The dalmatian alien explains everything she knows to him as they walk. “The alien experiments you see all around you were created by Jumba Jookiba as his attempt of being an evil genius to conquer the universe. He’s that four-eyed hippo you’ve met. Anyway, the experiments were meant to be his little army, including Stitch, the blue alien. When Stitch got loose, he tracked him down to Earth with his friend, Pleakley, the slim, one-eyed alien. Well, after a bit of quarreling and such, he eventually befriends Lilo and Nani; the human women. Long story short, they became one big ohana, or family in Hawaiian.”\n“Yeah, they all had a funny way of meeting me,” says Zach. “So, why haven’t any of the aliens attacked?”\n“Lilo and Stitch managed to convert them all to good,” she continues. “Peace was achieved because of them. However, Jumba never stopped making experiments. I was created with a whole bunch of other experiments, forming a newer type of generation. I was supposed to be an ultimate weapon, but I’m too kind and friendly to use any of my powers. I’m quite gentle.”\n“I can see…”\n“Yes. I’ve even got nice friends and a gir-”\n “Yo, Oreo,” calls a feminine voice, interrupting her. She then notices an orange experiment approaching her. The orange alien is fox-like with a long, bushy tail and pointy ears. Antennae stem out from the sides of her face like whiskers on a cat. Her build is much similar to Oreo and Zach. \n“Daji!” Oreo smiles, running up to her and squeezing her with a hug. “Good to see you, Babe! How’ve you been?”\n“Fine,” says the orange one. “Been walking around town with Scribble.” She turns her head and sees a purple, rat-like alien come over. “Ah, there she is.”\nOreo’s smile grows bigger. “Good to see you, Scribble.”\n“Heya, Oreo,” the purple one says, the high, feminine voice revealing its gender. She turns and notices Zach, causing her smile to disappear. “Uh, Oreo… Who is this?”\nDaji brings her attention to the creature she sees and points at him. “Hey, I know you! You’re the alien from the festival attack!” Daji’s mouth opens, showing her large, sharp teeth as her claws deploy from the tips of her fingers. Zach flinches and starts to back up a couple of steps, raising his arms with fear. “Keep away from my Oreo!”\n“Daji, don’t!” Oreo puts her paws on Daji’s arms, forcing them lower. “He doesn’t mean any harm! He’s actually pretty friendly.” The orange alien turns to her with curiosity. “Besides, he didn’t mean to do any of that.” \nScribble faces her as Daji keeps her stance at the grey one. “How do you know that?”\n“Because I was with him,” she tells her. Oreo forces Daji’s arms down further. “He’s really not a bad guy. Just give him a chance.”\nDaji’s teeth and claws shrink as she returns to normal. “You better be right about him, Oreo.” She shifts her gaze back to Zach with a mean stare. “I still don’t know about this one.”\nOreo walks back to Zach. “You’ll have to forgive Daji. She’s very protective, mostly over me.”\n“I see that,” Zach utters. “I can tell I’m going to be very welcomed here in this community… Pleasure to meet you, Daji… You seem like a very good friend of Oreo’s.”\n“Girlfriend,” Oreo corrects him. She walks back to Daji and wraps her arm around her. “Daji and I are in a happy, loving relationship.”\n“I’m Scribble,” the purple alien says. “I-it’s a pleasure to meet you, uh…”\n“Zach,” Zach tells her. “My name is Zach.”\n“So, Zach,” Daji begins. “What’s your story? Created by Jumba, I assume?” She crosses her arms in a pretzel.\n“I… don’t know…”\n“What?” Daji’s eyes relax. “You don’t you know how you were created or even came from?”\nZach holds his head. “I… honestly can’t remember… I was just living a normal life as a human boy. The next thing I knew, I woke up in the middle of this town like this. I don’t remember being in a laboratory or being tested on…”\n“Not much is known about your origins then, eh? I’m quite shocked.” Scribble starts to notice a big similarity as her girlfriend stands next to the grey alien. “You and Oreo look very much alike. Same design, yet different colors. Are you supposed to be a copy off of Oreo?”\nZach looks at her. “Huh?”\n“He actually has the same DNA as Stitch,” Oreo tells her. “He’s the same way as me, but we’re not the same. I do admit, we do look alike. We’re just colored differently and have different bandanas is all.” She turns to Zach. “By the way, that bandana is kind of good-looking on you.”\n“This?” The grey alien’s paw sides under the blue bandana and curls his fingers around the tip. “My mother gave this to me… She wanted me to have it before… before she passed on…” His ears droop down, showing his emotion. “It wasn’t pleasant…”\n“Aw, I’m so sorry… Was hard for your dad, too?”\n“I… never knew who my father was… It was just me and my mother…”\n“So, you’re on your own?” She asks. Zach nods. “Aw… You poor kid… It must be hard being lonely… But hey, it’s okay. You’ve got me now.” Oreo puts her paw behind his back once more. “And Daji and Scribble will be good friends, too. Oh, I know! Why don’t we go back to me and Daji’s place? We can hang out for sure! And while we’re at it, you can stay with us. You know, so you’re not out sleeping in the street.”\n“Uh,” Daji interrupts. “I’m not sure about that, Oreo.”\n“Why not?” The dalmatian alien says to her girlfriend. “Come on, Daji. The poor kid’s got nowhere to go. And it’s not like Nani’s going to allow him to stay at her house. She’s already got monsters to deal with.”\n“True, but are you sure you can trust this alien? I’m not certain about him. He could be hostile.” \n“It’ll be fine, Daji. I promise.”\nDaji sighs. “You know I love you too much… You better be right about him.”\n“I am.” Oreo turns to Zach. “Come now. Let’s head to our place. Scribble, you’re more than welcome to join us.”\n“Thanks,” Scribble states. “But, I need to get going. I’ll catch you guys another time.” She leaves. \n“Okay, see ya! Let’s go.” She and Daji leads Zach out of town and down to the beach. The three experiments wander along the sand, tracing the outer reaches of the coast as the waves crash alongside them. They approach a wooden shack situated on a platform supported by stilts ahead. Stairs lead directly up to the doorway, which stands below a circular window. “Here we are!” Oreo smiles. The experiments make it up the stairs and enter the dwelling. “Welcome to Casa de Daji and Oreo!” As they stand by the door, the grey experiment catches a glimpse of the girlfriends’ home as Oreo shows him. To the right is a living room area with a plasma television set. In the room adjacent to it, at the far-right corner is the kitchen with the stove, counters, and fridge all connected. The bedroom sits across from the kitchen with two twin-sized beds in the corners of the room. Wedged between the bedroom and kitchen is the dining area, complete with a table and pillows for seats. Last room on the left of the bedroom is the bathroom, complete with a shower, toilet, and sink. “What do ya think? Pretty neat, huh?”\n“Sure is a nice little house,” Zach comments. “You okay with sharing water and electricity with the locals?”\n“Oh, we get our own water and electricity,” says Oreo. “We have solar and wind generators producing power while our water comes from a nice spring further away. Did you see our room? Cool, right?” \n“How come you two don’t share a bed together?” \n“Oh. Daji and I have our own ideas for designing the room the way we see it. We decided to split the room in half and have our own side. Pretty neat idea, right?”\n“I guess…” The clang of a bell resonates from the kitchen. The grey experiment’s ears shoot up as he turns to where the source of the sound came from. “What was that?”\n“Oh! The poke’s almost ready! I better get it. In the meantime, why don’t you and Daji head to the dining room and we’ll have us some good eats soon.” Oreo disappears into the kitchen. Zach and Daji wait in the dining room, sitting opposite of each other at the table as they wait for Oreo. The silence between them is filled in with Oreo’s shouting, struggling to prepare the food. \nZach tries to stir up a conversation with Daji. “So… every experiment has powers, right? What makes you so special?”\n“I gain the trust of those I talk with,” she tells him. “Then, I go and attack with my claws and teeth. I know you saw them already.”\n“Y-yeah… I did…”\n“What about you? What kind of powers do you have? Telekinesis, I assume?”\n“Uh… I guess… I remember that Jumba guy saying I did, but I don’t know how it all works… I never used them before like I did at the festival… It’s all new to me…”\n“Well, you’ll know in time. It is strange, however. Usually experiments know how to use their abilities. I never met an experiment who didn’t know how their powers worked.”\n“Food’s ready!” Oreo appears with a pot in her paws. She places the cookware in the center of the wooden surface and pops off the top, allowing steam to escape. In the pot is a variety of fish, soy sauce, sea salt, sesame oil, chili pepper, and seaweed mixed together to form a special salad. “It’s my first time making poke. Let me know what you think.” She scoops three spoonfuls to put on her plate. “Well, go on. Give it a try.” Zach and Daji copy her spoonful measurement before tasting the freshly-made dish. “Thoughts?”\nDaji shrugs. “Eh… It’s okay. Not exquisite like Frenchfry’s cooking, but you did good.” \n“This is delicious!” Zach smiles. “I feel like I’m eating an angel’s wing!” \nOreo chuckles. “Glad you like it.” \nZach can’t resist the urge to shovel more into his mouth, but he attempts to control himself to show better manners. “Um… Heh… So… Moving on… How did you two start dating?”\n“Oh… It’s quite an interesting story…” Oreo places her fork down to rest as she begins to explain. “I was working at my tea shop when Daji walked in. That was when I spilt tea all over myself because I was smitten by her. I couldn’t resist seeing how attractive she was… Embarrassed, I went to go sit outside on the balcony and looked up at the stars. Then, I realized Daji came up next to me and put her arm on my shoulder, telling me that it was okay and just an accident. I was so flushed by Daji, I didn’t know what to say next, other than the truth. We just stood there for a while, blushing. After that night, we started to see each other more often and we just… got closer. We’ve been together ever since.”\nZach smiles. “You two make a wonderful couple. You do look like the type to be into girls.”\n“Oh, I’m not just into girls. I don’t mind guys, either.”\n“Really? That makes two of us.”\n“You’re bisexual as well?” Daji asks. Zach nods. “Well, guess that’s something we have in common as well. I didn’t start dating Oreo after I broke up with a Leroy clone. That boy was abusive…”\n“Leroy?” Zach repeats. “Is he an experiment?”\n“Yeah, but it’s best to leave things unsaid. Believe me, you don’t want to know just yet.” Through the duration of the conversation, the gang finishes their meals. \n“That was really good, Oreo,” Zach tells the dalmatian experiment. “My complements to the chef.” \nOreo stands with a smile and collects the dishes, going back into the kitchen with them and washing them in the sink. After cleaning them, she returns to the two aliens. “Well, what should we do now? Watch a movie or something? We’ve still got time before bed.”\n“I don’t know…” Zach places his paw on his head. “Not sure if I feel up to a movie…”\n“What’s the matter with you?” Daji queries. “You feeling okay?”\n“Just a headache,” Zach responds. “Nothing too bad… Some rest is all I need…”\n“Sure,” Oreo says. “No biggy.”\n“Where will I be sleeping?”\n“The couch,” Daji adds. “Sorry, but I don’t trust you well enough to have you snoring up our room.”\n“Fair enough,” Zach replies. “I don’t think I’d want to be in your room, anyway. Um, nothing personal…”\n“All is good!” Oreo keeps her smile. “Let me just get you a blanket and a pillow from the laundry space!” She goes over to the door near the entrance and opens it. There stands the washer and dryer beside each other. Reaching into the portal of the dryer, she pulls out a blanket while taking a pillow from the top of the shelf above. She closes the closet door and approaches the couch with the pillow under her arm and the blanket in another. Oreo places the pillow at one of the armrests of the couch and the blanket next to it. “There. A nice little spot for you to sleep.”\n“Thanks,” Zach responds. He plants his seat in between the pillow and blanket. The grey alien lifts himself and shifts his legs toward the longer end of the couch, making sure his back is facing the pillow. Grabbing the blanket, he lies back and pulls it up over his body, covering him from any breeze that would dare give him chills. His head presses firmly against the pillow, sinking halfway into the foundation. \n“Comfy?” utters the dalmatian alien. Zach gives her a nod. “Have a good night, Zach. See you when the sun rises.” \n“Oreo… Thank you… You’re the kindest, uh, alien I’ve ever met.” She smiles, then heads off to her room with Daji following, shutting the lights on her way in. The sudden pound against his head causes Zach to shift himself so that his body lies on its side. He closes his eyes, hoping the pain would be brief and disappear. It is only the beginning, however. \n","writing_bbcode_parsed":"Oreo ambles down the sidewalk with her new companion, Zach, beside her. Did you see our room? Cool, right?”
“How come you two don’t share a bed together?”
“Oh. Daji and I have our own ideas for designing the room the way we see it. We decided to split the room in half and have our own side. Pretty neat idea, right?”
“I guess…” The clang of a bell resonates from the kitchen. The grey experiment’s ears shoot up as he turns to where the source of the sound came from. “What was that?”
“Oh!
Zach tries to stir up a conversation with Daji. “So… every experiment has powers, right? What makes you so special?”
“I gain the trust of those I talk with,” she tells him. “Then, I go and attack with my claws and teeth. I know you saw them already.”
“Y-yeah… I did…”
“What about you? What kind of powers do you have? Telekinesis, I assume?”
“Uh… I guess… I remember that Jumba guy saying I did, but I don’t know how it all works… I never used them before like I did at the festival… It’s all new to me…”
“Well, you’ll know in time. It is strange, however. Usually experiments know how to use their abilities. I never met an experiment who didn’t know how their powers worked.”
“Food’s ready!” Oreo appears with a pot in her paws. “Thoughts?”
Daji shrugs. “Eh… It’s okay. Not exquisite like Frenchfry’s cooking, but you did good.”
“This is delicious!” Zach smiles. “I feel like I’m eating an angel’s wing!”
Oreo chuckles. “Glad you like it.”
Zach can’t resist the urge to shovel more into his mouth, but he attempts to control himself to show better manners. “Um… Heh… So… Moving on… How did you two start dating?”
“Oh… It’s quite an interesting story…” Oreo places her fork down to rest as she begins to explain. We’ve been together ever since.”
Zach smiles. “You two make a wonderful couple. You do look like the type to be into girls.”
“Oh, I’m not just into girls. I don’t mind guys, either.”
“Really? That makes two of us.”
“You’re bisexual as well?” Daji asks. Zach nods. “Well, guess that’s something we have in common as well. I didn’t start dating Oreo after I broke up with a Leroy clone. That boy was abusive…”
“Leroy?” Zach repeats. “Is he an experiment?”
“Yeah, but it’s best to leave things unsaid. Believe me, you don’t want to know just yet.” Through the duration of the conversation, the gang finishes their meals.
“That was really good, Oreo,” Zach tells the dalmatian experiment. “My complements to the chef.”
Oreo stands with a smile and collects the dishes, going back into the kitchen with them and washing them in the sink. After cleaning them, she returns to the two aliens. “Well, what should we do now? Watch a movie or something? We’ve still got time before bed.”
“I don’t know…” Zach places his paw on his head. “Not sure if I feel up to a movie…”
“What’s the matter with you?” Daji queries. “You feeling okay?”
“Just a headache,” Zach responds. “Nothing too bad… Some rest is all I need…”
“Sure,” Oreo says. “No biggy.”
“Where will I be sleeping?”
“The couch,” Daji adds. “Sorry, but I don’t trust you well enough to have you snoring up our room.”
“Fair enough,” Zach replies. “I don’t think I’d want to be in your room, anyway. Um, nothing personal…”
“All is good!” Oreo keeps her smile. “There. A nice little spot for you to sleep.”
“Thanks,” Zach responds.
“Comfy?” utters the dalmatian alien. Zach gives her a nod. “Have a good night, Zach. See you when the sun rises.”
“Oreo… Thank you… You’re the kindest, uh, alien I’ve ever met.” She smiles, then heads off to her room with Daji following, shutting the lights on her way in. The sudden pound against his head causes Zach to shift himself so that his body lies on its side. He closes his eyes, hoping the pain would be brief and disappear. It is only the beginning, however.
","pools_count":0,"title":"EXP 630 Episode 2: New Friends","deleted":"f","public":"t","mimetype":"image/png","pagecount":"1","rating_id":"0","rating_name":"General","ratings":[],"submission_type_id":"12","type_name":"Writing - Document","guest_block":"f","friends_only":"f","comments_count":"0","views":"29","sales_description":null,"forsale":"f","digitalsales":"f","printsales":"f","digital_price":""}
