His head tilted at his feet with his paws out in front between his legs. The grey experiment keeps still as he breathes in and sighs. \nSplatter swings with her tail and enters through the window. “Heya, Zach!” She lands on her feet. “I thought I’d drop by and see how everyone’s doing. How are you doing?” There is no answer. Oreo walks in from the kitchen and notices the monkey experiment. “Heya, Oreo! Hope you don’t mind me coming in. Is Daji around?”\n“She’s in the bedroom,” Oreo tells her. “I want to go out with her and a couple of other friends.”\n“So, what’s stopping you?”\nOreo grabs her by the shoulder and urges her into the kitchen. The green experiment follows her. “It’s about Zach,” she says in a low tone. “He hasn’t moved from that spot since yesterday. He’s still a little upset from what happened yesterday. I didn’t want to disturb him, but I don’t want to just leave him alone. I’m stuck and I don’t know what to do…”\n“Why don’t you just take him with you?” Splatter asks. \n“Daji’s still a little meh with him. She’s not too comfy after his little “outburst”.”\n“But wouldn’t it be better if Zach got to know you guys a little more? You would earn his trust if you did. I’ll tell you what; I’ll go out with you guys just in case.”\n“Gee, I don’t know…” Oreo taps her fingertips together. “I’m not sure Daji would feel comfortable with you either. We just met you, and I would like get to know you, too. It’s just Daji-”\n“Oh, let her and Zach come with us,” Daji utters from across the way, causing them to turn to her. “I’d rather Zach spend time with his new friends than sit around moping. Besides, I just cleaned the floor.”\n“You have any place in mind, Honey?” asks Oreo.\n“Let’s just head to town,” Daji answers. “Maybe it’ll come to me.”\n\n*** \n\nThe four experiments walk along the sidewalk of the main street. Oreo’s eyes are shielded by red sunglasses as her arms bend, carrying paper shopping bags full of goods. “Isn’t this wonderful? We’re all out in the sun, enjoying ourselves! How are you guys handling it?”\n“Quite a little nice stroll,” admits Splatter. “I have a sudden urge to paint, however.” \n“Don’t think about it,” adds Daji. “We’re almost to the art shop. We can get you canvases so you can “splatter” all over them.”\n“How about you, Zach?” asks Oreo. “How are you enjoying the day?”\nZach searches around as he walks. “I don’t know, Oreo… I’m a little uncertain about this…”\nShe looks back at him. “Why uncertain?”\n“The last time I was in town, I caused panic… I threw Stitch at the window with my powers, not intending to do so… Everybody will think I’m dangerous.”\n“So, you hurled another experiment into a store,” says Daji. “Big deal… You know how many other experiment’s Stitch had to battle? Pretty much all the experiments you see in this town. Besides, you’re acting pessimistic. You should now just move on from all that.”\n“Are you kidding? There’s nothing in Kokaua Town that could- Oh…” Zach stops short while looking across the road. His friends halt and turn to him. They ask what’s gone wrong with him. “Wow…” The three experiments trace his gaze over on the other side of the street. Leaning against the wall of a shop is a lime-green experiment. Eyelashes from the eyes and a thin build reveal the alien’s gender as a female. Zach keeps his eyes on the experiment. “Oh… my… God…” \nOreo snickers. “That’s Bonnie. She was an experiment pent on crime, until Pleakley rehabilitated her.” She notices the huge experiment exiting the store entry beside the green one. The heavy alien’s gender is revealed to be male without a doubt, colored in dirty yellow. A robotic hand connected to a metal contraption is attached to where his left arm should be. “And that’s Clyde, her partner.”\n“Oh wow…” Zach remains fixed on the lime-green experiment. “She’s so sexy… and pretty…”\nDaji places her paw on his shoulder. “You’re not her type, Bud… Don’t bother wasting your time with her.” \nZach faces her. “What does she have that I don’t?”\n“Well, she’s cunning, manipulative, and a great schemer. She’s pretty smart, mostly street-smart, though. However, she’s also a compulsive and obsessive stealer.”\n“Aw, how thoughtful of you to think of me like that, Daji,” says a feminine voice. Daji turns and sees the lime-green alien standing right beside her. Clyde comes up from behind her. She turns to the other two. “Oreo and Splatter, pleasure to see you both, too.” Splatter and Oreo remain silent. Bonnie turns her head back to Daji. “So, who’s your new friend here? Aren’t you going to introduce him?” Daji remains quiet for a few seconds, but proceeds to introduce the two experiments to Zach. \n“Zach?” repeats Clyde “Odd name for an experiment. Why would Jumba ever name any of his experiments a human name?”\n“Because Zach’s really a human,” says Oreo. “He was turned into an alien experiment, and now he’s one of us.” Daji gives Oreo a mean stare.\n“Oh really?” Bonnie crosses her arms. “Interesting…”\nZach rubs his arm. “I uh… I’m not sure how I got this way.”\n“But you do have cool telekinesis powers.” Bonnie smiles. “You’re quite famous around here; tossing Stitch into the candy shop.” \n“That was unintentional…”\n“No worries. I thought it was pretty funny.”\n“R-really? Say, um… Do you want to maybe go get some coffee and discuss more?”\n“You asking me out on a date?” Bonnie puts her paw on his shoulder. “Listen Kid, you’re nice and sweet, but you’re just not my type. From what it seems, you are sensitive and a gentleman. I’m the complete opposite like Daj says. You’re better off with some other experiment.”\n“But you just met me… Wouldn’t you’d rather get to know me than just assume? I want to get to know you…”\nBonnie lets go of him and turns away. “Kid, you’re sweet, but it’ll never work out.” She starts walking away from him. \n“Bonnie, please…” Zach advances toward her, but is stopped when Clyde stands between him and the lime-green experiment. As Bonnie is three more feet away from Zach, Clyde turns and follows his companion. Zach watches as they shrink in view. \n“Hey…” Oreo wraps her arm around the grey experiment. “Don’t be all teary. There’s plenty of fish in the sea. A lot of experiments around Kokaua Town.”\n“Are there any like her?” Zach asks. \n“Eh… not quite.”\n“You’re better off without her,” Daji tells him. “Not easy when it comes to love, but it’ll happen again. Happened with me and Oreo. Come on, let’s keep moving.” She and Oreo continue walking. Zach remains standing, watching as Bonnie and Clyde disappear. Splatter stays to look out over him. Zach walks past Splatter, taking his time to catch up with the other girls while Splatter follows him. The two meet up with the orange and dalmatian aliens in front of a café named “Kiki’s Coffee Hut”.\n“Say,” Oreo begins. “Since that Zach mentioned coffee, I kind of want to get some. Anybody else want?” Daji sighs, yet agrees.\n“No thanks,” Zach replies. “I’m not in the mood for coffee…” \nSplatter keeps her eyes on him with concern. “You okay, Zach?”\n“C’mon, Lad,” Oreo tells him. “Just because you get rejected by a girl, doesn’t mean it’s all over. It’s not healthy to be sad. Look, you’re just having a bad start is all.”\n“Bad start… Like being an orphan wasn’t enough… So far, I’ve woken up as an alien, been captured and put in a glass tube, and became really sick. I discover my friend and his family is no longer around, and now this. Yeah… Everything’s been going well…”\n“Oi… You shouldn’t be pessimistic about it all. You’ve got to look at life for the good things.”\n“What good things, Oreo? After everything I’ve experienced, I don’t see anything good happening for me…”\n“Look out!” shouts a male voice. Zach turns to the source, but he’s unable to do anything. The grey experiment is knocked back by a tremendous force and crashes to the ground, dazed. The girls rush over to him and ask frantically if he’s okay. \nOn top of Zach lies a gold alien experiment with a pink nose, bat-like wings and ears, a long tail, and bug-like antennae. Half the alien’s face is colored with tan from the nose down to its belly. The bright yellow experiment is male in body build. As he slowly rises, he flinches and backs up, getting off of the grey alien. “Oh my! I am so sorry! I-I didn’t mean to plow into you like that! A-are you okay, M-Mister?”\nZach tilts his head up and places his paw on his head. “Ow… What’s the big i-” He pauses and looks at the yellow alien, staring at him. “Oh… hello there… Where did you come from?” \nThe flying experiment stands. “Honestly, I didn’t mean to… I was trying to keep my course when the wind blew me off. I’m so sorry! I-”\n“It’s quite all right,” Zach interrupts. Splatter helps him up while he keeps his paw on his head. “It was only an accident… Accidents happen, right?” Splatter asks if he’s okay. “Just a bit of a concussion…” \n“Perhaps there’s ice in the coffee shop. I’ll be back.” Splatter disappears to the shop. \nOreo walks up to the bat-like experiment. “Oh… You are a new kind of alien experiment. What’s your name, Friend?”\n“I-I’m Firefly,” says the golden experiment. “Experiment 779.” \n“Neat! A new experiment! I’m Oreo.” She introduces the new alien to her girlfriend. Splatter returns with a bag of ice to place on Zach’s head. “This is Splatter,” Oreo says, introducing Firefly to her. \n“I’m Zach,” the grey experiment tells him. \nFirefly motions to him. “Are you okay? I swear, I didn’t mean to-”\n“It’s all right,” Zach interrupts him again. “You don’t have to keep apologizing. Um, hey Firefly… Do you have time to hang out for a few?”\n“Plenty of time,” Firefly tells him. “It was my intention to arrive here. Why do you ask?”\n“Is it okay if we grabbed a coffee together?” \n“C-coffee?” \n“Or rather just grab a table at the café here and chat?”\n“I… I suppose.” Firefly wanders over to a table. As Zach starts to go over, he’s wrangled in Splatter’s tail and brought to the girls.\n“Yo,” Splatter begins. “What’s going on with you? First, you were crushing on that Bonnie girl, now this new gold experiment flew in and you fall in love?”\n“Yeah,” Daji says. “I’m quite curious myself. I thought you were into girls.”\n“I am,” Zach tells them. “But, I don’t mind guys, either.” He looks away with a blush. “Don’t judge me…”\n“No worries,” Oreo utters. “All is good. Why don’t we join our new friend at the table? Besides, it’d be nice if Zach got closer to him.” She smiles.\nZach stares at the dalmatian experiment. “I don’t like how you said that…” \n“Just go on and be yourself.” Oreo winks. Splatter releases Zach from her tail, allowing him to walk over to the yellow experiment. Oreo then grabs Daji’s paw. “Why don’t we get a separate table so those two can talk?” \nDaji sighs. “Whatever. Care to join us, Splatter?” Splatter smiles as she follows the two girls to the table across from Zach and Firefly, watching as the two boys talk to each other. \n","writing_bbcode_parsed":"Zach remains seated on the couch. I’m Oreo.” She introduces the new alien to her girlfriend. Splatter returns with a bag of ice to place on Zach’s head. “This is Splatter,” Oreo says, introducing Firefly to her.
“I’m Zach,” the grey experiment tells him.
Firefly motions to him. “Are you okay? I swear, I didn’t mean to-”
“It’s all right,” Zach interrupts him again. “You don’t have to keep apologizing. Um, hey Firefly… Do you have time to hang out for a few?”
“Plenty of time,” Firefly tells him. “It was my intention to arrive here. Why do you ask?”
“Is it okay if we grabbed a coffee together?”
“C-coffee?”
“Or rather just grab a table at the café here and chat?”
“I… I suppose.” Firefly wanders over to a table. As Zach starts to go over, he’s wrangled in Splatter’s tail and brought to the girls.
“Yo,” Splatter begins. “What’s going on with you? First, you were crushing on that Bonnie girl, now this new gold experiment flew in and you fall in love?”
“Yeah,” Daji says. “I’m quite curious myself. I thought you were into girls.”
“I am,” Zach tells them. “But, I don’t mind guys, either.” He looks away with a blush. “Don’t judge me…”
“No worries,” Oreo utters. “All is good. Why don’t we join our new friend at the table? Besides, it’d be nice if Zach got closer to him.” She smiles.
Zach stares at the dalmatian experiment. “I don’t like how you said that…”
“Just go on and be yourself.” Oreo winks. Splatter releases Zach from her tail, allowing him to walk over to the yellow experiment. Oreo then grabs Daji’s paw. “Why don’t we get a separate table so those two can talk?”
Daji sighs. “Whatever. Care to join us, Splatter?” Splatter smiles as she follows the two girls to the table across from Zach and Firefly, watching as the two boys talk to each other.
","pools_count":0,"title":"EXP 630 Episode 5: Crashing In","deleted":"f","public":"t","mimetype":"image/png","pagecount":"1","rating_id":"0","rating_name":"General","ratings":[],"submission_type_id":"12","type_name":"Writing - Document","guest_block":"f","friends_only":"f","comments_count":"0","views":"51","sales_description":null,"forsale":"f","digitalsales":"f","printsales":"f","digital_price":""}
