She also has some additional weapon mastery over a few different weapons, mostly swords, spears, and axes.\n[b]Flight[/b]- While not an ability granted to her by the magic rituals, Virago is capable of flight thanks to her belt.The enchanted belt uses a spell from Sylphs that allows her to manipulate wind and air currents to lift her into the sky and fly when she wills it.\n[b]Limited Magical Prowess[/b]- While not a master of mysticism, Virago does possess a handful of spells she uses to aide her in her endeavors. She uses a guise spell to make her less recognizable when she’s a civilian and a stronger version that allows her to be more incognito in foes’ domains. A scrying spell allows her to communicate with members of the Seelie Court and others in the fay realm and locate people. She additionally has some rune stones used to trap fay criminals and a teleportation spell that returns them the fay realm.\n[b]Arsenal:\nBreast Plate[/b]- Crafted from a mix of bronze, orichalcum, and dwarvish steel, the plate is near-impenetrable. Anything short of an RPG would have a hard time piercing it.\n[b]Bracers[/b]- Though looking like simple leather vambraces, Virago’s bracers have been given an enchantment that makes them as hard as steel, allowing her to deflect bullets or other weapons.\n[b]Belt[/b]- Similar to her bracers, this belt has been enchanted with a defensive spell to keep it from being pierced by bullets but it has an additional enchantment - a sylph’s spell for flight. It allows her to harness wind currents, even to slightly command them, granting her flight and levitation. \n[b]Sword[/b]- Crafted from Dwarvish Steel & Orichalcum, the blade is incredible durable and sharpened to the point that it could pierce hardened steel with a strong thrust and cut solid stone like nothing. Mixed in during it’s smelting was iron which messes with fay magics, allowing the blade to cancel or dispel fay spellcraft and most enchantments.\n[b]Scrying Dagger[/b]- a small and easily concealed tool of Virago’s, an enchanted dagger which thanks to a clever guise spell can take the form of a simple pocket knife. The blade is made of some dwarvish steel and some iron, while also given an special scrying enchantment for finding concealed fay. The blade glows and gives off sounds to warn her. In the presence of seelie fay, it glows blue and gives a soft hum while in the presence of unseelie fay, it glows red and gives a sharp whine. The edge of the blade has been treated with iron allowing her use it in combat should an opponent fay try to attack her.\n[b]Shield[/b]- Like her sword, this shield is made from dwarvish steel & orichalcum. It’s decently light and incredibly durable. With a couple of runes enchanting the shield, it’s able to block magical attacks.\n[b]Rune Stones[/b]- These seemingly simple stones are etched with magical runes that are intended for some spells. Virago has two sets of rune stones; one set is used for scrying and the other is used to produce a magical snare/trap to capture fugitive fay long enough for her to teleport them to the fay realm.\n-----\nTo round out the trinity parallels with DC, we have Virago. I actually went in a very different direction with her than Paragon and NightHawk. While the both of them are basically just anthro versions of the superheroes with some minor additional details, Virago is somewhat analogous to Wondie. Rather than being the clay crafted daughter of an immortal amazon queen(cause fuck the retcon of her as basically a demigoddess), Virago was adopted by a tribe of Fairies who trained her as a warrior, imbued her with magical abilities and would later send her out as their emissary. I liked delving into mythology surrounding fairies and fay since the big two don’t really delve into it that much.
