"writing": "Haya opens her eyes to see the morning fog creeps into the mouth of the cave. When she sits up to look outside, the rabbit can only make out the trees and grass a few feet in front of her. Beyond that, all is grey and hazy, making for an eerie environment. “Hm,” she thinks. “This might be a perfect opportunity to bolt before the Black Lotus come.” Looking beside her, the rabbit raises one eyebrow to see her spot is empty. “Berc?” Haya pushes herself off the rocky ground and starts searching the cave. “Berc, where are you?” There is no answer. “Come on, I’m not playing games.” The rabbit continues to look around for her companion. With a shout nearby and a touch of her shoulder, Haya turns around with a gasp and her katana raised. She freezes to find a half-smiling, half-laughing Berc stood before her. “Damn you, Berc! You and your blasted trickery!”\n“Sorry, Haya,” spurts Berc in between laughs. “It was a good opportunity. I had to do it.” \n“A stupid one, I’ll add.” Haya sheaths her weapon. “Let’s get going, now.”\n“What’s the rush? Can’t we have a little breakfast?”\n“No time. We have to leave before the Black Lotus get here. Now, let’s go!” Starting for the mouth, the rabbit heads outside and begins walking with the kobold following closely. \nBerc huddles his arms together in front of him as he stays close to his companion. “H-Haya… A-are you sure about this…? This is very eerie…”\n“Don’t be a chicken-bold!” She tells him. “It’s just a little fog. Besides, it’s perfect cover; the Black Lotus won’t spot us so easily. Now, keep it down and keep close if you want to stay away from them!”\n“Where are we going…? Is there another town ahead?”\nHaya pulls out the map from her side. “Hm, let’s see…”\n“Can we at least-” Berc stops and picks his head up, noticing something whoosh by before him. “Um… H-Haya… I-I think there’s something here with u-us…”\n“Don’t be such a coward. Can’t you toughen up for once in your-” When the rabbit lowers the map, she discerns a shadow before it vanishes. “Berc, I swear, stop it!” \n“What?”\n“This is not the time for another one of your tricks.”\n“U-um… H-Haya… I’m not doing that…” \nHaya faces Berc. “Berc, I swear, if you-” She pauses to see a set of four, red-glowing eyes behind the kobold disappear in one second. “I see you weren’t lying there.” She pulls out her katana and wields it. Berc turns around and slowly backs away to be beside the rabbit after something whooshes by him quickly. Haya keeps her sword raised as she scans her surroundings with the kobold staying very close to her in fear.\n“Well, well, well,” starts a feminine voice, serene yet chilling tone. “More flies have ventured into my web; unwelcomed, unwittingly. Have you come to play games? I love it when my food plays games. But, what kind are these? These are not mine.”\n“Coward!” shouts Haya into the mist. “Come out and face us like a true warrior!”\n“Hm, a warrior? Sounds delicious.” A dark figure emerges from the haze, revealing herself to be the source of the voice; a creature half spider and half anthropomorphic. Long, black hair runs on all sides of her head expect in her face. Her four eyes illuminate her facial features, red and glowing, showing the sharp fangs on either side of her mouth as she smiles. “Ah, the infamous ‘Ronin Rabbit’ and her kobold companion. Such luck of you both to walk straight into my web. You two make a great catch.”\n“U-u-um, a-a-and w-who are y-y-you?” asks Berc, trembling in fear while keeping close to Haya.\nThe spider lady smiles creepily. “They call me the Widow.” She creeps around the two on all six legs. “I am feared in every corner of the world.”\n“Not I!” Haya spurts. “You don’t scare me!”\n“Oh, that will change. Let me show you why.” The spider woman spits out a grass-colored liquid toward the two. Both Haya and Berc dodge out of the way where the liquid lands on the bark of a nearby tree, dissolving the bark and deforming it. Haya and Berc turn back to where the Widow was standing, only to see she’s vanished. Laughs from the spider witch echo in the fog. Berc motions closer to his companion. “You stand no chance against me. If you make this easy for me, I’ll gladly tell the Black Lotus not to hurt you too much.” \nThe rabbit raises her sword. “Not a chance! I take no knee to anyone! Not even to big, hairy spiders!”\n“Very well! I shall take you on!” \n“Challenge accepted.” \n“Minions, seize them!” Piercing through the fog, many little spiders scramble toward the rabbit and kobold. Haya takes care of them with her sword, slicing them in half or stabbing them, while Berc dashes for the tree, hiding in fear of the creepy crawlers. With her speed and agility, she deals with the spiders swiftly. “I am impressed. You certainly have skill with the sword. However, it will be no use to you against me!” The spider woman charges with haste from the fog at the rabbit. Haya jumps at swings her blade at her, but to no effect. The Widow charges again, using her fangs to side-swipe Haya, but the rabbit blocks her attack before the spider lady vanishes into the fog again. “There is no use evading me, Rabbit. Every dodge you make only delays your fate further!” \n“All talk and no fight,” replies Haya. “Are you even a bounty hunter?” Through the fog, a long silk-like substance shoots out, landing on the rabbit’s katana before yanking it away into the abyss. “Hey!” \n“You won’t be needing that small thing.” The spider lady makes quick charge for her, but the pink rabbit uses her speed to ascend Berc’s tree, leading the chase.\nThe rabbit looks at the kobold. “Useless chicken, you are.” Haya then takes up a big stick and faces the spider, whacking the Widow and getting a couple of hits to her face before being knocked off the branch. She is caught by the spider’s sticky web, being hung upside down.\nThe Widow approaches the inverted-hanging rabbit. “You fought well, Rabbit. Not well enough, however. You look to make a delicious meal, however.” She is interrupted when something knocks her on the head. Looking to see what it was, the spider lady then looks above her. The kobold, still suspended in the tree, throws down a couple of red fruit at her to buy time. Firing a web at the branch holding him, Berc is knocked off balance and falls off, only to be caught by the Widow’s hand grasping at his chest, suspending him above the ground. “You… I will save you for dessert.” The arachnid woman encases the kobold’s body and limbs in a cocoon of web, leaving only his head exposed. Then, she sticks him onto the tree, keeping him stationed. “Don’t worry. You won’t be forgotten, Darling. Once I’m done with your friend, you will be next.” The Widow goes to face the rabbit, only to be punched hard in the face after swinging and getting free. The spider lady hits into a tree, but soon comes to her senses and fires more webs at her. Haya bounces around to dodge, using her speed and agility to avoid getting snared. \nBerc watches on, helpless in his sticky prison as his partner evades the spider while vulnerable. He squints his eyes when a flash of light hits him in the face. Berc struggles to adjust his perception, tracing the flash to a sharp, metal object near the ground by the roots: Haya’s blade. The kobold tries to wiggle himself loose, but to no avail, nothing happens. He continues to move back and forth violently, managing to free himself from the tree, yet still trapped in his cocoon, wrapped tightly and incapacitated. It doesn’t stop him from inching over to the sword, moving in a worm-like crawl toward it. Once he reaches his partner’s weapon, the kobold tries to find a way to use it in order to free himself, but fails in every attempt. Already his wiggling had loosened him inside, allowing for his arms to move at a slow pace within the webs, feeling around his body and touching the handle of the blade he kept. Wait! The dagger from the tavern! That’s it, he thought. Berc takes the weapon from the sheath and uses it to cut the sticky string from within, then slices through and frees himself from his silky wrappings. Looking over at the battle, his expression changes to a frown from celebration, seeing the spider woman grabbing the rabbit by the arms. \n“Now, you are finished, Ronin Rabbit!” With haste, Berc rushes over, katana in his grasps, and forces it down with great speed, hacking off one of the Widow’s legs, causing her to yell with pain and drop Haya to the ground. She turns around to see the sword-wielding kobold. “You little brat!”\n“Haya!” Berc throws her the katana, to which she catches it in mid-air and attacks the Widow with it while the kobold aides her with his small dagger, slicing legs off as Haya keeps the spider lady busy. Once the arachnid woman’s down to two legs left, she stumbles to the ground, unable to stand and support her heavy abdomen with only a couple of limbs. \nThe pink rabbit stands over her alongside her kobold companion, blade at the ready. “Looks like fate has turned around for you. Time to end this!”\n“Fools!” The woman cries. “This is not over! You will not have victory over me!” She hacks up some more acid, causing both allies to back away before she uses her webs to get away, laughing manically. Once she hits the fog, her entire figure disappears. \nBerc lets out a grunt. “Man, I thought I’d never hate spiders any more than that…”\n“Berc,” Haya starts. “You just took her on with my katana, and you didn’t back down. Even when you sent my blade back, you still fought on. That was the most courageous you’ve ever been.”\nThe kobold sighs. “Haya, to be honest, I was very scared, really…”\n“You didn’t look too scared back there.”\n“I was, though… Scared of that spider lady… but also scared of losing you… I didn’t want that to happen… You’ve been there for me; always bailed me out of trouble and always helped me at my lowest… I was anything but courageous… I was lucky to have the dagger from that lizard boy, still.”\n“Perhaps your usefulness has come around. Let’s get going, shall we?”\nBerc takes another deep breath. “Uh, okay…” He starts away from the battlefield. \n“Hold up!” The kobold stops and faces the rabbit, who holds up the limbs of the enemy. “Can’t forget these, Berc; a little trophy for your victory!” Witnessing the twitchy legs causes Berc to fall over in shock and lie upon the ground, unconscious. It is now Haya’s turn to sigh. “There is much work needed with this one…”\n",

Looking over at the battle, his expression changes to a frown from celebration, seeing the spider woman grabbing the rabbit by the arms. <br />&ldquo;Now, you are finished, Ronin Rabbit!&rdquo; With haste, Berc rushes over, katana in his grasps, and forces it down with great speed, hacking off one of the Widow&rsquo;s legs, causing her to yell with pain and drop Haya to the ground. She turns around to see the sword-wielding kobold. &ldquo; You little brat!&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;Haya!&rdquo; Berc throws her the katana, to which she catches it in mid-air and attacks the Widow with it while the kobold aides her with his small dagger, slicing legs off as Haya keeps the spider lady busy. Once the arachnid woman&rsquo;s down to two legs left, she stumbles to the ground, unable to stand and support her heavy abdomen with only a couple of limbs. <br />The pink rabbit stands over her alongside her kobold companion, blade at the ready. &ldquo;Looks like fate has turned around for you. Time to end this!&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;Fools!&rdquo; The woman cries. &ldquo; This is not over! You will not have victory over me!&rdquo; She hacks up some more acid, causing both allies to back away before she uses her webs to get away, laughing manically. Once she hits the fog, her entire figure disappears. <br />Berc lets out a grunt. &ldquo;Man, I thought I&rsquo;d never hate spiders any more than that&hellip;&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;Berc,&rdquo; Haya starts. &ldquo; You just took her on with my katana, and you didn&rsquo;t back down. Even when you sent my blade back, you still fought on. That was the most courageous you&rsquo;ve ever been.&rdquo;<br />The kobold sighs. &ldquo;Haya, to be honest, I was very scared, really&hellip;&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;You didn&rsquo;t look too scared back there.&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;I was, though&hellip; Scared of that spider lady&hellip; but also scared of losing you&hellip; I didn&rsquo;t want that to happen&hellip; You&rsquo;ve been there for me; always bailed me out of trouble and always helped me at my lowest&hellip; I was anything but courageous&hellip; I was lucky to have the dagger from that lizard boy, still.&rdquo;<br />&ldquo;Perhaps your usefulness has come around. Let&rsquo;s get going, shall we?&rdquo;<br />Berc takes another deep breath. &ldquo;Uh, okay&hellip;&rdquo; He starts away from the battlefield. <br />&ldquo;Hold up!&rdquo; The kobold stops and faces the rabbit, who holds up the limbs of the enemy. &ldquo; Can&rsquo;t forget these, Berc; a little trophy for your victory!&rdquo; Witnessing the twitchy legs causes Berc to fall over in shock and lie upon the ground, unconscious. It is now Haya&rsquo;s turn to sigh. &ldquo; There is much work needed with this one&hellip;&rdquo;<br /></span>",
