  "description": "Well, I got sick during the last few days of my vacation, so I wasn’t able to finish it. I tried a few times afterward, but to be honest, my animation process was a mess xP. Since it was my first time making an animation like this, I made a few big mistakes. I ended up messing up some parts while trying to fix others. I have 20 different versions as backups and tried a few times to bring the good parts back together, but it would take more time than I’m willing to invest right now.\n\nHowever, here’s a link to the Blend file if anyone is interested in doing something with it:\nhttps://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1nU38A8sK4fEhQjoHi4WSMBs6v4KcoWUt?usp=sharing\n\nI spent some hours cleaning it up, and during that process, I learned one important thing that probably caused most of the issues: I somehow created 20 different actions, even though I had planned to avoid using them from the start because I didn’t fully understand how they worked. In my early attempts (before making backups), I accidentally deleted some progress this way. While trying not to work with actions, I likely switched between them unintentionally. I also unknowingly used some actions in the NLA editor, which added to my confusion since I couldn’t tell which actions were in use.\n\nLike I said, I learned a lot during this cleanup xD...\n\nSo for now, this will be the last post in this series. I’m not sure if I’ll finish this project later, but for now, I want to apply the knowledge I gained from this experience to a fresh start.\n\nA few tips:\n\nAdjust your autosave settings so you don’t get screwed by a mistake you made 4 hours ago.\nLearn the Action Editor ASAP. Watch a YouTube video or something—it could save your project xP.\nClean up your workspace. I know, I know, every tutorial tells you to do this, and I didn’t because the project didn’t seem big enough for it to matter. Obviously, I was wrong. And, obviously, I won’t learn from this soon because that’s just who I am, but hey, at least I warned you\n.\nBesides autosaves, you might also want manually created saves for different versions. For example, at one point I changed some quality settings to speed up render time. Luckily, I had a backup with the old settings because I had no idea how to fix what I did\n.\nLastly, sometimes it’s three times faster to start an animation from scratch rather than trying to fix the one you’ve got. But while trying to fix it, you learn a lot about what you did wrong.
