The harmony is interrupted by shouting in the background as a blue-eyed fennekin with a clementine-colored bandana sprints through, passed the trunks. The fire pokemon quickly hides within one of the shrubs.\n“We know you’re around here, Fennekin!” shouts a female voice. “There’s no escaping us!” Appearing in the shadow of the tree closest is a sableye with a maroon bow by her ear atop of her head. “Where are you?” She scans the area, combing it for the fire fox.\n“I don’t see him, Gem,” a voice sounds, male in tone. Another purple pokemon appears, ghostly in view; a gastly. He wears a green bowtie under his mouth. “Looks like he got away.”\n“Damn!” The sableye kicks the bushes across from the fennekin’s. “He’s not going to escape that easily!” She turns to the ghost pokemon. “Gas, go near the berry fields and see if he’s over there! I’ll look around here for him.”\n“You’ve got it!” The gastly floats off while the sableye continues to scan for her prey. She leaves the surrounding area, giving relief to the fox as he remains hidden in the shrubs. \nHe backs out and lets out a big sigh. “That was close.” As the fox turns, he stops to see the scenery: A fairly big lake the size of a baseball field. A roaring waterfall can be seen in the background of a rocky plateau with a small fruit tree beside the clear water. “Whoa,” the fennekin utters. “Such a beautiful place.” When he walks up to the landscape, he notices something in the corner of his eye. The fox turns and sees what it is: a riolu lies motionless beside the water with a cobalt bandana around its neck. The fennekin lets out a gasp. “Oh my Arceus!” He runs toward the unconscious pokemon, then lays his paws on it, nudging the creature. “Hey, are you okay?!” The riolu murmurs a groan before its sound ceases, prompting the fire pokemon to nudge the jackal again, but harder. “I said are you okay?! Wake up!” \n“Oh my head…” the riolu says a boyish voice, coming from a riolu as he holds his head with his paw. When he gets within range, the blue pokemon socks the ghost-type with his fist, knocking him back. The gastly shakes his head and goes to attack the riolu with a ray of light. The jackal pokemon darts toward the gastly again, only to be licked with its tongue. \n“Ugh!” The riolu pauses, but manages to continue toward the purple pokemon, who then uses his tongue to attack him.
