Bailey the Rockruff - baileyanimations (DA)","writing":"“You’ve almost got it! Keep up!” Oliver continues attacking the riolu and grumpig with his hydro pump. Zach and Emmy dodge the huge gush stream of water and start using their moves. Emmy fires a psybeam in retaliation, while Zach runs up to attack with force palm. The riolu knocks the oshawott off his feet and keeps him pinned to the wooden floor while in his stance. Oliver smiles. “You both did well.” He then gets up and brushes himself off. “You have improved. Why don’t we take a break?”\n“Sure,” Zach says. The three pokemon leave the battle area of the gym and go for the bench aside. “I definitely feel stronger.”\n“Same,” Emmy comments. “I can sense my psychic abilities are getting stronger.” \n“You both are putting good effort,” Oliver tells them. “A little shady on the moves, but you’re starting to get the hang of it.”\n“I never thought I would be able to do a lot of damage with my mind.” \n“Isn’t grumpig a psychic type?” asks Zach. \n“Leave me alone!” shouts a voice disrupting the gang, female in tone. The friends turn to the source of the shouting, finding a snubbull beside a rockruff wearing a purple scarf. The pink pokemon stuffs the rockruff in a bag of dodgeballs while laughing. Next to the snubbull is a cubone, taking part in the torture. \n“That doesn’t seem right,” Emmy states. “That poor girl. What did she ever do?” She walks up to the two pokemon. “Hey!” The cubone and snubbull look at her. “What’s that matter with you two?! Bullying a poor pokemon… Have you no-” The cubone pushes her away, but the grumpig falls onto her seat. \n“Emmy!” Oliver runs over to help her up. “You okay?”\n“My butt hurts,” she replies. “That was a hard landing…”\nZach steps up to the two pokemon. “That isn’t nice! You two better knock it off now!” The cubone and snubbull laugh at him. The snubbull lightly pushes him, prompting the riolu to swing his fist into the snubbull’s face, knocking the pokemon out. Alerted, the cubone swings its bone at him, but is blocked when Zach uses his tail, using iron tail. The riolu whacks away the cubone with his move. As the snubbull gets up, the pink pokemon begins to summon its ice fang move. Emmy stops the snubbull with her psyshock. As the two pokemon prepare to counter Zach and Emmy, they are pushed away by Oliver’s water pulse. The riolu and grumpig release the rockruff from the bag. “You okay?” asks Zach. \n“I-I think so,” says the rockruff. \n“It isn’t right for pokemon to harass others,” states Emmy. \n“It’s because I’m new here,” the rockruff tells her. “My name is Bailey.” The three friends introduce themselves to her. “Thank you very much for saving me. Say, are you humans too? Well, were you humans before pokemon?” Zach and Emmy advise her that they were, and that they are now the pokemon she sees. “Really?! So, I’m not the only one?!”\n“I guess this means other people were turned into pokemon as well,” Zach utters. He begins holding his head with one paw.\n“Don’t worry,” Oliver tells Bailey. “It’s not so bad being a pokemon. You might like it.”\nEmmy turns to Zach. “Zach, what’s wrong? You okay?” There is no answer. “Zach?”\n“I… I feel… weird…” Zach puts his other paw on his head as he kneels to the ground. “Ugh! I have such a headache! I-” He drops to the floor and passes out. \n“What?!” Emmy flinches. “Zach!” She kneels down to him. “Zach, what’s wrong?! Zach!”\n\n*** \n\nZach wakes and sits up. He looks around and notices he’s alone, surrounded by light blue waves of energy. “W-where am I?” The riolu stands. “Hello?! Emmy? Oliver?” His eyes fix on a glowing blue orb floating in front of him. “What’s this?” Zach reaches out to touch the orb. Poking it lightly, the glowing objecting propels itself away from the riolu, prompting him to follow it as it floats away. “Where is it going?” He follows the orb until it stops, forcing him to stop as well. “W-what? What now?” The orb’s brightness increases before him. Zach’s eyes start to glow the orb’s color before everything turns back to darkness. \nZach opens his eyes to see Emmy and Oliver standing around him as he lies on the oshawott’s couch. \n“Zach, thank Arceus!” says Emmy. “Are you okay?”\nZach sits up and holds his head. “W-what?”\n“You all right?” asks Oliver. “We were very concerned about you. You passed out in the gym.”\n“What was that orb?” Zach utters. Emmy and Oliver ask what he means by that. “I saw an glowing orb… ”\n“Not sure what that means,” Oliver says. “It may have something to do with your aura, if I had to take a guess. However, I am no expert on riolus or aura.”\n“Are you sure you’re okay, Zach?” Emmy asks him.\nZach sighs. “Fine…” He turns to Oliver. “So, it’s something to do with my aura, right?” Oliver shrugs. “That was odd…”\n“You could be slowly developing it,” Emmy guesses. “It’s been a couple of days since you and I found out we turned. You said you saw a blue orb, right?”\n“Yeah.” Zach recalls from his memory. “It appeared before me. I went to touch it, but it drifted away. I began to follow it before it started to glow brightly. That’s all I can remember…”\nOliver puts his paw on his chin. “Odd indeed. We’ll have to keep an eye on that. You feel like adventuring?”\n“I-I don’t think so… After what I’ve been through, perhaps its best if I just take a breather…”\nOliver slumps in disappointment “Aw… I was hoping we’d do another mission.”\n“It’s all right, Oliver,” Emmy utters. “We can do a mission tomorrow if you’d like. Besides, the day’s almost over, anyway.”\nOliver sighs. “You’re right… I did teach and train you two hard as well… Guess we’ll call it… I’ll make us something to eat.” He wanders out of the room through the archway. “Hi, Mom! Don’t mind me. Just whipping something up for the friends and I.”\n“Oliver, you should let me help you,” cries out his mother. “You can’t reach the- Oliver!”\nEmmy looks at Zach before motioning toward him, seeing him place his paw on his head. “What are you thinking, Zach?
