Previously on Galarian Days... While Sophia goes back home to Circhester, Zander takes the train back to the Isle of Armor to train for the open invitationals. There, he reunites with Honey, Master Mustard and Hyde (but not with Klara and/or Avery, thankfully) and meets the Master Dojo's newest student: a yellow bear named Wufu. After both bear and wolf win against Matron and Master in a Double Battle, Zander realizes that he's already faltering from his mission to stop the opposite crisis! - Zander was seated at the Master Dojo's kitchen table, joined by Mustard, Honey, Hyde and Wufu. "I let this happen," Zander said, still lamenting. "I wanted to show Zacian and Zamazenta that they made the right decision choosing me to become the Wolfen Knight of Galar, but instead... they were wrong. I was wrong. Worst of all, we... were wrong." "Now, now, let's not let a few minor setbacks get us down, sweetie," Honey said. "With all due respect, Ms. Honey, speak for yourself," Zander said. "You're not the one having to fight giant monsters that Pokemon don't have a Gastly of a Vanillite's chance against! I do! But it doesn't matter anyhow, because now the whole Isle of Armor has been picked clean of Galar particles, and I'm still no closer to finding the man in black and the woman in white making those Dynamiasmas than when I found out they were!" "Then why don't you just get your tail in gear and look for them, then?" Hyde asked. "Now, Hyde, he needs to think this through, first," Mustard said. "Your dad's right," Zander said. "What would I even ask people? 'Have you seen a man in black and a woman in white ruining Galar somewhere?' If I asked people that, I'd end up in a shallow grave for antagonizing wedding couples!" He then got up from his seat and added, "No, if I want to find those two so I can strike them down and stop the opposite crisis, I'll have to look for them in places I know they'll be seeking out, and I may have an idea where those could be..." "Then I'm coming with you!" Wufu said. "You?" Zander asked in surprise. "Not to sound rude, but what makes you think you can handle this daunting task the legendary Pokemon of Galar chose me to carry out?" "Because I was chosen, too!" Zander turned to the Master Dojo family and asked, "Did he just say he was..." "He did," all three of them answered. Wufu then explained, "Look, I know that we had just met and all, but while you were completing the Gym Challenge, I was completing a challenge of my own, and that was the trials of the Master Dojo to aquire the secret armor, then master the armor itself. And let me tell you, my fur coat wasn't as brightly colored as it is today, and I assume yours wasn't either." "Yeah, I've been meaning to ask about that," Zander said, "but it'll have to wait until the ride back to main Galar. So, welcome aboard, Wufu!" After Zander and Wufu shared another firm pawshake, Zander announced, "Well, we better head out! Thanks for the training, Master Dojo family!" Mustard, Honey and Hyde waved both anthros off as they left the Master Dojo, but two minutes after they walked out, a different pair walked back in, covered in sand... - Meanwhile, Zander called a Flying Taxi to take him and Wufu to his first stop, and he ordered someone slower than Corey so they could talk during the ride. As soon as both wolf and bear were seated in the cab, Zander asked Wufu, "So, what color was your fur before it was this brilliant yellow?" "Cinnamon brown," Wufu answered. "What was yours?" "Gray. And now that I know the what, I'm curious about the how." "Then perhaps I should tell you," Wufu explained. "It all started when I first came to the Isle of Armor..." - (Flashback) - Wufu had just arrived at the Armor Station... in a plaid shirt and denim overalls, as well as his cinnamon-brown fur coat. "So, this is the Isle of Armor, home of the Master Dojo. I can't even imagine what unexplored territory on this island could be holding... but exploring will have to wait. I came here to learn how to channel all this energy into something less aggressive, and more constructive." As soon as he left the station and stepped onto the Fields of Honor, he was approached by two figures, Klara and Avery. (Who else?) "Welcome to the Isle of-" Avery started, but then he got a look at who he was talking to and said, "Oh, another anthro." "First a wolf, now a bear?" Klara questioned. "Oh, what next?" "What, do you have a problem with bears?" Wufu asked. "None whatsoever," Avery claimed, "but this time, we won't make the same mistake we did with the last anthro that arrived here!" "Nope!" Klara chimed in. "Guess our team-up's gonna happen after all! Prepare yourself, teddy-boy!" And with that, both Gym Leaders in training threw out their Poke Balls- BAMP! PANK! "GAHK!" "OUCH!" That quickly, those Poke Balls fell off of their owners' faces, revealing red circles with bloody noses! Wufu lowered his paws again and said, "I don't have time to waste on common students. I came here to burn off some anger, and you two will only serve as fodder for that." He then turned to leave, but stopped and added, "One more thing: call me that degrading name again and I will shred that mole off your face faster than you can say benzoyl peroxide." "That selfish upstart..." Avery muttered, unable to keep his Poke Balls floating out of fear of a hemmorage. "Well, it is official. Anthros are the absolute worst." "And that stuff's for pimples!" Klara retorted. "Ouch... Does anybody have any tissues?" - "You beaned them with their own balls?" Zander asked. "And I thought I was a hole before I was chosen..." "You don't know the half of it," Wufu said. "Now arriving at your destination," the cabbie announced over the intercom. "Guess the other half wiill have to wait," Zander said before the Flying Taxi touched down. He and Wufu then exited the cab into... Turffield.
