She pulls herself up into a sitting position and stretches. \nThe door opens with the dalmatian alien appearing. She makes it to the other bed opposite of the orange alien and picks up the red bandana from the end table. “Morning, Daji. Have a good night’s sleep?” She asks as she ties the bandana around her neck. \n“Slept like a baby,” responds Daji. “Was quiet and cool. Like always near the beach.” \n“Great.” Oreo proceeds to exit. “I’m making a little breakfast. You okay with whatever I serve?” \n“You’re the chef,” Daji tells her. “No big deal.” The dalmatian alien smiles and heads off. Daji slides out of the bed, landing onto her feet before walking out. She enters the bathroom to do her business in the morning ritual.\nOreo tosses pancakes in the air, flipping them before catching them in the center of the pan. “Whoa! Almost!” She produces three stacks of four with quick paws. Finishing, the dalmatian alien takes the plates and serves them at the table. Daji appears, walking toward the table. “Ah, just in time, Daji! Made special pancakes for breakfast. You’re going to love them!” She smiles. As Daji takes a seat, Oreo leaves the room. “Let’s see how our new housemate is doing.” In the living room area, she walks over and stands in front of the couch to see the grey experiment still lying there, motionless with eyes tightly closed. His side presses against the surface of the cushions with his head angled thirty degrees up due to the pillow on the armrest. His body is curled up in a fetal position, covered from feet to shoulders with the blanket. Oreo places her paw on the grey alien’s shoulder and nudges him. “Hey Zach, wake up. I made breakfast.” Zach curls up more in response, letting out a grunt. “Wake up, Zach.” She continues to nudge him. Finally, Zach’s eyes open halfway, causing her to pull away. “Morning, Sleepy Head. There’s some pancakes in the dining room with your name on it.” Oreo heads back to the dining area and sits across from her girlfriend. As she begins drowning her stacks with syrup, she turns her head after hearing a sudden moan. The grey alien stands in the archway, leaning against the beam. His eyes are halfway open with wrinkles underneath them in the grey zones circling around. “Oi, you look terrible. You okay?”\nZach grudges at his stomach. “I… I don’t… I don’t feel so good… I feel… dizzy… and nauseous…” He collapses to the floor. The girls stand from their chairs and shuffle to him as he lies on his side, fetal-positioned with his arms gripping his stomach, coughing. His body vibrates violently as if shivering. \nOreo leans closer in concern. “What’s wrong with you, Zach?!” \nDaji places her paw against his forehead. “High fever… Not good…” She wraps her arms under the grey experiment. “Get up.” The orange alien is successful in bringing the experiment onto his feet, but he hunches over and groans with agony. “Come on.” Oreo aids her girlfriend, bringing the experiment back to the couch to lie him down. \nZach coughs and shivers again. “W-what’s happening to me? I feel horrible…”\n“You’re sick, no doubt,” Daji says. “However, I’m no doctor. So, I wouldn’t know what’s wrong with you.”\n“Jumba would know!” Oreo shouts. “He’ll know what to do. We have to bring you to him.” \n“Are you sure about that, Oreo? Doesn’t look like he can walk in the condition he’s in. He’s too sick to bring along.”\n“Hang on!” Oreo rummages through the closet and pulls out a surfboard from within. “We can put him on this and drag him around.”\n“That’s the silliest thing I ever heard, Oreo.”\n“What choice do we have? It’s not like Jumba can come in here. He’s too big to fit in the house. We’re going to have to bring Zach to him.”\nDaji sighs. “I guess so… And considering I just finished cleaning a week ago. All right, we’ll use the surfboard.” Oreo smiles and places the board down. She ties rope around the front end, tightening it for safe measures. “Come on, Zach!” Daji helps Zach onto his feet, causing him to moan. She brings him over to the surfboard and lies him against it. Zach continues to moan and shake. The orange alien takes the blanket from the couch and covers him from his feet to shoulders. “Is that better?”\n“N-no…” Zach coughs. “My head is burning…”\n“Hang in there. I’ll get you a nice, damp cloth.” Daji walks into the bathroom, turning the water on and rinsing a wash cloth in cold water. She waits fifteen seconds before shutting the sink off and heading back to Zach. “Here.” She applies the cloth to his forehead. The cold from the soaked cloth counters with the intense heat within Zach’s head. “Does that feel good?”\nZach nods. “Y-yes… T-thank you…” He coughs. \n“Let’s get moving.” Oreo pulls the rope, dragging the board with the grey alien out the door. Daji assists in keeping the board level as it goes down the steps, ensuring Zach doesn’t slide off. “Onwards!” \n\n*** \n\nThe girls are halfway up the hill to the shack. Daji struggles with the board as Oreo wanders beside it. The weight of Zach’s body slows her enough to stop and rest.\n“Oi!” Oreo yells. “We can’t stop now! We’re almost there!”\n“He’s too heavy,” Daji tells her. “I have to rest…” She notices the fast reflexes of a shadow whoosh by the window, causing her to flinch. Zach turns his head, asking her what’s going on. Oreo asks the same. “I think we’ve got company.” She motions to the collection of trees where she last saw the shadow. As she stands within four feet of it, she stops. \n“Hi!” shouts an optimistic creature with a feminine voice, appearing in her view while hanging upside down. Daji lengthens her claws and teeth in defense. “Whoa! Whoa! Easy there, Sister!” She turns right-side up and lands on her feet. The creature shows herself to be a monkey-like experiment, emerald in color with tan stomach fur. Black eyes watch the orange experiment as circular, tan ears stick out from the side of its head. Long hair is combed toward one-way outwards. Below, fluff is a mess all over her body as her tail stretches out long with a large paintbrush-like end. “I’m your friend.”\n“My friend?!” Daji exclaims. “Who are you?!”\n“Relax,” the monkey experiment says. “I’m not going to hurt you. I’m quite friendly.” She holds her paw out. Daji looks at her paw, then back at her. The monkey takes her paw back. “Not a shaker?” \nDaji transitions from her attack mode. “What do you want?”\n“I saw you guys wandering about and I thought I’d find out.” She notices the grey experiment. “What’s wrong with your friend? Is he sick?”\n“Yes,” Oreo says. “We’re trying to get him up to the shack there so that Jumba can see what’s wrong with him.”\nThe green experiment takes a look at Zach, who is locked in a struggle with his stomach gobbling as he’s coughing. “Poor kid…” She looks up to the girls. “Is there any way I can help?”\n“We could use it,” Oreo utters. “We have to lift him up to the shack.”\n“You’ve got it.” The monkey creature heads to the rope and picks it up with her tail. She presses onward, dragging the board with Zach on it, following the girls as they make it up to the blue shack. Before Oreo goes to knock on the door, the three experiments carefully lift the board, keeping Zach balanced while carrying him up the stairs. Once the reach the top, Oreo goes to knock on the door. \nAnswering her is Nani, who stands in the doorway and looks down at her. “Oreo?”\n“Sorry to bother you, Nani,” Oreo begins. “But we need Jumba. It’s very urgent!”\nNani looks at Daji, the green alien, and Zach. “What happened?”\n“Zach’s sick,” Oreo tells her. “We’re unsure what it is. That’s why we came up to seek Jumba’s help.”\n“Come in,” Nani says. “I’ll get Jumba.” The three experiments drag the board into the house and proceed into the living room. Lilo and Stitch sit on the couch, watching television. When they notice the other aliens, they stand and collect around them. Oreo explains the situation to them and their journey to their home. Lilo puts her arms under the grey experiment, lifts him up, and places him on the couch behind her. Nani returns with Jumba and stands in the archway as the big hippo-like alien examines Zach while scanning him through his laptop.\nJumba turns to Oreo. “How did this happen?”\n“I don’t know!” Oreo exclaims. “We were just about to sit down and have breakfast when Zach came over and said he wasn’t feeling to good. He collapsed on the floor and began developing symptoms.” Jumba asks what the symptoms are. “He’s shaking as if he’s cold, but his temperature shows a high fever. He’s also complained he’s dizzy and nauseous while coughing.”\n“Sounds like he’s had a reaction to something,” adds Lilo. \n“Well, I did make a poke last night, and it was the first time I ever made it… After that, he complained about a headache…” Oreo gasps and holds her paws up to her mouth. “Oh god! What if I poisoned him?! I’m such a bad chef!”\nDaji puts her paws on her girlfriend. “You didn’t poison him, Oreo! I’ve had your cooking before and I haven’t been sick.”\n“Experiment 616 is correct,” Jumba says, leaning back from the grey experiment. “Is not food poisoning.” \nZach opens his eyes halfway and looks at him after coughing. “What… What’s happening to me?”\nJumba fixes Zach’s blanket and wash cloth. “It is what I suspected from reading new files. Your body is going through change phase. Turning into alien experiment has caused major shift to happen, and you aren’t used to it yet. Your body needs time to adjust to new form. It is not serious. Should blow over once day is over.”\n“He’ll be sick all day?” asks Daji. “Well, great…”\n“He should be better by evening.” \nStitch notices the green experiment. “Aloha, Splatter. Stitch good to see you again.”\n“Ah, yes,” Jumba adds. “Experiment 645. Good to see you. I remember seeing you vandalize all of town with your paintbrush tail.”\n“Splatter?” repeats Daji. “Your name is Splatter?”\n“Why yes,” Splatter says. “I’m a paint experiment. I’m sorry, I didn’t catch your names.” \n“Well, my name’s Oreo,” Oreo tells her. She wraps her arm around Daji. “This is my girlfriend, Daji!” She smiles.\nSplatter looks back to Zach. “And what is your name?”\n“Zach,” the grey experiment says. “I’m Zach…”\n“Zach,” she repeats. “That’s such a nice name for an experiment.”\n“I wasn’t… initially an alien… I was a human being…”\n“You’re a human? That’s… interesting.”\n“I was,” Zach responds. “Now, I’m this… alien thing.” He coughs. “I… can’t remember how I got this way…”\n“Easy.” Lilo places her hand on the alien’s stomach. “You should rest. That’s more important.”\n“Actually… I’m a little hungry…” \n“Well, you didn’t eat breakfast,” Daji points out. “So, that’ll explain it.”\n“Oh no!” Oreo utters. “I left the pancakes on the table! Aw man… Now I’ll have to go back and make more…”\n“Actually,” Nani starts. “I was just about to make some, but everyone slept in. Suppose I can make some.”\n“Can I help?” Oreo asks. Nani nods. “I’m going to make the best pancakes ever!”\n“Maybe you should ease on the ingredients,” Daji tells her. “Zach already complained about being nauseous. You shouldn’t add anything heavy to the batter. You might make him throw up.” \n“Pancakes should be good enough to absorb stomach acid.” Nani disappears into the kitchen with Oreo beside her. Everyone else disappears except for Daji, Jumba, and Splatter, who remain around the grey experiment. \n“Will he be okay, Jumba?” queries Splatter.\n“All experiment 630, or Zach, needs is rest and time, and also food. Other than so, make sure to tend to any needs he might have.” Zach’s eyes are closed, resting in an attempt to ease his agony. Splatter strokes his shoulder, adding comfort as he rests. \n","writing_bbcode_parsed":"Sunlight pierces through the window’s openings and makes its way into the room. Stitch good to see you again.”
“Ah, yes,” Jumba adds. “Experiment 645. Good to see you. I remember seeing you vandalize all of town with your paintbrush tail.”
“Splatter?” repeats Daji. “Your name is Splatter?”
“Why yes,” Splatter says. “I’m a paint experiment. I’m sorry, I didn’t catch your names.”
“Well, my name’s Oreo,” Oreo tells her. She wraps her arm around Daji. “This is my girlfriend, Daji!” She smiles.
Splatter looks back to Zach. “And what is your name?”
“Zach,” the grey experiment says. “I’m Zach…”
“Zach,” she repeats. “That’s such a nice name for an experiment.”
“I wasn’t… initially an alien… I was a human being…”
“You’re a human? That’s… interesting.”
“I was,” Zach responds. “Now, I’m this… alien thing.” He coughs. “I… can’t remember how I got this way…”
“Easy.” Lilo places her hand on the alien’s stomach. “You should rest. That’s more important.”
“Actually… I’m a little hungry…”
“Well, you didn’t eat breakfast,” Daji points out. “So, that’ll explain it.”
“Oh no!” Oreo utters. “I left the pancakes on the table! Aw man… Now I’ll have to go back and make more…”
“Actually,” Nani starts. “I was just about to make some, but everyone slept in. Suppose I can make some.”
“Can I help?” Oreo asks. Nani nods. “I’m going to make the best pancakes ever!”
“Maybe you should ease on the ingredients,” Daji tells her. “Zach already complained about being nauseous. You shouldn’t add anything heavy to the batter. You might make him throw up.”
“Pancakes should be good enough to absorb stomach acid.” Nani disappears into the kitchen with Oreo beside her. Everyone else disappears except for Daji, Jumba, and Splatter, who remain around the grey experiment.
“Will he be okay, Jumba?” queries Splatter.
“All experiment 630, or Zach, needs is rest and time, and also food. Other than so, make sure to tend to any needs he might have.” Zach’s eyes are closed, resting in an attempt to ease his agony. Splatter strokes his shoulder, adding comfort as he rests.
","pools_count":0,"title":"EXP 630 Episode 3: Change in Life","deleted":"f","public":"t","mimetype":"image/png","pagecount":"1","rating_id":"0","rating_name":"General","ratings":[],"submission_type_id":"12","type_name":"Writing - Document","guest_block":"f","friends_only":"f","comments_count":"0","views":"33","sales_description":null,"forsale":"f","digitalsales":"f","printsales":"f","digital_price":""}
