Leon and Nerelia stand behind them as the mayor keeps his gaze on the family of five. “I cannot begin to say this, but I must express my voice about it,” the mayor begins. “You five realize that in the past few hours, you have caused much damage to commercial property, and even endangered the lives of many civilians around in the coffee shop. There could have been a mass number of casualties due to the events of today. This has not been the first catastrophe in Furton’s history, but it’s still something that could’ve been avoided. There is sufficient evidence to have you deported.”\n“Sir,” Zach interrupts him, stepping forward. “Please… Spare my friends from this. They mean no harm, and did nothing to provoke this… If anyone is to blame for the stressful situation, it’s me… I take full responsibility for my actions. I was only trying to protect the people I love and cherish.”\nThe mayor turns to the leader of the task force. “What be your word, Leon Lionheart? Is this true?”\nLeon nods. “He has claimed to have countered the villain in the coffee shop in an act of defense, as well as a few witnesses confirming this.”\nMayor Eagle faces the fox again. “Well, it all seems pretty clear to me. Therefore, it is only fitting that you shall receive something which will never be forgotten.” Zach picks his head up, awaiting to hear what the mayor has to say. Everyone else watches him, holding back their thoughts and emotions. “A special award for outstanding service to the city.” Everyone’s eyelids pull back as far back as they can go, all uttering a “what” in unison. His beak bends into a smile. \n“Y-you really mean it, Sir?” asks Zach.\n“Standing up to a super villain, such as the Grim Gangster, is never an easy situation. It takes plenty of courage to do something beyond your comfort to protect those you love.”\nZach reflects the expression of the mayor’s face. “Thank you, Sir.”\n“Also,” utters the mayor. “Another thing. Since you showed great heroism back in the Pawbucks, saving everyone from danger, I shall move you and your friends from class C citizens to class B. Consider it my way of saying “thank you” for carrying out your civic duty.”\nLeon walks up to the fox and places his paw on his shoulder. “You know, the world could always use more people such as you; brave, responsible, willing, smart, and fast. After today’s events, I want to give you an opportunity to serve alongside as one of the greatest defenders of justice and honor.”\n“Y-you’re offering me to be part of the Furton Task Force?!” Zach spurts. “B-but don’t you already have a full team?”\n“Kid, you have a personality like no one else. Despite all of the times you’ve been pushed down, you always get back up and continue onwards, as well as help those who simply need or ask for it. It takes a true hero to do everything like you do. What do you say, Zach? Will you be willing to accept the role of one of Furton’s brave defenders?”\n“I, uh…” Zach turns to his friends, all looking at him with begging eyes and smiles in an attempt to coax his decision. Come to headquarters tomorrow and we shall fit you with your special tools and outfit.” \n“Oh, Zach!” Melissa grabs the fox, wrapping her arms around him and then planting a kiss on his lips, causing him to blush. She then hugs him tightly. “I’m so proud of you!” Firework stands on his tail and bounces around with glee. Echo’s colors change in a variety of rainbows to celebrate, too.\n“Well done, my friend,” Amina tells him. “We are all happy.” Nerelia smiles as well. \n\n*** \n\nThe gang opens the door and enters the new apartment. They tour the new apartment from the entrance: Across the front door shows the laundry room, fitted with a washer and dryer in a more recent year. Beside the laundry room is a large setup of furniture, consisting of a loveseat, couch, and chair in front of a big television set, surrounding an oval coffee table. The enclosed area next to the living space composes of counters and appliances, making it the kitchen. The only access points into the kitchen are the archways from the living room area and the one in front of a big table with six chairs surrounding it, which is the dining room. The two rooms down the hallway beside the dining room are bedrooms, each with their own twin-sized bed and dresser. Across from them are a closet and a bathroom with a working sink, toilet and shower/bathtub hybrid. The last room at the end of the hall is a master bedroom that contains a queen-sized bed and dresser. The door on the left of the bed reveals itself to be the bathroom of the master bedroom, complete with a shower, sink, and toilet.\nZach stands in the center of the master bedroom and puts his paws on his hips. “Well, this is quite an upgrade. I like this already.”\n“As do I,” Melissa adds. “This is much better than the run-down filth we had.”\n“There are three bedrooms,” Echo says. “Who is sleeping where?”\n“Oh!” Firework shouts. “Firework get bedroom! Firework get bedroom!” Cotton squeaks while in Echo’s arms.\n“Settle down, everyone,” Zach orders. “Let’s not get riled up over who gets to sleep where.”\n“You guys can have the bedrooms,” Amina states. “I’ll take the couch.”\nMelissa looks to her. “Amina, you don’t want a bedroom?
