", "writing": "The Leafy Creek marketplace is bustling today, as local pokemon enjoy the celebrations of today, as it’s their annual festival day. Many cheer with joy winning the games or riding larger pokemon as a means of amusement. We find our three protagonists roaming about the fairgrounds, delighted for the games and rides all around them. It’s as if their inner child selves have sprouted from within, prompting and forcing them to partake in the festivities. Thus, it gives them an opportunity to be friendly with the townsfolk and introduce themselves as an adventure team. \n“That was so much fun!” Nate utters with glee, wagging his tail rapidly. “What shall we do next? I’m eyeing up the boat ride! Benny, come join me.”\n“Why don’t we take a rest,” Benny spurts. “We’ve been here all day, and I’m growing a bit tired.”\n“Okay. I’ll be right back, though. Have to drain the old fluid sac.” The fennekin goes off and disappears into the crowd.\n“He sure wants you, Benny,” Zach comments. “Definitely has the hots, as well.” Benny quickly turns to him and asks what he means. “Come on. I saw the way he cuddled up close to you on the spinning ride, as well as holding your paw on that large tour pokemon. And, let’s not forget he won you a big plush toy.”\n“Oh, shut up,” lashes the buneary, looking away. “He’s just being very friendly, that’s all.”\n“Then, why are you blushing?” Zach teases, smiling. Benny continues to hide herself. “If anything, I think it’s pretty sweet. You two should go out more.”\n“Gee, I don’t know, Zach… I only view him as a friend. Besides, don’t you think it’s weird to date one of your own teammates?”\n“I don’t see why not. Unless, there’s another pokemon you take a liking to.”\n“Zach, let’s not talk about this, okay? I don’t know if I feel-” Their conversation is interrupted when Nate hits the ground near them after being tossed. They huddle around the fennekin to see if he’s okay. Pushing through the overlooking crowd, two pokemon emerge and eye the three team members; the ghost bandits.\nGas shoots a mean look at the pokemon. “There you are! You’ll pay for what you did to my father, you freaks!”\n“Let’s teach them a little lesson, shall we, Gas?” Gem suggests. “Teach them what it’s like to mess with our family.” Gas beams his confuse ray toward the friends, but they quickly dash out of the way to avoid it. Benny immediately goes for a quick attack on the gastly, but she’s knocked away by the sableye’s shadow claw. As Gem prepares to strike her again with her talons, Zach flies in with a drop kick against Gem’s face, then swings his fist at Gas, socking him in the jaw. Both ghost bandits are pushed back, but soon get back up fast. Benny is quicker, however; using dizzy punch to throw them off guard and split them apart. Gas heads for Benny with his tongue, ready to lick her. However, he’s prevented by Nate with his flamethrower. \n“You’re not licking my girl, Ghost Boy.” The fennekin pushes him back with his howl next to the sableye. Zach charges toward the ghost pokemon and prepares his metal claw move. Both Gem and Gas fire their shadow balls at the riolu, sending him flying into some bushes with black flowers. Benny and Nate stand side-by-side, ready to take on the duo as they charge toward them. The ghost pokemon are halfway to them when a water jet and flames hit them from afar. When they look to see where the attacks came from, they notice the town’s hero group gather in front of Benny and Nate. Outnumbered, the two bandits only choice is to flee the scene. The buizel, along with the monferno, eevee, and scraggy, chase after them as ordered by the mew. \nGar Gar approaches the buneary and fennekin. “Don’t worry. Team Rescuers are here to make sure all is good.” He fixes his eyes on Benny. “Well, hello there, Benny the brewer.” He smiles. “I hear you’re part of an adventure team now. You ever get some free time on your paws? Perhaps you can enjoy it with me.” Nate growls, unpleased with his gesture towards the buneary.\nCindy floats over to the riolu and helps him up. “You okay there, Riolu?” \nZach stares into the celebi’s eyes for a brief moment before speaking. “Better now… Thanks…”\n“No problem,” she says. “You’re not hurt, are you?”\n“I feel no pain… But, I think I feel my heart rushing…”\n“Cindy, Gar Gar!” calls Ezma. “Go around and assess the state of the fair.” The celebi does as she’s ordered. Zach joins up with Benny and Nate as Ezma turns back to them. “Oh, it’s you three… Now, what’s the big trouble this time?”\n“Those two bandits attacked us!” Benny states. “We had to fight back against them.\n“Yeah!” Nate cries. “It was all in self-defense!”\n“The ghost bandits started all this? Seems they’re starting to become more violent with their plots. You watch yourself now, okay?” She floats away and regroups with the gligar and celebi. \nZach keeps his eyes on the celebi as she flies around the grounds. “Wow, that celebi is so pretty… So cute and heavenly-sounding… I wonder if she’d go out with me…”\nBenny joins him by his side. “Don’t get your hopes up with her, Lover Boy.
