People push and shove each other, trying to get into the gates and be the first ones in the stadium. However, the game doesn’t start until a little bit later, giving everyone plenty of time to kill. Shops, food counters, and stalls welcome any fan to view what they have to offer. Many walk away wearing T-shirts, caps, and other clothing with the team on them, greasy foods, like hot dogs and burgers, emitting aromas throughout the halls, and some other merchandises to show off their devoutness to the team who owns the stadium. \nZach and his friends plow their way through crowds as they make it to their outside to their seats; they are positioned nearest to the ground level next to the Fireflies’ dugout, close to first base. Their many friends meet with them around their area; Ralph, Tara, Karma, Podcat, Jack, Capital Corp, Cat, Candy, Hayley, Gizmo, Nerelia, Preston, and Hammy. All wear some forms of clothing with the Furton Fireflies logo on them; a giant firefly with a thumbs up in a center circle with the team’s name around the inner lines of the ring. The kids don t-shirts and caps as they sit together in one row with Igor being amongst them as the adults sit behind them, keeping an eye on them and the field. \nAs the gang gets comfy, the announcer appears on the field with the Fireflies and the opposing team, the Roaches. With the introduction and welcoming speech done, it is then time for the anthem of the city to commence. The entire audience stand and ready themselves as the guest singer comes up and projects their voice with the city’s anthem. As the vocalist closes with the final notes, they are drowned out with the loud applaud from the crowd. After everyone sits back down, and the first pitch gets tossed, the teams come out into the field and begin the game. \nMelissa spots the jaguar up at the pitcher’s mound and points. “That’s him. That’s Jammie.”\n“My god,” Jack comments. “Jammie from your class? Never thought he become an athlete. Now, he’s the pitcher of the Furton Fireflies… How about that.” \nEveryone continues watching as the game progresses, cheering and rooting on. During the top of the first inning, one strikeout happens, a man gets sent to first base after a hit down the middle, the third batter’s out once the ball is caught from flight, and the fourth one’s hit sends the players running to occupy first and second base. With the fifth batter, Jammie’s pitches send him back to the dugout with the rest of the team. \n“What’s happening?” Igor starts. “That it? What a waste of time… You people build big stadiums to see short games?”\n“It’s only the bottom of the first inning,” Echo tells him. “It’s now the Fireflies’ turn to bat. After three outs, the next team goes up to bat and the other takes the field. They continue this back and forth for nine innings.”\n“Nine innings?! Okay, now that’s quite lengthy. I can see this game getting boring.” Just as the first batter comes up to the plate and the pitcher’s about to throw the ball, the ground starts to quake. The vibrations travel throughout the entire stadium.\n“What happening?!” spurts Firework. The Earth begins to give way, creating a crack into the soil of the field. Out of the fault, small, red figures fly out and land on the grass. \n“Huh, looks like my buddies have taken the field,” says Igor. Panic shrouds the audience as the demons start attacking the players and people. As a couple approach the gang, Zach and Ralph ready their staffs and whack them away. Capital Corp aide them in the keeping the winged-creatures away from the kids and their friends. \n“It’s an invasion of the netherworld!” shouts Hayley. \nRalph, after helping defend the gang, radios in the task force. Leon, over the comms, states he’s on his way. Ralph then jumps the seats and makes it onto the field. He faces the fox. “Just called Lionheart. Let’s hold off these red bat things until he and the others get here!” Zach hops over to join him.\n“Zach, what are you doing?!” Melissa spurts.\nZach stops and turns to her. “I’ll be okay, Honey. You and everyone get to safety! Ralph and I will handle the demons! Capital Corp, help everyone get out!” The four animals nod to him.\n“I’m staying here!” Igor puts his feet up on the rail. “This is entertaining.” \n“Um, okay then,” says Zach. “Let’s go!” The fox and rabbit rush into battle and swing at the hellish creatures. They fend them off the players and start attacking a few more, prompting the ones assaulting the audience to turn and go for the defenders. Zach and Ralph are successful in taking on the first and second wave of invaders, working together, side-by-side. Many are knocked out and fall to their might. However, the crack opens wider, sending more imps out to strike. The two partners dodge and swing at them, but not without taking a few scratches to the face and torso by their enemy. Becoming surrounded by the demons, the two stand back-to-back in an effort to plan their next action. That’s when the circle is broken up by the grey dragon’s blaze. With shock amongst the red creatures, Amina comes in to strike with her bow and arrows. Each hit causes the demons to disappear. The grey rabbit sneaks up behind two unsuspecting demons and knocks them out by butting their heads together. With some demons charging toward Echo, the robot uses his screens to play a hypnotic video, getting them to stop and freeze, while Firework pushes them away with his wings. Their efforts only delay the invasion further as more fly out from the fault. As the next wave comes, Capital Corp and Leon come to the aide. Now, with a bigger group, the friends are more eager to fend off the imp invasion. More fall to their superiority, as many knocked-out demons scatter all over the field. Zach and Ralph use their staffs together as they charge beside each other to make a propeller effect and sweep the field with the invaders. Leon, along with other fighters, protect them from any incoming attacks. Melissa and Amina’s moves send many others into the stands, and the children’s crazy ideas get the demons to submit with Capital Corp helping them. Now, helplessly restrained, they struggle within the tightening traps. “We will rule this plane, and nothing shall ever stand in our way! We are the most powerful beings in the entire-” He’s interrupted with a leg extending to the spot between his limbs below. “Oooh!” As he reaches and covers the area, kneeling onto his shins, he turns to see his attacker and becomes shocked. “Igor?!”\n“I’ve always wanted to do that!” Igor smiles.\n“How dare you! Do this to your own king?!”\n“That’s for being a hypocrite!” Igor tights his claws into a fist and swings it at the suited demon’s face. “This is for throwing me out of the netherworld!” He throws another punch to his gut. “This is for all my new friends!” Igor then grabs his face and readies his claw. “And this, is for me!” He sinks the sharp talons into the suited demon’s neck, causing the tentacles release the gang, dropping them onto the ground. Upon release, the tall, hellish creature collapses to his claws and knees, coughing. \n“How… How could you?! Side with these mortals?!”\n“These mortals looked after me! After all you and the others did, you’re no king to me!” Igor kicks the king hard enough to send him over the edge and down into the hole. All the imps have awakened and are already on their way to the crack, flying down and retreating as their leader has literally fallen.
