I was my character Marco as I sometimes am in my dreams. I was going out on a dangerous mission of some kind. I knew the ninja turtles apparently because as I was getting ready for the mission Donatello was there begging to go with me. I remember telling him time and again the jobs I went on were extremely dangerous, and I didn't want to see him getting hurt. He said he promised he'd be on alert as much as he could, and promised not to get in the way. Against my better judgement I agreed to let him come along this one time telling myself that I would just look out for him the best I could.\n\nWe went out and to where the mission was to take place. I was supposed to go out into the woods to meet up with an informant for info on what to do next at an abandoned building. It was the middle of the night and storming so it was hard to see where anything was. But Donatello with his sharp ninja eyes saw where we needed to go. We walked up to the half ruined building and I was thinking how good it turned out I brought him along for this mission. As we got to the building however, that changed as an explosion went off nearby. Donatello reacted quickly and jumped out of the way, but I was too slow and got pinned under heavy wood beams that fell from the nearby building. I struggled to get out from under them and asked Donnie to help me. But as he was about to a group of shadowy figures came out of the woods and tied him up. As they took out baseball bats and other weapons.\n\nI realized I had been set up, and now Donatello would be paying for my mistake. I struggled and yelled as they started beating Donatello. As hard as I struggled though I couldn't get free. All I could do was lay there and watch hearing the things hitting, and Donnie yelling in pain. Eventually the thugs got bored and left. Donatello was lying there curled up not moving. Seeing that gave me the strength to finally get free. I was battered badly myself and could only crawl to him slowly. I finally got to him and rolled him over onto his back. He yelled out in pain. I realized they'd broken quite a few of his bones. He writhed in pain on the ground. As I got to him I looked down and noticed I had a shard of wood sticking out of my side. Seeing that my vision doubled, and I fought hard not to go unconscious for Donnie's sake. After letting a second or two go by to clear my head I searched Donnie for his phone. I found it and wearily called his brothers and told them where we were, what happened to us, and told them to come help. I then hung up and told Donnie help was coming. Seeing how much pain he was in I put one hand under his head to support it, and held onto his hand with my other one. He told me that it hurt so bad, and I told him to stop talking and how it would only make it worse really just keeping him quiet for myself so I could try not feeling so guilty. That's how I spent the rest of that time. Sitting in the dark, in the storm waiting for help, and beating myself up for getting this kid into all this.
