Centuries ago, she was perhaps one of the most powerful spell casters on the planet but after her defeat at the rebellion led by her son, some of her powers were drained away. This combined with her confinement for a few centuries led to her powers being lesser than before. During her time as Virago’s nemesis, she has gained some of her powers back but hasn’t completely restored herself to her full power. Her known repertoire includes elemental spells, teleportation, conjuration, illusions, charms, enchantments and potion brewing. Her knowledge also allows her to perform more ritual based spells but these often require a lot more time and resources which she often doesn’t have.[/i] \n[b]Extensive Mystical Knowledge[/b]- [i]In her lifetime, Mab has accumulated an amazing breadth of knowledge regarding magic. She possesses collected knowledge of many forms of magic ranging from simple divination to complex conjuring rituals. This knowledge also extends to potion ingredients, prophecies, magical hotspots and power-granting artifacts. I drew inspiration for her from DC Comic's depictions of Circe and a little bit of the DCAU version of Morgan Le Fay but tried my best to shy away from getting too close to either in design while taking some design ques from cat-like creatures in global folklore like the Cait-Sith of Scotland and the Nekomata of Japan. I actually finished this reference sheet more than a month ago but was holding off on posting it until I could finish writing out more details about her abilities but I wanted to post it.
