Yes, its a strange addiction but I feel she's doing this because she's trying to refer back to a time where she was innocent and happy. It made me think of my character's backstory, who didnt really get any form of love and it made me think: "What if Zach dressed and started acting like a baby as a means to refer back to a time he was younger."

To the point: Zach the Riolu never got any kind of love growing older in his universe so he's dressed as a baby and acts like one because he's trying to seek comfort by refering back to a time where he was innocent and shut the world out.

I've taken psyhology classes and I wonder why people have strange kinks, addictions, etc. Did they have trauma earlier in life? Is this comforting to them to cope with reality?

Look at it this way as well, we are all childish and babyish too. We're fascinated by cartoons, we play video games, buy toys. What does that tell you about all of us?

Also, I bet all of you have something as an escape from reality because, let's be honest, reality sucks. We need something to comfort us.
