Now you know how to flip people off.”[/color][/i] He said.\n\n   Sunny held out her middle finger but desperately wanted to hide it.    He patted her on the back. “Maybe you’re not such a wimp after all. Okay, who else…?” He said. He looked around and spotted a familiar-looking raccoon boy. “Got one. See that dumbass raccoon? Fuck ‘im.” He said. He flipped the boy off and seemed a little annoyed.

   “Yeah, eff you, raccoon kid! Uh, wait. Why do we hate him?” She asked. Now she felt bad because she was flipping off a kid she’d never met.

   Dakota didn’t feel like discussing his history with Zee. “A bad kid. He lies to my best friend, Elan, and he screwed with me.” He said. “Anyway, now you’ve got it. Just don’t go around flipping everyone off.” He warned her.



They spent the next ten minutes together with Dakota secretly flipping people off and Sunny laughing at him. There was a moment when an older student caught eye of his finger, but they stood down once they knew who he was. Someone crafty like Dakota wasn’t worth the trouble of messing with.

   In the distance they spied the teacher that gave Sunny detention a week ago. “Hey, isn’t that the guy that busted you for stealing?” Dakota asked.

   She immediately recognized the man as Mr. Wells. He wasn’t well-liked on campus and most students enjoyed spreading rumors about him. “Y-yeah. I hope he doesn’t notice me and give me extra work…” She said.

   Just then, their principal, Mr. Whit walked by and barely heard what she said. “Excuse me. What was that, Ms. Doggo?” He asked. He stopped walking past them and stood in front of her.

   Dakota jumped in with a clever excuse for her. “Ugh. Why are you creeping on us? She said ‘I want to hug Mr. Wells.’ Because everyone here is so mean to him.” He said. For once in his life he felt nervous. He didn’t want to get her expelled because of his stupid ‘lessons.’

   Luckily, his explanation seemed to go over well with him. “Ah, I see. I thought she said something else. I really do wish your peers would be nicer to him. Wait, I know. You two girls should help him clean his classroom after school’s over. That’d cheer him up!” He said. He walked over to Mr. Wells and let him know they’d be stopping by after school.

   Sunny turned to face Dakota nervously. “A-are we really going to help him clean? He’s a jerk. I really hope he doesn’t make me clean up every day now…” She said.
