How awful for them to be in this situation...</span>","writing":"Sometime before, the children of Ms. Hooter’s class enter the room and sit at their desks. They chatter amongst themselves, spreading gossip and informing each other of some of the events that have previously happened. One story includes the rumor of Zach’s handling with the government circle riots. The robot and dragon remain silent, not wanting to go into the topic further, fearful they would be outcasted again.\n“Good morning, class!” Ms. Hooters enters through the door, causing the kids to fall silent and fix their eyes on her as she makes it across to her desk. “I hope you are all prepared for today’s lesson.” She stands and positions herself in front of the board. “Now, before we begin, I ask you all to take out your notebooks. This will be very important to you.” The students take out their books and open the pages. “Now, let us talk about-” Shouting and chanting disrupt the lesson. The owl turns her head to the right to see a large crowd has gathered outside, armed with picket signs. “What in the name of…” The crowd all shout “Prey Lives Matter” as they protest in the street in front of the school. \n“What going on out there, Ms. Hooters?” asks Firework.\nEcho’s colors are orange for his curiosity. “It sounds like those animals are protesting and being defiant.”\n“Do not worry about them, children. They do not pose a threat. It’s just a peaceful protest.” Soon, another large group appears shortly after further to the side, chanting “Predators Rule.” Ms. Hooters motions to the windows and shuts the blinds. “Well, seems we’ve got some \n“Those animals part of the ‘Prey Lives Matter’ movement,” utters one child. “They’re all over the news because of the shooting of the sheep.” \n“Predators Rule’s there, too!” says another. “I bet they’re both here for the school.” The whole class then starts talking up a storm about it.\n“Children, please!” Ms. Hooters orders, causing them to cease. “Do not worry about what the group is doing out there. You all should be worried about what we’ll be doing today. “Now, as I was saying, what we’ll be doing today is-” She’s interrupted with the sounds of glass smashing. “What the?!” The owl turns her head to see a rock has crashed through her window as the shouting becomes worse.\nAnnouncements sound overhead. “Attention all students and faculty,” utters a male tone, deep to indicate his age. “Due to the recent threats of the school, we will now be entering a lockdown.” Ms. Hooters, upon hearing this, gives instructions to her students to lock the door and sit on the floor by the wall. There, they remain, quiet until the situation blows over.\nOnce Echo and Firework question the movement and events, Ms. Hooters sighs. “It’s not really a subject to talk about comfortably, but since ‘recent events’ have sprung up, I suppose you all deserve to know. You see, there many in the world who view others differently than themselves. Of course, History tends to repeat itself if we cannot learn from it. Anyway, throughout history, predators have been viewed as the dominant race among prey, enslaving and mistreating them. Times have changed throughout the years, yet there’s still tensions between both types of species.”\n“This all sounds very familiar,” Echo comments. \n“Why animals fight each other over something simple?” Firework questions.\n“Well,” Ms. Hooters continues. “People can be crazy, and many are insane enough to carry out stupid things because of what they believe in. While it may be good to stand up for the things you believe it, violence is not the way for it. There are many other ways to stand up for what you believe in.” Footsteps amble in the building, echoing throughout the halls and penetrating the walls of the classrooms. “Stay silent, children. I fear they may have entered the building.” The children all huddle in silence, hearing and feeling stomping from their room. The shouting outside starts to increase in volume as sirens sound outside. A voice on a megaphone urges the crowds to calm down and to disperse. Upon refusal, all can be heard now are glass-breaking and loud thuds. The class continue in their positions as the chaos unfolds. More windows get smashed as rocks fly through.\nAfter over forty minutes of this banter, the announcements come back to life. “Attention all students and staff. With the horrible situation, we will begin to evacuate everyone. Please remain in your rooms until help comes.” Now, all everyone could do is stay in place and stay quiet.\nEcho, blue in mood and color, turns to a shaky dragon, whose ears are drooped. He places his hand on Firework’s back. “You okay, Buddy?”\n“Firework not,” Firework tells him. “Firework want go home…”\n“I know you do, but we have to wait…” The robot wraps his arms around him in an attempt that a hug will give more comfort. “We’ll be all right, Firework.” \nThe next thing the children hear are the sounds of multiple footsteps, nearly rushing down the hall and making it up to the door of the room. With a couple of clicks, the door becomes unlocked and the knob begins to turn. Ms. Hooters and the children remain where they are, anxious as to what will emerge from the other side. The teacher readies herself, grabbing a pencil from the floor, so she can defend her class. Once the door opens, she raises her guard when seeing the unknown intruder, only to relax when it’s the orange fox with the blue bandana. \n“Zach!” Echo and Firework shout, getting up, then running over to him to give him a hug. \n“Whoa!” Zach lowers his staff, and embraces the hug. “Hey, kids. You two all right?” Both the robot and dragon nod. \n“Hey.” One of the kids point at Zach. “Isn’t that the fox who provoked the government square riots?” \nZach’s comfortability drops, yet he ignores the question. He turns to the group. “How is everyone? Doing okay?” The little ones reply that they’re scared, yet have no injuries. The rest of Zach’s team enters the room and examines, checking on the children. “All right, let’s get you all out of here.” He turns to Kenny and Rachael. “Kenny, Rachael, can you two check on the other rooms and see if anyone else is okay? Ralph and I will be in the cafeteria with the groups we secure.” The koala and raccoon nod and head off. Zach faces the dragon and robot. “Come on, let’s get you and your classmates out of here.” He and the rabbit lead Ms. Hooters and her class out of the room. \n\n","writing_bbcode_parsed":"<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>Sometime before, the children of Ms. Hooter&rsquo;s class enter the room and sit at their desks.
