Everybody seemed to love Zach’s new stunt and has found it to be very funny. You would think this is better for him, now that he’s becoming a star and making pokemon laugh. That he’s moving on and making a name for himself in the town. Well, everything has not worked out in the way the riolu hoped it would… After his little “accident” and being marked as the “Rambunctious Riolu,” Zach began to despise his new life. Ringmaster Raichu had liked his little “stunt” so much that he ordered Zach to repeat the act for every show; having him chased by the mammoswine, tossed around in the air with the trapezes, bounce on the net and twirled by Betty, and thrown into a vat of pie filling. The audience would laugh and laugh at the poor riolu as he became unfortunate every time. And to keep the crowd demanding more and not grow bored, the ringmaster would reorganize Zach’s original accident display with different feats such as lighting him on fire, firing him in the air, having him land into a diaper to wear it, and other demoralizing things. Zach would soon come to hate his life and his new purpose, despite growing in success.\nBetty moves down the row of huts at night, wishing all of her fellow workers “goodnight” and waving at them. When she comes to Zach’s hut, she stops and sees him outside, talking with Ringmaster Raichu. The electric pokemon congratulates him on another show done, even saying the riolu will make it far if he continues to do what he’s doing. Zach doesn’t respond, yet Ringmaster Raichu assures him he’ll be all right. The rat heads off and leaves the riolu to enter his dwelling. The brionne heads up and tails the jackal pokemon, going in after him. She finds the riolu hunched over at a table with his paws leaning against it as if staring down at something on the surface. \n“So,” calls the water pokemon. Zach turns around quickly to see her before him. “Ringmaster Raichu’s making you the top star of the circus, huh?” From the tone of her voice, she doesn’t seem pleased. Zach gets up from the table. “Seems your act is attracting a lot of attention, and taking it away from the rest of us…”\n“Yeah, about that,” Zach begins. “I wanted to talk to Ringmaster Raichu about the stunts I was doing… I wanted to-”\n“Oh, yeah, sure,” the brionne interrupts. “And while you’re at it, why don’t you tell him to make us as your backups so you can be the leader, huh?”\n“W-what? That’s not what I meant… I just-”\n“Of course, it isn’t. You just want all the glory for yourself. Everything was fine and then you show up and join us. Now, you’re the main attraction! The Rambunctious Riolu, now performing at Ringmaster Raichu’s Big Top! You must really like to ruin pokemon, like you did with Team Rescuers.” Zach’s frown twitches and his eye pupils enlarge. As Betty goes on to call him out and how “big of a star” he is, tears start to form, rolling down his cheeks. He collapses to his knees as his paws raise close to his face. The brionne takes notice of him and pauses. “What’s the matter with you?! Isn’t this what you wanted?! To join the circus and become a huge hit?”\n“N-no,” Zach spurts as he cries and flails his arms. “No… No… NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!” He slams his paws on the ground. “It’s not what I want! It’s not what I want! I hate my life! I hate it so much!”\n“Why are you even here, then? Why bother joining the circus if it’s not the life you wanted?”\n“I had changed my purpose because I wasn’t meant to be a rescuer… It was my dream, my passion, my desire… I wanted to help pokemon… But now, I’ve seen the truth… I was never meant to be an expeditioner… I had it awful growing up… I had changed my drive to be better… but I hate it!
