"description": " I'm honestly not sure where to begin with this piece. I have commissioned, literally, hundreds of pieces of art over the years and this is easily in my top five favorites. The cartoon version of Garfield is generally simple, but there are a couple of aspects to the design that seemed to be difficult for some artists to nail down properly. This artist had no such issues. More than that, they were able to embelish him where I wanted. This piece is based on the 90 Nightmares version of the character but with a couple of small changes. I think the expression in this picture is absolutely priceless, the drop of sweat was a touch of genius. Every detail, even the minutia, is done with skill and care. The cracks in the ground from his claws, the bend of the knee that implies how heavy his ass is and even the way his belly drapes over the bus all make this feel like a next level piece of art. I have used artists in the past that share a similar interest, but even they do not capture the moment quite like this. It is absolutely amazing!\n\nI happened to mention to the artist that, in the macro paradigm, I largely play the role of a voyeur.. The artist took it upon themselves to make two versions of this commission, a normal one and one with an added perspective of looking through a window. That POV perspective was such a nice touch. This artist is truly deserving of the title. Including tip I paid over $200 for this commission and it was worth every penny.\n\nI'm really torn on which one I like better. The shading in the outside version is more robust but the perspective from the inside version really lands a lot nicer with me.\n\nCreator-this artist has requested an anonymous credit.",
