Grabbing her jacket from the passenger's seat and slipping it on, Veronica prepared to brave the frigid winter winds outside of her car. The gray wolf normally had no problem with cold weather and often dressed light, but even she drew the line when it was a blizzard with wind chill that went into double digits. She was dressed casually in a pair of jeans, thick socks and sneakers, and a t-shirt underneath her jacket – with the jacket to stop the wind and her fur for warmth, it was all she needed. It had been one heck of a drive; with only a few days left before Christmas, the roads had been clogged with travelers – like her – making their way to gatherings with friends and family. It didn't help that someone had crashed into the dividing barricade on the highway and brought traffic to a crawl, slowing her down by an hour. Fortunately, that had happened after she had bought lunch from one of the highway rest stops, giving her ample time to eat it. The wolf paused only to gather up the detritus from her lunch: a single plastic bag containing a clamshell Styrofoam box with nothing left of the burger that had come in it, an open-topped cardboard box long since emptied of fries, a paper cup drained of iced tea, and several napkins she had cleaned her fingers with. With the bag in one hand, she opened the door and immediately felt the cold winds buffeting her, her jacket and thick gray fur only doing so much to protect her. Fortunately, the hotel parking lot had been cleared of snow and salted, meaning she at least didn't have to worry about slipping on any ice. She opened the rear doors to pull a suitcase from the gaps between the front and back seats; her trunk was stuffed with presents she'd brought up to take to her family's house the next day and put under the tree. Despite being an only child, her extended family wasn't small, and plenty of aunts, uncles, cousins and even more distant relatives would be showing up. Her parents' place in the mountains would be pretty busy, and the few guest rooms there had been given to the elderly relatives, leaving Veronica to book a room at a nearby hotel. Closing the doors and locking her car, she hurried her way towards the front doors of the hotel, its brightly-lit sign acting like a beacon in the cold, wintery night. Several of the cars, pickups and vans she passed had ski gear secured to the roof racks; if she could get the time, she planned to rent some gear and go skiing while she was in the area. But Veronica had other immediate plans. Her family, she would visit tomorrow, and the slopes, she'd hit a few days after Christmas. Right now she needed to get up to her room before it got any later. After checking in at the front desk, getting her room key and taking the elevator up to her room, she rushed over to her room and swiped the keycard at the lock, tugging her suitcase inside afterwards. The room was small but cozy and well-furnished. There was a double bed, which would give her space to sprawl. Opposite the foot of the bed, a TV was secured to the wall, with a table under it holding cups, glasses, a kettle, and everything else she might need to make tea or coffee, with a pre-printed note welcoming her to the hotel. A single wooden chair was positioned near the window, the thick curtains opened to reveal the snowstorm outside as flecks of white danced past the window amidst the inky blackness of the night outside. The heater was already running, keeping the room nice and cozy. And finally, nestled in the corner of the room was an empty desk with a simple swiveling chair pushed under it. Next to the desk was a trashcan, and Veronica dropped the bag from her lunch into it to free up her hand. Veronica hauled her suitcase up onto the bed and tugged the zipper open. Sandwiched between layers of clothes to keep it safe was her prize: her gaming laptop and all her gear. While it was a few years old, it was more than enough for what she needed it for right now. She'd checked ahead of time to make sure there would be a good internet connection at the hotel, but she still had to hurry. Still wearing her winter jacket, she started assembling her makeshift gaming station: cooling pad, laptop, headset, mouse and keyboard. She opened up the laptop to let it come out of standby, only then stopping to take off her jacket and hang it off the back of her chair, grabbing her headset and putting it on. A card she had been given along with the room key contained the wifi password and network name. Veronica glanced at the time. 8:55. She was going to be cutting it close. She pulled out her phone and opened up the group chat she had with Sammy, Nina and Lydia, swiping out a message as fast as she could: "Sorry got helps up but traffic be there soon!" She winced at autocorrect butchering her message, but it got the point across, so she sent it and turned her attention back to her computer. As soon as she was connected to wifi, she fired up the launcher for Legacy of Dragonfall, the MMO she was supposed to be playing with her friends. On the hour, a timed event would be beginning for the latest raid, one that would start without her if she was even a second too late. Each revolution of the little spinner by the progress bar as she loaded into the game felt like an eternity, but she managed to get in by 8:57. As the world faded in around her, she was barraged by in-game voice chatter: "There she is!" Sammy squeaked. "Glad you made it." Lydia commented a moment later. "I'd hate to miss this." "Sweet, we have our healer!" Nina chimed in, giving a chuckle. "Just kidding, it's great to see you, V. What happened?" Veronica inhaled and gave an overly dramatic sigh. "Yeah, sorry, traffic and snow, I'll tell you later." she said, watching Sammy's character cheering for her arrival as Lydia's gave a small round of applause. "Glad I got myself set up ahead of time. If you've all been waiting for me you don't have any excuse to not be ready, so let's get in there." -------------------- The event was a huge instanced dungeon for smaller groups; even guilds would get split up upon entering. Veronica and her group had hit the level cap some time ago, but still scheduled time to join in for major events and new content. Of course, since this event was geared towards max-level players, it only took a few minutes for Veronica to realize this one was going to be a real gauntlet. Which was going to be a problem, because after such a long drive, she badly needed to pee. In the rush of getting into the hotel and getting set up, she hadn't stopped to use the bathroom; she had cut it so close that if she had, she would have missed the timed event, and the group would have had to wait an hour for the next run – which wouldn't work with Lydia's schedule. Veronica bit her lip as she pressed her legs together and tried to ignore the pressure in her bladder, instead focusing on casting another round of buffs on her party. It didn't help that this dungeon was brutally difficult, but not for the usual reasons. A lot of the postgame content involved throwing more and more ridiculously strong bosses around that could flatten characters in one or two hits if they weren't careful, but instead, this one was all about hordes. Constant hordes. "Help, Veronica!" Sammy squeaked out on the in-game voice, and the wolf quickly shifted her attention, selecting and casting spells as fast as she could. Normally, Veronica wouldn't mind this sudden gameplay change, as it mixed things up quite a bit, and was manageable with constant vigilance. Which, unfortunately, meant no breaks. When her team could get wiped in ten seconds if they weren't careful enough, she definitely had no time to pause and step away for a few minutes. "I'll just have to hold it until we get a break." Veronica mumbled to herself, keeping her finger off her push-to-talk key so her friends wouldn’t overhear. The game provided a good distraction from her need to relieve herself; her attention was constantly being divided between her allies as she threw heal after heal onto Nina's paladin, casting and stacking buffs on Sammy's ranger, and sending a spell to Lydia's thief whenever she had a moment to spare. The three of them kept the numerous monsters – skeletons, right now – from getting to Veronica, so that she had fewer things to worry about. But every time Veronica thought that things were calming down, another wave of enemies would show up. For minutes she squirmed and shifted in her chair, her right hand moving and clicking her mouse rapidly. She squeezed her legs together while her left hand danced over the keys to select macros and abilities. The wolf clenched her inner muscles to hold in her pee as she called out to the others whenever she saw a threat or needed them to move. Finally, despite a few close calls, the last enemy dropped, and Veronica breathed a sigh of relief, leaning back in her chair. "Okay, I'm going to-" she began, but then saw a message show up at the top of the screen: "Entering next area in 10", it said, the '10' becoming a '9' as it counted down. "Who triggered the area change?" Veronica demanded, abruptly sitting up straight. "I didn't do anything!" Sammy squeaked. "Me either." Nina responded, "I think it's automatic." Veronica groaned inwardly, casting a glance over to the bathroom door in her hotel room. "Okay, when the next area loads, let's take a moment to regroup; that was pretty insane." "I think I was down to double-digit health a few times." Nina agreed. Taking a breath, Veronica pressed her legs together again as she felt a brief pang of need from her bladder. She was getting desperate. Shaking her head, she looked back at the loading bar on the screen to gauge how long it would take, and... "Entering zone two OF SIX?!" she blurted out in disbelief, putting a hand to her face and accidentally pushing her headphones back a bit. "If they're all like this we're going to be here for a while yet." She took another breath to calm herself and held down the push-to-talk key. "Okay, when we all load in, don't press -anything-. Don't move, don't cast anything, and don't go anywhere. Just. Stay. Put." The loading screen disappeared moments later to bring them into the next zone: more caves, this time with deep reddish walls and cracks of lava running through them. And more troubling, a horde of demons and imps approaching the party at their starting position: a group of tables and crates with a few supplies to help them recover before the attack reached them. "Sorry, V, no can do." Nina said, putting her character between the horde and the party. "We've got company." Veronica groaned again, shaking her head before speaking to the group. "Looks like it. Okay, group up so I can buff all of us, please." At a better time, Veronica would have appreciated the dungeon design more, but her aching bladder made it hard to consider the onslaught of enemies throwing different attacks at them anything but an annoyance. After wincing heavily and pulling her legs up closer to herself a little from another moment of sharp discomfort, she knew she wasn't going to make it even halfway through the dungeon. Starting an area heal with a long animation, she glanced to her side. The paper-wrapped cups and glasses were the logical choice, but they were on the other side of the room, and each one would be far too small by itself. The kettle that was with them would be big enough, but in addition to being just as far away, Veronica wanted to actually use it to make some coffee at some point. Her suitcase didn't really- "Oh-! Ugh, sorry Veronica, I'm dead already." Lydia's voice came, snapping Veronica's attention back to the game. "Yeah, they really hurt." she heard Nina remark. "You're gonna need to keep invisibility up." Veronica grimaced as she tried to salvage the situation, which took another minute of keeping Sammy and Nina from going down and getting enough protections up to be able to safely get a resurrection spell off on Lydia. While that animation was playing out, she looked around again, squirming and fidgeting in her seat – she was surely going to wet herself if she didn't find something to piss in soon. Swiveling her seat, she felt her right foot bump something, and looked down. Her foot had nudged the trash can where she had put her garbage from lunch: a square metal bin with no lid that was bigger at the top then at the bottom, with a clear bag inside. It wasn't particularly large, only slightly bigger than a foot high, but it would be big enough. Returning her gaze to the monitor and quickly throwing more spells at Nina's character to stop her from dying, Veronica awkwardly tried to get her feet around the trashcan and move it closer. It was thankfully quite light, but it would have been difficult at the best of times, and trying to do it without looking, with her feet, while also keeping her thighs pressed together to avoid wetting herself only made it harder. She almost tipped it over at one point and had to stop abruptly, but eventually managed to drag it over between her legs and somewhat close to the front of the chair. The next part was going to be tricky: She'd have to get her pants off. Relying on just the mouse and clicking on her hotbar icons instead of using the keyboard, she moved her left hand down and undid the button on her jeans. Then she swapped hands, going with just the keyboard for a moment as she unzipped with her right hand. Continuing to swap to one hand at a time, she shuffled and wiggled around in her seat as she pushed her jeans down, splitting her attention between the action on-screen, and keeping her muscles clenched to hold in her bladder. Once she got the waistband around her rump and under her thighs, she lifted her legs and jammed a hand into the waistband at the front to push her jeans to her knees, where she was able to shift her legs until the denim fell to her ankles. That just left her panties, and as soon as her long area heal came off of cooldown, she used it again and stuck her thumbs into the waistband of them while the animation was going. In the few seconds she had she got them to her knees and then down to her ankles with her pants. Her bare, fur-covered rump was now sat directly on the seat, and she shuffled herself forward on the seat to sit at the very edge of it, getting ready to release before her bladder gave in of its own accord. "Need some help here, V!" Nina called out, and Veronica's attention was drawn away again. She positioned her cursor over Nina's character and then looked down as she blindly selected and cast her spells. The trashcan was positioned with the rim almost underneath the edge of the seat – close enough, for her purposes. It was a little off-center, but not enough to really matter. Veronica grimaced and let out a low grunt as she felt another spasm in her belly, and knew it was going to be now or never. She spread out her legs and took in a breath, trying to relax, bending her legs at the knees to put her feet under the chair and keep her clothes as far as possible from any potential spray. "Wait, what's that?" Veronica heard Sammy say, but her attention was elsewhere. Leaning forward and half-closing her eyes as she felt an intense relief from the pressure in her bladder, the wolf let out a groan of relief as she relaxed and almost immediately began to piss at full strength. Her stream shot out from her urethra and into the trashcan, rustling the plastic bag from her lunch as the hard flow impacted it and sprayed off all in all directions inside the can. Droplets of urine pattered on the napkins and soaked into them, and ran down the outside of the empty drink cup. "Looks like a miniboss." Lydia observed. Veronica let out a deep sigh – and then fully realized what her friends were saying as the combat music suddenly picked up a more dramatic chord. In a moment of panic, she sat upright and returned her focus to the game entirely, the sound of her stream completely drowned out by the game audio, even as her sudden change of position caused it to drift higher, and eventually off-target. Unbeknownst to her, Veronica's forceful jet of urine sailed over the trashcan completely, striking the wall behind the desk and running down the wallpaper to the baseboard below. From there, as more of her pee hammered on the wall, it ran down and began soaking into the carpet fibers, darkening them in color. Relying on muscle memory, Veronica cycled through her macros as her party turned to face the towering demon stomping towards them, its healthbar appearing at the top of the screen. With the moment of respite, she reached up and lifted off one of her earpieces. She expected to hear rustling from either her plastic bag, or the one lining the trash; instead, other than the hissing of her piss leaving her body, all she heard was a heavy pattering sound like water striking a hard surface... Risking a glance away from the screen, she saw that she was pissing on the wall instead, and a whispered expletive slipped from her lips as she quickly adjusted her position. She moved her chair back and leaned forward, lining her stream up again, now pissing against the top of the empty clamshell of Styrofoam in the trash, producing a loud hollow sound. "Holy shit, he just DEMOLISHED me." Nina said, snapping Veronica's attention back to the game. "Gonna need a rez, V!" As the wolf quickly put her headphone back into place and turned her focus back to the game, she subconsciously shifted her position, causing her stream to be angled further down. It sprayed against the front of the trashcan at a sharp angle and ran down it to the carpet below, soaking into it. And as Veronica unleashed the rest of her once burstingly-full bladder onto it, her piss saturated the fibers and began spreading out in a puddle away from the trashcan, as well as going around the base of the can itself. The metallic sound of her stream hitting the exterior of the can didn't reach her ears past the headphones, and so she unwittingly continued to blast the rest of her pee onto the carpet below. As suddenly as it had begun, Veronica's stream came to a halt, the wolf giving a few clenches to squeeze the last drops out onto the floor – which she thought was the trash – out of muscle memory. Without the time or free hands to wipe herself, she instead shifted back and rubbed her bare slit against the edge of the seat before moving back completely to lean against the back of the chair. She'd managed to get the situation in-game back under control with some well-timed spells, staying back to heal as the others whittled down the boss's healthbar at a surprisingly fast pace. "Um, are you okay, Veronica?" Sammy inquired after a few moments as her ranger stayed back and out of the danger. "You've been awfully quiet." "Oh, yeah, I'm fine, sorry." Veronica replied, trying to think of a reply while also juggling her spells. "There was some background noise, that's all." No longer bothered by her bladder, Veronica was able to properly take command again, and before long the miniboss had fallen. As they cheered, Veronica saw the message pop up at the top once again: "Entering next area in 10..." With her brief moment of reprieve, she spared a look down under the desk. The wall was drenched, beads of wolf urine still running down it towards the puddle at the carpet. A huge puddle at the base of the trashcan told the story of what had happened since she'd last looked, and somehow the inside of the can was still thoroughly soaked by what she had been able to get in there, the napkins saturated and yellow. "Damn," she muttered, reaching down and tugging her pants and panties back up, "I would have made less of a mess if I'd just pissed on the floor directly..."
