Previously on Galarian Days... Our heroes have finally arrived at Eternal Island, ready to enact their moratorium on the opposite crisis. But before they can come up with a plan of action to return the Galar particles to Galar, a Macro Cosmos employee has them condensed into a cerise titan called Giganta Matter, forcing them to respond in kind by (inadvertedly) fusing together into a giant hybrid and beginning a powerful showdown for the fate of Galar... - The two titans stared intensely at each other, ready to begin the showdown. Giganta Matter, however, was the first to act by launching another Max Strike, but the hybrid simply hovered forward, letting the pillar of light miss him entirely. He then raised his right hand, and streams and currents were emitted from his palm, suddenly getting encased in ice afterwards. When the frozen mass was complete, it became a sword of icewater that the hybrid swung at Giganta Matter, cutting it clean in half as a "BANG!" was heard from inside the cerise mass. However, the mass simply shifted from its Normal Dynamiasma form to the shape of a cloud with 17 swirls... then to a different form: the Fighting Dynamiasma that Zander fought in the Wild Area. It then tensed up its muscles until its veins popped up, and a giant energy fist fell from the sky, rocketing towards the hybrid. Thinking quickly, the hybrid turned his sword sideways and used the flat of it to connect with the Max Knuckle and bat it back at Giganta Matter, crashing the fist into it and causing another "BANG!" to sound. The mass became its cloud form again... but it was sporting 16 swirls this time. But there was no time to dwell on that, because Giganta Matter had shifted to the form of the Flying Dynamiasma from Wyndon Stadium. It then flapped its wings to blast the hybrid with a high-speed tornado, too quickly for him to dodge. But the hybrid had another trick up his sleeve... so to speak. He then raised his left hand, and a mass of ghostly wisps coalesced in front of his palm, their combined malice and grudges encasing them in darkness. The result was a dark shield with a wicked smile, one that opened its mouth and blasted a beam of black energy that colided with the Max Airstream. The hybrid then tensed up his muscles, and the beam pushed the tornado back further and further until it crashed into Giganta Matter, and another "BANG!" was heard. Now the cloud form bore only 15 swirls... and looked a little smaller. But just as quickly, it shifted into the form of the Poison Dynamiasma from Hulbury Stadium. It then summoned columns of purple sludge from where the hybrid was, but he merely danced around the columns to render the Max Ooze ineffective before countering with a slash from his sword, which had some of the goo splashed onto it. "BANG!" As the hybrid swung his sword to shake off the gunk, Giganta Matter's cloud form was down to 14 swirls before it shifted to the form of the Ground Dynamiasma from Circhester Stadium. It then burrowed its way underground and tunneled towards the hybrid, but he simply waited until the cerise titan was directly below him before he parried the Max Quake with a downward thrust, stabbing the earth and Giganta Matter along with it! Another "BANG!" was heard, and the cloud emerged from the ground and floated back to its starting point, now with only 13 swirls. This time it shifted to the form of the Rock Dynamiasma from the Wild Area, and it summoned a square stone pillar to topple onto the hybrid. But the Max Rockfall was simply dodged with a quick backstep and pushed back with a pulse of black energy from the hybrid's shield, thrusting it back to Giganta Matter for another "BANG!" to ring out. Now that the cloud was reduced to 12 swirls, it had begun to shrink a little more. But the next form it shifted to was still massive: the Bug Dynamiasma from Turffield Stadium. It began its assault by summoning a plague of butterflies after the hybrid, but all he did was raise his shield, and another black energy pulse burst forth to disintegrate the Max Flutterby and cause another "BANG!" Now Giganta Matter's cloud form was down to 11 swirls, and it shifted its form to that of the Ghost Dynamiasma that accompanied the Fighting Dynamiasma in the Wild Area. With a haunting wail, it called upon possessed antique furniture to fly after the hybrid, hoping that the Max Phantasm would do the trick. But with quick wits and fast reflexes, the hybrid gracefully evaded and jumped the furniture, using the objects as platforms to elevate himself until he was over the cerise giant, then he leaped down and chopped it in half with his sword, resulting in another "BANG!" 10 swirls left in the cloud, but the battle was far from over as it shifted to the Steel Dynamiasma from Hammerlocke Stadium and summoned a row of metal spikes at the hybrid. But he used his sword to pole-vault himself over the Max Steelspike and followed with his shield pressing down on Giganta Matter, reinforced with black energy pulses until the next "BANG!" happened. With only 9 swirls left and a little less mass in the cloud, the fight had reached the halfway point as Giganta Matter shifted to its next form: the Fire Dynamiasma that Zander fought on the Isle of Armor. It took a deep breath, then blasted a massive fireball from its mouth at the hybrid, but all it took to counter the Max Flare was for him to thrust his shield at the blazing sphere, bouncing it back with a pulse of black energy and crashing it back into its source for another "BANG!" The hybrid was starting to slightly fatigue, but with only 8 swirls left in the cloud, he wasn't going to quit until it was over. Which was good, since now Giganta Matter had shifted to the form of the Water Dynamiasma, one of the first Dynamiasmas Zander fought. It conentrated moisture in front of itself, then blasted it all at the hybrid as a massive torrent of water. But the hybrid raised his shield again and fired the black beam, pushing the Max Geyser back until the next "BANG!" rang out. Only 7 swirls left, but the fight was still going strong as Giganta Matter shifted to the form of the other first Dynamiasma Zander fought: the Grass Dynamiasma. It started spitting seeds at the hybrid, but before they had a chance to take root, he used the flat of his sword to bat them back at his attacker, and they stuck to the cerise giant and swelled up into cancerous tumors before the next "BANG!" (*) With only 6 swirls left, the cloud had lost a little more size, but with all it lost, it was still at an imposing size as it now became the Electric Dynamiasma from Motostoke Stadium. It then summoned a mass of thunderclouds over the hybrid, but before the Max Lightning could fire off, he stabbed the land with his sword and raised his shield to the sky, grounding himself and making the lightning bolts ineffective before raising his sword to fling off some leftover charge at Giganta Matter, making it short out with another "BANG!" 5 swirls, so close, but not at the end yet as Giganta Matter's cloud form shifted to that of the Psychic Dynamiasma from Ballonlea Stadium. The pupils in all of its eyes shrank with wrath as it conjured up an energy ball that blasted a tunnel of colorful rings at the hybrid, but he thrusted his shield repeatedly at the tunnel as black energy pulses dissipated the Max Mindstorm on impact before a quick black beam was aimed at the cerise titan. Another "BANG!" reduced the cloud's swirl count to 4, and it shifted to the form of the Rock Dynamiasma's au pair: the Ice Dynamiasma. It surprised the hybrid by conjuring a current of cold air and riding it upwards, forcing him to look up at the clouds. Two seconds later, large balls of ice fell from the sky, and the hybrid dodged the smaller (in comparison) Max Hailstorm before he thrusted his sword upwards, impaling Giganta Matter and dashing its hopes of getting the drop on him. "BANG!" Now the battle was on the home stretch with the cloud made a little smaller with 3 swirls left. After it went back to its starting point, Giganta Matter shifted to the form of the Dragon Dynamiasma, one of the last Dynamiasmas to invade the Wild Area. Now that it was down to a few options, it resorted to catharsis as it roared explosively and spun towards the hybrid, hoping to strike him down once and for all, but he countered the Max Wyrmwind by spinning in the opposite direction with his sword out, slashing the cerise titan in half for another "BANG!" 2 swirls left in the cloud, but now the fighting was starting to get to the hybrid as his breathing got heavier. But Giganta Matter still had plenty of fight in it as it shifted to the other last Dynamiasma from the Wild Area: the Dark Dynamiasma. It also roared explosively as it sent out two tendrils of dark energy writhing and flailing at the hybrid, butt he responded to the Max Darkness in kind with a raise of his shield and a black energy beam that made the cerise titan go "BANG!" before the tendrils had a chance to even touch him and faded away instead. Now that it was down to its last swirl, the cloud only had one form to shift into: the Fairy Dynamiasma that Zander rescued his Snorlax, Serta, from... so it did just that, and with an earsplitting scream of anguish, it called upon a shower of stars to fall from the sky, now bent on destroying the hybrid even if a chunk of the planet was taken out with it! Thinking quickly, the hybrid connected the handle of his sword to the top of his shield and spun the resulting weapon above his head as fast as he could, creating a whirlwind that sucked all the falling stars from the Max Starfall into it before they could impact on the ground and merging them into a sparkling cluster, then swung the cluster at Giganta Matter and pelted it with its own force for the last "BANG!" With no more swirls left in the cloud, all that was left of Giganta Matter was an oversized puff of cerise dust, and while it was starting to de-stablize, it decided to turn its goal of destroying the hybrid into a suicide mission by rushing towards him while it was bursting... but all he did was thrust the sword half of his weapon into the puff, impaling the puff along with an invisible force field around it, now riddled with cracks upon cracks upon CRACKS as the hybrid finally spoke in a booming voice since its sudden appearance. "Go to hell." With a quick twist of the blade, Giganta Matter was finally destroyed once and for all in a violent "KERPLAMMO!!!" But it didn't end there, as the particles were quickly absorbed into the weapon, making it glow a bright red before it shifted to cerulean. Then, with his job done, the hybrid aimed the shining mass of blue light at the sky and tossed it like a javelin before it flew over the ocean in its direction. Back on Eternal Island, all the Macro Cosmos employees had taken shelter below the platforms since the battle started, watching as their emergency failsafe countermeasure was foiled at every phase of its fighting. Now that the hybrid had won, and the Galar particles that Giganta Matter was made of were taken back and flung into the air, all of them were absolutely speechless but one, and the only words he could manage to utter was... "We're gonna get fired."
