He's been around for many years but is still quite a young reaper compared to his past reincarnations, he was cold and indifferent about everything and found mortals to be disgusting creatures because of the common wicked nature he witnessed from them, not to mention he found the existence of every living creature pointless and have no purpose to exist. Things later change when he met a mortal girl, the reaper couldn't be seen by mortals so he didn't need to worry about being seen but this child had the ability to see him and notice. He was surprised to say the least but was intrigued, she went up to and spoke to him, she would bring around place and have a bit of fun. She had managed to befriend death and gave him a whole new way of viewing life even giving him a name \"kaoru\". He grew too attached to the girl that when the time finally came to end her life he hesitated, the child was sick and was dying which was why he was around her in the first place. She was suffering through the night and kaoru weild his scythe and he hesitated...taro snapped him out of telling get on with it. He breathed in and swung his scythe down taking the girls life, after that was said and done he held her body close and for the first time throughout his entire existence he had let down tears of sorrow and felt pain he was never supposed to feel. After that he became more caring about life in the mortal realm, doing the best he can to keep their souls safe when guiding them to after life, helping those lost and unable to move on and sometimes helping those on the verge of ending there life.
