What else can I say about it?", "writing": "Despite having past, present, and future/impending errors and screw-ups, or shall we say “attempts” of trying to be a mighty warrior and hero, Zach is always hesitant to make up for his mistakes and do whatever it takes to win back the trust and love of his “family”. During peacetime, or the times where Team Rescuers is not fighting or on mission, he goes around to every one of his teammates in the base and asks if he could join them and/or talk with them to get closer. Their normal response is usually “no” with an occasional slamming of their doors. They don’t like being bothered, especially by a riolu who disrupts and ruins everything, at least that’s what they all think. Other times, when Zach’s not busy training himself or making up for his mess-ups, he’ll be around Cindy and constantly hit on her. Here’s what I mean…\n“Hey, Cindy!” The riolu walks up to the celebi as she’s reading on her bed. He crosses his arms behind his back as he leans his face closer to her. “What are you up to, my Dear?”\n“Uh, what’s it look like I’m doing?” Cindy says, sarcastically. “Reading something interesting before you showed up. What do you want anyway?”\n“Just coming to see how you are, my Darling.” Zach wears a smile on his face. “Hey, I was thinking we could maybe go out for a walk today. You fancy spending some time in the woods?” Cindy lets out a disgusted sigh and looks back in her book. “Oh, I see how it is. You’re playing hard to get. I understand you want to be like that.” He leans on the side of her bed. “I can play that game, too.”\n“Get lost, Loser. I’m not interested in a little riolu who doesn’t stand a chance at being a great expeditioner.”\n“Come on, now. You know you’re just saying that to try and-”\n“I said beat it!” She pushes him out of her room and slams the door behind him. \n“Hm, guess she doesn’t feel I’m her type. I know what’ll win her heart! I just need to up my game a little.” He wanders off. \nEzma has always told Zach that the entire team is not his “true” family; there is no blood relation or any bond by law. However, Zach has developed a crush on Cindy ever since he’s seen her in battle. Cindy, however, has no interest in the riolu, but does with Jay. Nonetheless, Zach doesn’t cease to make attempts to woo Cindy. \nCindy flaps her wings to levitate and float down the hallway. She stops before the riolu, who stand before her with arms crossed behind his back. “What the heck do you want now, you Dork?”\nZach brings his arms to the front and reveals a bouquet of flowers in his paws. “I’ve brought these for you, my Love. They looked pretty, so I thought I’d pick them for you.”\n“Nice try.” She floats past him.\n“Hm… Perhaps I should try harder…”\nAnd that he has, but is always rejected every time. Then, one night, is where things really take a turn for the worse. Zach has just set the mood for what he feels will be a romantic evening with the girl of his dreams. But, he’s unaware of what’s coming to him.\nCindy stands in the doorway to the meeting room with shock on her face. “Oh… my… Arceus…!” In front of her this time, the riolu lies on his side across the table with a flower in his mouth. \n“Hello, Sweetheart.” Zach gets to sitting position and strikes a sexy pose with his legs crossed, pulls the flower out of his mouth, and sets it down. “I figured I’d turn it up a notch.” Getting down, he reveals two glass sets and pours some wine into each. “A bit of wine?”\n“Um…” Cindy stands there, speechless.\nZach takes the glasses, raises them, and hands her one. “For you, my Dear.”\n Cindy’s expression quickly turns to amazement. “Oh, Zach. You’re quite thoughtful.” She takes the glass from his paw. “You really outdid yourself this time. There’s just something I should tell you, though.”\n“What is it, my Love?” Zach waits for her to answer as a smile occupies his face. “Please tell me.”\n“I’m afraid you’ve got wine all of your face.”\n“Huh?” Cindy throws her wine at Zach, covering him with the darkened liquid and stunning him temporarily. He wipes his eyes of the juice as tears stream down his face. \n“Wow, you are such a crybaby.”\n“C-Cindy, why?! Why don’t you love me the way I do?! I tried everything to try and be with you and you never even gave me a chance…”\n“Love you? Oh please! I wouldn’t love you even if you were the last pokemon on the planet. You’re not my type and you’re never going to get any of this. You can keep dreaming, but it’ll never come true, just like all your dreams don’t. Get real.” She leaves the room and proceeds to chase the buizel. “Hey there, Hot Stuff.”\n“I thought you had a date with a certain riolu,” says Jay. “What happened with that?”\n“Oh, he showed his true colors,” Cindy jokes. “I don’t need someone who’s a big mess-up crybaby all the time. I need a real guy who can show me how to love and not be ashamed when in public. Someone like you.”\nJay chuckles. “You sure that’s not the wine talking?”\n“Barely had any. Besides, I gave it all to the ‘winey’ riolu.
