A toast is raised in honor of Zach, his friends, Ralph, Capital Corp, the Furton Task Force, and Igor for the defense of the city from the imp invasion. Many drink their coffee, tea, or other type of beverage to that honor and discuss it even further.\n“I’d like to propose another toast,” Jack begins, raising his coffee up. A couple of people ask to whom they’re toasting to. “Why, to Zach, of course; always thinking of others and being there for his friends and family.” The jackalope fixes his gaze to the orange fox. “Zach, when you first came to Buscity, I was skeptical at first of your intentions. However, after time, I’ve come to appreciate all you’ve done. And so, I thank you for my daughter, ensuring she’s happy and always being cared for.” \nZach’s eyes become watery as a smile inhabits his face. “Thank you, Jack. That’s so kind of you.” \n“Aw.” Melissa stands next to her boyfriend and rubs his back. “Dad, you’re so thoughtful.”\n“Melissa, I’m happy for you and Zach. Why, if your mother was here, she’d be proud, too, and of all you’ve accomplished.” \n“Firework and Echo happy, too,” Firework utters. “Firework and Echo glad to be among friends.”\n“Hey, Firework,” interrupts Candy. The grey dragon turns to her. “You were really brave back at the stadium.” Firework thanks her for the comment. “I’d like to give you a little something for your courage.”\n“What Candy give Firework?” The pink dragon grabs him by the shoulders, pulls herself forward toward him, and presses her lips against his. The audience give out a long “aw” before she pulls away. Her cheeks become red as Firework’s turn pink. The grey dragon’s wings droop, as well as his ears, as he’s shocked and frozen. “Um… Whoa…”\nEcho gives a chuckle, green with a smile. “Does Candy taste sweet?” Firework looks at him and pouts. Eyes halfway closed to show no amusement to the joke. Echo continues to giggle until being interrupted by a tap on his shoulder. He stops, turns orange, then turns to where he was tapped to see Cat standing beside him. “Oh, what’s up, Cat?”\n“I want to give you my appreciation for your bravery, too,” she says.\n“Oh? What kind of-” Echo’s interrupted with a peck from her lips to his mouth, with a spark of electricity appearing above their heads to show that connection. Echo’s colors quickly change to a pink color as his eyes move toward each other and up, showing himself to be a bit “dazed” from Cat’s affection. “Oh… m-my circuits…” Everyone laughs from his funny, yet cute reaction.\nAmina looks at both the dragon and robot. “Guess now we can say you two finally have girlfriends, right?” The boys both blush while the girls giggle and hug them.\n“It won’t be bad for you,” Nerelia points out, getting next to Amina and putting an arm around her. “If you just accept it and let it settle in, it can blossom into something beautiful.”\n“Like a flower in the forest,” Amina adds. The squirrel smiles. \n“Too bad my love went away,” Ralph comments. “I feel like that’ll not happen for a long, long time.”\n“Don’t think that way.” Zach walks up to him. “You just need some time to move on and find someone else. It’s happened to me, so it can happen to you.”\nRalph’s face turns from sadness to surprise. “You liked someone before Melissa?”\nZach nods. “Cindy the Sheep from Team Rescuers… I really liked her, but she didn’t feel the same for me… She rejected me, and the way she did it was very harsh. I felt like my heart would never find that kind of love… until I met Melissa. Ever since, I’ve hardly ever thought about Cindy.”\n“Doesn’t hurt you?”\n“Not anymore. Because I found someone better than Cindy ever would be.”\nMelissa gets back to Zach’s side. “Speaking of which, I wonder what’s going on with Team Rescue-jerks after all that’s happened…”\n“Oh, Mayor Eagle’s started an investigation into it. Leon told me.”\n“I’ll gladly let you guys know any updates, too,” states Leon. \nHayley flies beside the imp. “Hey, how come you decided to help defeat the demons? I thought you were one of them.” Gizmo ponders the same question. His finger touches the bottom of his face screen.\n“I am an imp,” Igor says. “I could’ve sided with them, but I didn’t. You’re welcome on that, Bat Kid.”\n“But why? What was your reason? You like it better up here?”\n“Eh, guess you can say that.” The imp kicks his feet up on the table and crosses his arms behind his head. “It’s not exactly home, but I’ll get used to it. Probably stick around you mortals a bit longer and see what happens.”\n“As long as you don’t cause any trouble,” Melissa tells him.\n“What? Since when?”\n“Since you live under our roof.”\n“Not likely, Honey. Probably best for me to find somewhere else if that’s the case.”\nRalph comes up to him. “You can live with me if you’d like. I don’t mind the company, and I’ve got plenty of room at my pad.”\n“Not if they’re rules, I won’t.”\n“Just a few. Nothing too big.”\nIgor gives a smile. “Perhaps, Rabbit. Perhaps… I’ll give it some thought.”\n“I actually like this demon already,” comments Bella. \n“He reminds me of you,” Roger tells her. “And your attitude. Least I don’t look like a thief! It’s no wonder people look at you funny.” The bat and raccoon go back and forth with insults and rough jokes.\n“Now, that’s entertainment,” Igor utters. He continues watching the two bicker as everyone else chats with each other. The imp then leans back, still relaxed in his position. “I’m going to like it more here.” Zach and Melissa share a romantic moment with a hug as Echo and Firework talk with their female counterparts.
