"writing": "With their new friends, Echo and Firework start to enjoy camp a little bit better. When the four are not doing activities or learning how to camp and gain skills, they usually hang out by the lake and discuss their experiences of camp. Sometimes, they bring up talks of home and what they do prior from being at Divine Pines. \nToday, the four friends are having lunch by the lake after a rough morning of learning how to tie ropes and gaining knowledge on foods they could eat in the wilderness. They discuss the challenges they had to face while trying to do such tasks. Little do they know there are four more kids approaching them from behind from the shrubs.\n“Well, look what we have here,” says one of the kids. The four friends turn around and see it’s the rat pack. “If it isn’t the tin boy and the horned bat,” says Rodney. “And it looks like they’ve got two more for us to straighten out.”\n“Firework and friends not do anything to rats,” Firework tells him. “Leave Firework and friends alone.”\nEcho puts his hand on the dragon’s arm, blue with color. “Firework, don’t. Just ignore them, and they’ll leave us alone.” \n“We’re not going anywhere,” states Larry. “We have unfinished business with you lot.”\nNectar looks to them. “Unfinished business? What do you mean by that?” \n“We never properly ‘welcomed’ you to the camp. After all, we give all our newest campers a big warm ‘welcome’.”\n“I-I don’t like the sound of that,” Cyan utters. He backs behind his friends. “I don’t like the sound of that at all…”\n“Afraid?” asks Carl. “Good, you should be.” He pounds his fist in his paw and grits his teeth. “I’m going to so enjoy this.”\n“Fellas, listen,” Echo starts, standing in front of his group. “We’re no trouble to you. We’re just going about our business and we’d like to ensure there’s peace between us. So please, be kind, be merciful, be forgiving. And if you allow yourselves to be just this, we can achieve better friendship.”\n“Perhaps you’re right, Metal Man,” Rodney claims. He steps forward to the robot. “Maybe we have been a couple of butts.” The rat extends his arm and has his paw pointed at him. “How about it then?”\nEcho changes green and manages a smile. “I’m glad you’ve chosen to go this route, Good Rodney.” The robot goes to shake his paw. “This is a wonderful start to our-” Upon grabbing his paw, he feels a jolt of electricity surge his entire metal body. “EEE!” Once Rodney lets go, Echo’s lights shut off and he stumbles back. The rat pack all laugh at his misfortune.\nFirework quickly kneels to him, as well as Nectar and Cyan. The robot’s lights turn back on. “Echo! Echo okay?!”\nEcho struggles to speak. “M-my… My… circuits…” He is helped up by his friends. Looking at the laughing rodents, he changes to red and becomes angered. “That was uncalled for!”\n“Oh, my bad,” jokes Rodney. “I forgot to tell you that I give people quite a ‘shock’ with handshakes.”\nEcho ambles toward the rat. “Listen here. Just because you and your friends have more skill and are better adapted than us, doesn’t mean you should just push people around due to their-” A sudden blow has damaged him in his stomach screen area. The robot grudges at the spot where he took the injury as a second hit strikes him in the head, causing him to be knocked back. Rodney shakes off his fist as Echo’s concerned friends surround him. “Oh… dear…”\nFirework, having had enough of it, steps in front of the group next with clenched eyes and fists. “How dare rat pack hurt Firework’s friend. Rat pack not nice!”\n“Can it, Pipsqueak,” Barry orders. “Your annoying voice doesn’t bother us.”\n“Firework don’t take kindly to those who harm Firework’s friends! Rat pack must leave Firework and friends alone!”\n“Or else what?” challenges Carl. “You going to squeak us to death?” The others snicker. “You sound like a squeaky toy.” \nFirework takes a deep breath in and exhales fire from his mouth, forcing the boys to back up a bit. “Rat pack back off! Now!” The rodents do as they’re told and vacate the area. The dragon turns to his friend. “Echo okay?”\nNectar turns to shock. “Firework, look out!” The dragon turns, but it’s too late. The beaver pounces on Firework’s back and clings tightly as the grey dragon struggles to get him off. Barry scratches and digs his teeth all over the dragon as he scuffles to get the furry rodent off of him. Soon, Firework tosses the beaver off and stands his ground with wings outward. The others have soon joined Barry, only in desire in helping hurt the four friends.\nNectar flies in front of the dragon. “Back off!” He arms his stinger and inches close to the rat pack. “Get out of here!” \nCyan helps too, armed with a thick stick. “Get away from us!” His shouting and stick-swinging, as well as Nectar’s, attracts unwanted attention, causing the rodents to finally scatter and leave. The blue mouse turns to the dragon. “Firework, you okay? That was rough…”\n“Firework, okay,” the dragon says, seeing the blood on his paw from his scratch wounds. “Beaver hurt Firework bad…”\nNectar aids Echo in standing. “You look damaged. How are you doing?”\n“I’m okay,” Echo responds. “Just a little bit banged up…”\n“We should get you both to the medical tent.”\n“No, it’s okay,” Echo claims. “I can repair myself with no problem.”\n“And Firework fine,” adds Firework. “Firework crash lands with every failed flying attempt. Firework used to getting hurt.”\n“That was good, though,” Cyan says. “You two took on those nasty rodents. Nobody has ever stood up to them before.”\nEcho smiles, changing green. “You know, we’re not the only ones who stood up to them. You and Nectar took our side and made a stand, too.”\n“We were trying to protect you. But, thanks. Let’s get you two to the nurse, shall we?” The robot and dragon tail the bee and mouse as they make their way to the medical hut. Neither of the four really spoke of the incident too much to anybody else, other than to the nurse, and then eventually to Scoutmaster Buck. All the two could really do was say to stay away from the four boys and just move on. Not really too much help from the adults, so the kids will have to solve these issues on their own, as they have done previously. Not that that’s anything new to either of them, so they just brush it off and press on. \n",
