Unknown suspect. No sign of forced entry. [b][u]Description of location[/u][/b] 312 Rosewood Drive is single floor residential house owned by the Hopp family. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, and a study totalling 1400 square feet. On the property is a detached garage with storage room. Floor plan is included as diagram 1. The back door was found unlocked, no sign of forced entry. The main crime scene is the bedroom belonging to the family’s daughter. The room contains bed, closet, desk, and other assorted furnishings (see diagram 2). [b][u]Victim(s)[/u][/b] [b]1. Tina Hopp[/b] Hare (lepus sapiens), female, age 13 Parents: Jack Hopp and Emma Hopp (owners of the property) Resident at the property Deceased, cause of death: strangulation. Victim was found naked on the bed with evidence of sexual arousal and penetration both pre- and postmortem. Victim’s bodily fluids were found on the bed at several locations (see diagram 3). Wolf semen was recovered from the victim’s vagina and mouth. Victim had extensive bruising on both sides of the neck with matching damage to the windpipe consistent with prolonged manual strangulation by hand. Bruising around both wrists, with rope tied around them. [b]2. Sophie Wildhoof[/b] Red-Fronted Gazelle (eudorcas rufifrons sapiens), female, age 13 Parents: Ajani Wildhoof and Kiara Wildhoof Guest at the property Deceased, cause of death: hanging. Victim was found naked, hanged from a rope draped over the bedroom door and secured to the doorknob on the other side. Body showed evidence of sexual arousal and penetration postmortem. Victim’s bodily fluids were found on the ground under her and on the inside of her thighs. Wolf semen was recovered from the victim’s vagina. Victim had extensive bruising around the neck, consistent with strangulation by the rope around the victim’s neck. There were injuries to the tendons on the neck suggesting lengthy period of struggling. There were marks on the door where the victim’s hooves had kicked against it. Victim’s hands were tied behind her back, with bruising around both wrists from the rope. [b]3. Emily Fairpaw[/b] House Mouse (mus musculus sapiens), female, age 13 Parents: Brody Fairpaw and Michelle Fairpaw Guest at the property Deceased, cause of death: exsanguination Victim was found naked tied to a chair. Victim’s throat had been slashed causing fatal loss of blood. On victim’s body were six additional wounds matching the large kitchen knife recovered from the floor next to the victim. Victim’s genitals contained severe lacerations consistent with repeated penetration with the blade of the kitchen knife. Victim’s wrists and ankles were bruised where they had been tied to the chair. See coroner’s report for details and exact locations of injuries. Large amount of victim’s blood was pooled in the area around the chair, additionally there were numerous secondary transfers of victim’s blood around the room and on the other recovered bodies. See diagram 4. Wolf semen was recovered from inside the victim’s mouth and on the victim’s body. [b][u]Suspect(s)[/u][/b] DNA and hair recovered from the scene indicates one suspect. Suspect is an unknown male wolf (canis lupus sapiens) with gray fur of medium length. Pawprints thought to belong to the suspect were recovered from blood stains. Matching pawprints were found imprinted in the flowerbed under the bedroom window. Based on prints and coroner’s examination of bruising on Tina Hopp’s neck the suspect is thought to be large, approximately between 5’ 8” and 6 feet. DNA, trace and physical evidence collected matches the suspect of cases 1450852 (11/03/2017) and 97921 (04/30/2011). [b][u]Evidence collected[/u][/b] Locations of evidence, see diagrams 2 and 3. Crime scene released on 03/17/2020. Coroner’s report finished on 03/29/2020. All collected samples have been analysed as of 05/23/2020. No further investigation of scene or samples scheduled. Collected samples and evidence moved to long-term storage as unit 240271. Biological samples placed in cold storage as unit 59117. Investigation transferred to the special investigations unit on 03/20/2020.
