Not major changes, but just enough for Zach to continue his career without distress or anxiety. He and Betty have gathered with the other circus pokemon to discuss the recent events and the effect it has had on the riolu. Even though they’re not too fond of Zach, they had agreed to follow these inquiries on behalf of Betty, who was able to persuade them in the decision-making process. So, Ringmaster Raichu has decided to treat the riolu more fairly and allow him to cease the accident stunts he had assigned Zach previously. The other pokemon have also gone ahead to be nicer and friendlier towards the jackal pokemon, even allowing him to collab with their tricks and abilities. From this, Zach has learned to be more acrobatic, agile, swift, and better-timing. He even learned how to use his abilities effectively when performing with the others. Within a few weeks of his improvements, he and Betty share the spotlight as the best two pokemon of the show, as well as sharing their attention with their colleagues. Life’s become a bit better for the riolu… until now.\nZach, Betty, and their fellow teammates stand around the outside, discussing their ideas for the next show. They each collaborate on their thoughts and adding to them, thinking of ways they could attract more pokemon to their circus. Zach takes notice of the pokemon coming into his view, causing his smile to disappear. It’s Team Rescuers, and they’ve come to see the riolu after hearing about his work. \n“Well, well, well,” Jay starts, crossing his arms. “If it isn’t the ‘Rambunctious Riolu’? I see you’re on ‘Team Circus Freaks’ now.” He and the others chuckle. Ezma orders him to silence, as well as the others. \n“I see you’re doing well as a circus performer,” Cindy says. “Surprised you didn’t come crawling back to us like we’d hope.”\n“Why are you here?” asks the riolu. “What do you want?”\n“Can’t we stop and say ‘hello’ to the biggest star of Ringmaster Raichu’s Big Top?” Gar Gar utters. “After all, you’ve made quite a name for yourself in the show.”\nZach crosses his arms. “Of course, I have. Why do you think I was trying to raise you the way I wanted you to be?”\n“Because you are stubborn! You have no heart and you definitely never listened to what I wanted. You and all of Team Rescuers.”\n“Yeah, sure, okay… I’m stubborn… Listen, I was doing this for the good of all pokemon, especially in your case, and this is not what I expected of you at all. I wanted to show you what life is like and that you can have a happier life.”\n“What if it doesn’t make me happy? What if it only makes you happy?”\n“You think I’m doing this to make me happy? Well, I’m not happy! I could’ve left you in that bin and chose not to take you in, but I didn’t!
