Friendships, love, and careers have all been developed in a short amount of time. Yes, it seems as if the friends have finally found their happiness. However, nothing is forever as constant threats still linger around. Let’s see how our characters manage those new situations.\nZach and his crew settle down in a nice, fancy restaurant. With the week done, the friends finally have some time together and a means to relax. The gang all chat amongst each other as they wait for their food to arrive. Upon waiting, Zach and Melissa cling their glasses containing a dark red liquid and down them at the same time.\nFirework tilts his head sideways. “What Zach and Melissa drinking?”\n“Ah, it’s Rose 630,” Echo says. Firework turns to him with one eye narrowed. “Rose 630 is a type of red wine, of course.”\n“Wine?” repeats Firework. Echo explains to him it’s a fancy beverage. The dragon faces the rabbit and fox. “Can Firework try?”\n“Sorry, Firework,” Melissa tells him. “You’re not allowed.” Firework’s ears droop and he asks why in a saddened tone. “You’re too young. You can’t have any unless you’re older.”\n“Besides, it has alcohol in it,” adds Zach. “Drinking too much alcohol can have serious repercussions.”\n“Like what?” asks Firework.\n“Consequences of overconsumption of alcohol,” starts Echo, displaying the scenario on his stomach screen. “The long-term health risks with excessive alcohol use can lead to the development of chronic diseases and other serious problems including: high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, liver disease, digestive problems, and of course, cancer.”\nThe dragon turns back to the robot. “Firework can get all those?”\n“That’s if you drink a lot and become addicted to it,” Melissa confirms.\n“Then why Zach and Melissa drink?”\n“Because we can, and we’re responsible enough to limit how much we drink. Better that you don’t drink, anyway. Getting drunk is no fun.”\n“My wine would probably be better,” Amina adds. “I learned how to make it myself, and it’s pretty good. I can try and make it again.” \nZach stands. “I’ll be back… Just have to use the boy’s room.” The fox weaves his way through the maze of tables and avoids patrons as they zoom past him. It takes him about a minute and a half to do his business before emerging from the bathroom. Just as he’s shut the door behind him, he turns and starts his way back, only to be interrupted by something opaque. The fox is knocked back lightly, then looks to see what he’s bumped into: A white-feathered chicken stands in front of him, who holds their head. “Oh dear… I’m so sorry, Ma’am… I didn’t mean to-”\n“Watch where you’re going!” she utters. “Filthy predator!”\nZach freezes with shock, then raises his paws in the air. “Whoa, easy there, Miss… It was just an accident… I’m sorry…”\n“You should be! Your kind is nothing but trouble; going after innocent animals like me!”\n“W-what…? All I did was bump into you on accident… and again, I apologize for it.”\n“You did it deliberately! You planned on coming out of the bathroom to attack me! You predators are always stalking on unlucky victims!”\n“Look, I don’t want trouble, Miss. So, I’m just going to leave and-”\n“So, you can tell your predator friends about me? Yeah, go ahead. Scout for them.”\n“Winnie,” calls out a rooster from nearby, approaching the two animals. “What’s the matter? You okay?”\n“Yeah, I’m fine.” The chicken crosses her arms in front of her bust as she looks at Zach. “Until this fox showed up and started preying on me.”\n“That’s not what happened,” Zach explains. “I was just coming out from the bathroom and I accidentally bumped into her. I apologized for it, too…”\n“Save your apologies for the judge, Fox boy!”\n“Winifred,” the rooster interrupts. “Calm down. There’s no reason to make a scene… Let’s just go back to the table, okay?”\nThe chicken sighs. “Yeah, okay.” She walks back with the rooster. Zach stares at the two for a few seconds before heading back to his seat.\nMelissa pulls away from her conversation with Amina upon noticing the fox sit down. “Zach, what happened up there?”\nThe fox looks away once everyone’s eyes focus on him. “It’s nothing… Just got held up…”\n“With that chicken?” Amina asks. “Seems you had an alteration with her.” Zach faces her. “We can hear you from across the way, yes.”\n“What did that bird want?” asks Melissa. “Was she a fan of the task force?”\nZach sighs. “No… She accused me of bumping into her, even though it was an accident. She wouldn’t stop with it, stating that a predator like me was trouble.”\nAmina narrows one eye. “She accused you of hunting her? That doesn’t sound right. Perhaps she’s one of those prejudice types.”\n“Like hyena?” Firework queries.\n“Huh?” Echo’s colors are orange, questioning what Firework means. Then, he changes to cyan to realize what the dragon has said. “Oh! Melissa’s old bully we encountered at the park in Buscity?”\n“Of course,” Melissa spurts. “I remember that… Zach, pay no attention to that chicken. She has no idea what she’s talking about. Don’t worry about it.”\n“I’m not worried,” Zach tells her. “I’ve had it rough most of my life; I’m used to it. I’m just going to let it go.”\nFirework looks up to him. “How can Zach let go something easily?” \n“Because it’s not worth the trouble. Some things you just have to let go and move on, otherwise you’ll face the consequences. Besides, there will always be people like that chicken who will judge others based on appearance and be bias. You can’t let those kinds of people get to you.” Just as he finishes, the waiter arrives, armed with plates of food that he places in front of everyone before disappearing.\n“All right, enough talk,” Amina utters. “Let us eat, drink, and be merry, shall we?” Everyone else concurs and starts digging into their meals. Zach hesitates for a minute before he shovels food into his mouth and chews.\n","writing_bbcode_parsed":"<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>Time has gone by for Zach and the gang, as they have adjusted to their new lives in Furton.
