They watch as the newscasters talk about the events that have happened earlier today. The anchors go on about how the school was locked down due to the extreme nature of both protest groups. Yet despite all of that, the Furton Task Force remained vigilant and promptly rescued all the children, while police dispersed the protests. Many arrests were made, and no one was hurt. \nJust as the story finishes and moves onto the next, the front door of the apartment swings open, then shuts. The gang look to see who has entered, and it’s the grey rabbit, who strips off her apron and barista hat to reveal her normal clothes. “Man, what a tough day at work,” she says. The rabbit walks over to her friends gathered in the living room area. The robot and dragon get up and run over to her, giving their hugs. “Hey! Echo, Firework, are you two okay?!” \n“Firework terrified,” Firework tells her. “So much violence.”\n“Never thought we’d get out of there,” adds Echo, blue with sadness. “The whole scene was hectic…”\n“I know,” Melissa replies. “I was watching the whole thing on one of the TVs at work. I bet it was very scary. Thankfully, Zach and his friends came and saved the day.” She looks up at the fox. “Right, Honey?”\nZach lets out a sigh. “Yeah… The task force fox saves the day again…”\nMelissa frowns, then walks over to him. “What’s the matter, Deary? Are you still thinking about that chicken from the Pawbucks? Just let it go…”\n“It’s not just that… People saw me and immediately thought of the incident that happened in the government circle.”\n“That was an accident,” Amina comments. “The news outlet even said you were exempt because it wasn’t intended.”\n“I know… but people still think I’m an awful fox… Ugh… it’s like Heroto all over again… I can just hear everyone calling me ‘Flawed Fox’ again…”\n“Hey…” Melissa sits down next to him and puts her paw on his shoulder. “Don’t think that way. We all make mistakes, and all we can do is learn from them. Don’t look at the negatives of things, either. Think positive. You saved the children from a massive violent riot, right?”\n“Y-yeah…”\n“Then, that’s all that matters. Everyone will turn around and see you as a hero again.”\n“Yeah, I guess so…”\n“Zach big hero,” Firework says, walking to the fox. “Firework happy Zach came.”\n“Me too,” adds Echo. “The other kids and we were scared… We didn’t know if those animals were going to barge in and attack… When we saw you come in, we were relieved…”\nZach manages a smile, then holds out his arms. “Come here, Kids.” The robot and dragon get closer for a hug. “I’m glad you both are all right, too. I would never forgive myself if something bad happened to you… or to Melissa and Amina.” Cotton squeaks, angered of being left out. “Oh… and Cotton, too.” Cotton smiles upon hearing him correct himself.\n“It has been pretty crazy the last couple of days,” Melissa implies. “Ever since that wolf cop shot that innocent sheep, things have spiraled out of control.”\n“People’s beliefs can be extreme,” Amina points out. “When I was with my tribe, there were strong beliefs that we were the chosen and it was our duty by the gods to purge the lands of the impure. Thankfully, I don’t share those beliefs, especially now that I’m not with them anymore…”\n“Everyone has strong opinions,” the rabbit adds. “And they tend to take to the extreme to express them. If you ask me, a lot of people are mentally crazy and you don’t know what they’ll do when they turn…”\n“Does this mean every person we encounter is dangerous?” queries Echo, turning a mixture of blue and orange. “Are we no longer safe here in Furton?”\nFirework’s ears droop. “Firework not like this…”\n“Hey…” Zach, still keeping his arms around the two, rubs their backs to comfort them. “Don’t think that… There’s still good people in the world. They’re just not so much of them than we thought. Like I’ve said before; we can’t change anything and can’t have what we want.”\n“There’s always going to be danger,” Amina adds in. “Always going to be bad people. Always going to be sin. The only thing we can do is adapt. We may have outrun our problems before, but that doesn’t mean we’re completely clear of them. We’ll have to face them eventually…”\nMelissa is next to jump into the conversation. “Okay, I feel like this conversation is causing too much distress. Why don’t we just drop all of it and have dinner? I’m thinking of ordering a pizza since I’m too tired to cook tonight.” Everyone smiles and nods in agreement. “Good! Glad to see everyone’s spirits are still intact. What kind of pizza should we order?” Everyone babbles all at once, wanting different toppings on their pizza. Some disagreeing with others, preferring their own topping. “Okay, okay, settle down. How about we just go classic pepperoni and throw in a regular cheese pie, too?” The gang then come to agreement with that. “All right, good.” Melissa gets up and goes into the kitchen. She uses her cellphone to place the order. Once the rabbit has finished with the order, she notices the fox entering the kitchen. “Hey, everything okay, Zachy?”\n“Not really sure,” he says. “With all of this craziness happening, it’s hard to think positive… Especially when many see you as a target.”\n“Hey…” The rabbit walks over to him and puts her arms around him from behind. “Don’t feel bad, Babe. You know, I’m off tomorrow. What about you?”\n“Same… Leon ordered I should take the day off for my team and I’s efforts on the rescue.”\n“Perfect! I was thinking we could head to the park and have a nice romantic outing. How does that sound?”\nZach places his paws on Melissa’s, forming a smile. “That does sound good. Been a while since we’ve been out together. What about the kids? Now that the school’s closed for a couple of days, what do we do with them? We leave them with Amina?”\n“We could. Or, we could take them with us and let them play on the playground. Everybody’s tense about the current situation, and we should all go out for a breather.”\n“Does sound nice. Yeah, okay.” \nMelissa plants a kiss on his cheek, prompting the fox to sigh and wag his tail. “Like that, don’t you?”\n“Yeah.” Zach turns around to give a peck on her lips. \n“Whoa!” Their moment is interrupted when they see the robot, followed by the dragon, in the archway of the kitchen. “Sorry, don’t mind us.” Echo smiles with the color yellow.\n“Yea,” adds Firework. “Firework and Echo get drink. Zach and Melissa not mind Firework and Echo.” The boys continue with the word. The dragon raids the fridge while Echo takes the oil can from the counter left for him. They then leave the two for their moment.\nMelissa leans closer to Zach’s ear. “How about we continue this after dinner? Later in the bedroom. I’ve got something even bigger planned, too.”\nZach’s cheeks blush bright pink. “Uh, sure.” Melissa giggles and hugs him.\n","writing_bbcode_parsed":"<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>Zach sits in the living room with the kids, Cotton, and Amina.
