glow to the sky and landscape as a result. To add to the bizarre sight, green meteors began to fall from the moon and onto the city below. One fell close to Daniel's feet, and he saw that it wasn't a meteor at all. It was something much more unusual, a small ghost-like wolf of crackling green energy. Daniel squinted at the creature and muttered \"What the fu-\"\n\nThe being suddenly ran toward Daniel and pounced upon him, fangs bared and eyes white with power. The rat squeaked in surprise and put his arm up to protect himself, but the creature seemed to fade into it instead. And as quickly as the ghost disappeared inside, metal began to burst from his sleeve. Daniel gasped and tried to shake his arm free, but it was clear that the limb itself was turning to steel plating and heavy gears… and was spreading through his body.\n\nDaniel suddenly felt weak and fell to his knees, only able to watch in horror as his hand turned into a smooth, cold claw. The feeling continued down his chest as it expanded and hardened, while his stomach thinned to an unnatural degree. His heart beat became faster and faster, until beats became meaningless to the new powerful inner generator. He could feel large tubes burst from his neck, zip down his back, and connect to a transparent container just above his suddenly plated tail. After metal boots burst from his once prized sneakers, his unneeded breathing ceased. His new eyes glowed an unthinkable red as his head was overtaken by metallic skin and a steel mohawk.\n\nThis new 'wire rat' howled at the night sky as his former self was lost to the sudden powerful urges of his new body. His confused thoughts and horrified feelings overtaken by an all consuming hunger... for energy. He wasted no time in latching his pointed teeth into the nearest street lamp, sucking the power away until it was dark and silent. Briefly sated, he looked around at the chaos unfolding in the city as more energy wolves poured from the sky and converted anyone they could find. There was running, screaming, howling, and devouring of batteries and machines. Even in this feral state, the wire rat knew that it was too late for the people to resist.
