Out in the Antarctica, the only noise that was heard was the harsh howling of blizzard. The snow and wind started to pick up as the two Seekers walked through the storm. Hours had passed, and the weather was getting worse and worse. The two Seekers were so cold, hungry, and were trying to find a shelter where they could hide, but no luck. Dreadfang kept trying to contact Nemesis for a groundbridge, but, noone answered. No matter how hard he tried, the arctic snow was messing with the signal. As Zentrakh, their worst enemy, made their battle ship Quiet Terror crash, all the other communications were ruined. And they thought that they were the last two alive. They didn't know if someone else survived the crash. They escaped from there before Zentrakh's soldiers started to look around the battle ship for anyone who was alive to take them to their Underground world. And also, no energon was left for them. Trudging through the deep snow, Starscream wrapped his arms around himself and kept on walking behind Dreadfang. The cold icy air blasted through his wings, and Starscream's couldn't take it anymore. He shivered so badly, but Dreadfang looked pretty okay, but he knew he was cold. Walking through this madness for hours, it was just too much for Starscream to handle. If they don't find a warmer climate, they will probably turn into a icicle. Starscream's vision began to become blurry, because of his very low energon levels. He had several wounds on his frame from the explosion, and they leaked energon. His optics began to slowly close, knees buckling to send him into the snow. Last thing he heard was Dreadfang calling his name, before everything went black for him. Slowly opening his optics, Starscream felt that he had a blanket over him, keeping him in warm. And to make it better, a fireplace was lit on, cracking softly. Starscream looked around where he was. He was in a cave. On the other side sat Dreadfang against the wall with crossed arms, sleeping. Small smile spread Starscream's faceplates as he found several energon cubes next to him. How Dreadfang found them, he didn't care, and immediately took one and drank it. Gulping down the great mouthfuls, it must have been the greatest energon he ever tasted, even if it was just a normal one. All too soon the energon cube was empty, and Starscream immediately drank the second one. When he was done, he set it down, smiling wider. He felt a lot better. And he was glad the wounds stopped leaking energon, thanks to the bandages he had around them. Starscream never knew Dreadfang would do that much for him. "You're awake." Were the words Starscream heard, and he turned to look at Dreadfang, who was awake, staring at Starscream. Nodding his head slowly, Starscream had snuggled into the blanket, trying to be in more warm. It was still cold for him. Starscream looked at Dreadfang, and he could see the deep scratches on Dreadfang's right leg, left arm, and behind his crossed arms, there was another scratch on his chest. The wounds didn't leak energon, but they were deep and looked pretty bad. But Starscream isn't a fool, he knew Dreadfang could handle this. Realizing that Starscream was looking at his wounds, Dreadfang had chuckled softly. "I'm fine, brother. But more importantly, how do you feel?" Blinking his optics softly, Starscream snuggled more into the blanket, lightly shivering. "Fine." He grumbled, tiredly turning onto the other side, so his back faced Dreadfang. Shaking his head in disbelieve, Dreadfang didn't believe Starscream. "You are cold." He spoke, causing Starscream to shake his head. "No. I'm perfectly okay, just leave me alone." "Stop lieing, I can see right through you. And actually.. you are acting like a sparkling." "NO! Shut up! Primus, you don't know what it's like! You don't understand anything, and even less, me! You have no idea what I'm going through! You don't have a clue how much this hurts!!" Starscream burst out. He immediately stood up from the ground, lowering his wings in anger. "You think you know what I'm going through, but really you have no idea! I want to move on, I want to get past everything and start over.. But as the old memories of suffering, torture and deaths of my most loved ones creep back into my mind, it occurs to me, that I'll never have a happy life! NEVER!! It's not that easy as you think to forget all those times!" Screaming his voice out, Starscream curled his claws into fists. All those times in his past, how he was forced to join the Decepticons, getting beaten by Megatron everytime he failed something, and seeing his most close friends die, and now this war against Zentrakh he has to endure and survive, Starscream has been thinking about if he's even supposed to be here. He's not getting anything but endless suffer. It's not fair! "Starscream.. calm down-" "CALM DOWN?! YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN?! I'M PERFECTLY FINE! I DON'T NEED YOU, I WOULDN'T WANT TO NEED YOU! YOU DIDN'T HELP ME AT ALL!! YOU ONLY MADE THINGS WORSE! PEOPLE RIDICULED ME AND MOCKED ME AND ACCUSED ME BECAUSE OF YOU! YOU ENJOYED WHAT YOU DID AND YOU NEVER APOLOGIZED. YOU THINK I NEED YOU? YOU THOUGHT WRONG!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE MISSING, BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO BLINDED BY STUPIDITY TO SEE IT!! OH YEAH I AM FRAGGING CALM!!" Frowning, Dreadfang had watched his brother scream then knee down on the ground with hands buried in his face, crying. Moving over to the crying Seeker, Dreadfang had kneed down to him and picked up his brother, holding him close. Crying into his chest, Starscream had wrapped his arms around the Bloody Assassin. Dreadfang did knew that Starscream had a lot of problems and the things, but he just didn't knew it was THAT strong for the silver Seeker. Going to sit against the wall with Starscream sitting in his lap, Dreadfang kept Starscream close to his chest, as Starscream pressed close to his warmth. "Don't be afraid, Starscream. Everything will be okay in the end. I know it will be, I know it. You can count on me, but if you don't want to.. then I understand." "I'm sorry.. I'm s-so sorry.. I can't.. it's too much.." Starscream stuttered as he tried to push back his sobs. He was so tired.. so tired... He hated it. With an hour in, the silver Seeker was calm, and just laid against Dreadfang's chest, with the blanket wrapped around him. "Feeling better?" Dreadfang asked, and Starscream responded with a small nod, still entranced with what happened earlier. He still felt a bit shaken, but... clearly unharmed. He felt so tired of the hiding, he wanted to get out of here and kill the slag out of Zentrakh, but he knew he wouldn't kill him. He's not that strong as Dreadfang. And in a state like this, he can't fight. Zentrakh caused serious damage to him earlier, but Starscream was lucky that he wasn't infected by the virus. If he was, then he would never be the same. Opening and closing his optics multiple times, Starscream had became too tired, and eventually fell asleep. He was going to recharge for a bit. In case anything happens, the silver Seeker was always a light sleeper and would be up in a flash. As Starscream slept, Dreadfang was alone to stay awake, thinking through some things. Like why Zentrakh started to be so active these last three months, attacking them four times every week. And what Dreadfang couldn't understand, was why Zentrakh kept threatening to take Starscream away from him. He has no idea what Zentrakh wants to do with him, but one's thing for sure, he has to protect Starscream at all costs. No matter what will happen. "It's fine, Starscream. Just rest." Dreadfang spoke to his brother, and he lightly chuckled as Starscream purred lightly. He was like a cat, so soft and delicate, and would purr like no tomorrow when in content. When the storm will wear off, Dreadfang will try and contact Nemesis again. Looking to the cave entrance, the snow and cold wind still blew outside like mad. Hide and Protect.
