The cries and shouts of the crowd grow louder with every minute. Armored personnel approach the mob with shields drawn and guns raised, but not a single shot is fired. The angry animals continue to retaliate against the advancing troops, throwing garbage, rocks, and rubble from already destroyed structures. Things quickly get out of hand when Molotov cocktails are tossed at the peacekeeping force, causing shots to be fired in the air first. Brawls then break out, calling for more reinforcements, and for the military to step in.\nAs the chaos ensues in the streets at ground level, four animals are found gathered in a large, brick building with stone walls surrounding its perimeter. They are two stories off the ground, watching the disorder down below and locked inside a classroom for children.\n“Jeez,” says Miffy, walking away from the window. “Can’t believe this… Spending the rest of our days up here with the whole town being torn apart…”\n“All hell’s breaking loose still!” Cindy explains. “It’s been weeks and all of this chaos is still going on! Ugh!!!” \n“Hey, relax, Babe.” Jay walks toward her and puts his arms around her. “We’ll get through this. Don’t you worry.”\nThe sheep swats his arms away. “Look around you, Jay! This place is in disarray! We can’t keep fighting this anymore!”\n“Hey… Can’t a boyfriend comfort his girl? Come on, Babe…”\n“Jay, this is not the time! We need to think about what we’re doing in terms of this situation!”\n“Would you all please keep it down!” shouts Kenji from the corner, sitting in a pretzel style. “I’m trying to concentrate.”\nCindy looks to the monkey. “You’re serious right now, right?! We’re being stretched thin, and all you are doing is meditating?! How can you meditate at a time like this!”\n“Shut up! I need focus!” The yellow-masked monkey remains in his posture, eyes closed and deep breathing. “My, such interesting visions…”\nMiffy narrows one eye. “What are you seeing?” \n“These aren’t-” He gasps. “No! It cannot be!” His eyes flutter open. “It can’t!” \n“What?!” Cindy spurts. “What did you see?!”\n“The flawed fox… and his friends… They are with the enemy…”\nMiffy’s expression relaxes. “No… You don’t say…”\nJay flips over a desk in rage with a snarl. “How dare he! I knew it! I knew all along that brat was nothing but evil! I’ll kill him for this!”\nKenji stands to his feet. “That isn’t possible, Jay. We cannot get to him in this state. Even with our current situation.”\n“Uh,” Cindy interrupts. “I hate to butt in, but we need to think about this, first. How do we plan on helping our city?”\n“We don’t,” utters Jay, causing everyone to look directly at him. “This place is done. It’s time we initiate plan ‘B’ and plan our exit.”\n“You want to abandon the city?!” Miffy exclaims. “Abandon what we call ‘home?!’ Abandon the people who have poured support into us?! Abandon all of our hard work?!” \n“Heroto is a lost cause, now! There’s nothing we can do to save it, nor everyone here! We may have done a lot here, but we can’t do anything more! Once the four make it out on top, they jump over the edge of the roof to escape the pursuing guards.
