"Come on, come on, come on...!" Terra leaned closer to her monitor, glaring at the progress bar for the download of World of Nectar. It looked full to her, but the little spinner next to the bar was still going and it said "99%" next to it. Even though she had pre-ordered the game and had been in the beta, she still needed to update in order to be allowed to play. The blue-furred Jex was dressed in nothing more than her underwear as she sat in the chair in front of her computer desk, drumming her fingers on the wooden surface. Everything was all set up to go and hooked in, the special VR headset from the manufacturer resting between her monitors and the keyboard. "Come ON," she groaned in frustration, "How long-" She cut herself off when it ticked up to 100%, letting out a cheer and pumping a fist into the air, only to groan and bring her hands to her face as the "Downloading..." text changed to "Installing..." and the progress bar started anew. "Okay, screw this, I'm going to get a drink!" Terra complained, getting up and pushing her chair back. -------------------- Elsewhere, Lynn was finishing the process of connecting her headset and calibrating it, dressed in just shorts and a t-shirt. The husky had camped out overnight at the game store just to make sure she would get her hands on one, and even then she had still been third in line behind two people who had gotten there even before her. Still, she had gotten the headset and game combo box, ignored the pleas of others waiting in line outside for her to sell it to them, and had taken it home to get set up and online immediately. World of Nectar was all she had thought about for the last few days, and she had been obsessing over it for longer than that. A brand new, innovative MMORPG – in technology, at least. The theme was the standard high fantasy adventure, but what made World of Nectar different was that it was all in VR, and required its own special headset to play. At first people had suspected it of just being a ploy to sell headsets, but the beta testers had reported – as much as they could, anyway – that the headsets had several unique features that other models simply couldn't even hope to compare to. Exactly what those were was mostly left to speculation due to non-disclosure agreements and an army of lawyers, but the fact that World of Nectar was rated for 21+ and older only certainly gave people a few ideas. Green lights lit up on the side of the headset, and a small window popped up on her computer informing her that the connection had been successful. Finally! She wasted no time in sitting herself down into her chair and firing up the MMO client. She had already gone through the registration process the previous day: creating an account, verifying her age, opting out of all the marketing emails they wanted to send, and so on. She was giddy with glee when the client popped up a big checkmark with a message saying it had connected to the headset, and she needed to put it on. Snatching it up off the desk, she did just that. It was big, bulky and gray, and covered her entire head except for her muzzle, with little slots in the top for her ears to poke out of. But she couldn't see anything inside of it for a moment, and started to wonder if something was wrong... ...but just as she was about to reach up to take it off, she heard a humming noise from around her, and felt something pressing against her head. For a few moments she felt very strange, and then she felt almost nothing at all; the chair under her and the floor under her feet both seemed to vanish, yet she wasn't falling. Instead, it was more like she was weightless. And then, suddenly, she could see again. "Welcome to World of Nectar!" a pre-recorded female voice told her. An overhead view of a forest scrolled by below her, but it wasn't a mere image; she heard and felt the wind blowing past her, and as she looked around, she saw she was floating in the air, being carried along by some invisible force. Looking down, she seemed to be invisible too for the moment, hopefully just for this demo reel. The voice continued to talk, telling her about World of Nectar and all of the wonderful things that you could do in it. The scene changed between numerous locations, no doubt all from the MMO: tall mountains, dusty dungeon corridors, a volcano, an underwater city, a desert, and so on. Special attention was paid to an enormous black tower jutting up from the ground atop a plateau, going so high that it disappeared into the clouds and out of sight, the 'camera' orbiting around it for several seconds. Most of these locations, Lynn had already seen in teaser trailers and other promotional material from the developer, but some of them were new to her, and filled her with excitement. Other players and characters were visible in a lot of shots, many with incredibly fancy and probably very high-level gear, fighting nasty-looking monsters. It gave her a glimpse of what she might be able to see in the game if she kept at it for long enough. "Experience a fantastic world with never-before-seen immersive realism features!" the voice told her. Images rapidly went past her as the voice told her about the need to watch out for hot and cold temperatures, as well as the need to eat, drink, sleep, and urinate. ...wait, had she heard that last one correctly? She must have, because at the mention of temperatures she had felt hot and then cold air against her fur, and then briefly felt hungry, thirsty, tired, and finally, a pressure in her lower abdomen that went away again right afterwards. Before she could ponder on that for long, the introductory movie moved on, and panned over a large city before showing the World of Nectar logo for a few seconds. "If you think you have what it takes to ascend to the top of the Black Marble Tower, all you need to do to begin is create your character!" the voice helpfully concluded. Lynn suddenly found herself in the character creation screen. At first it was just a featureless mannequin, but as she thought about what she wanted her character to look like, within moments the mannequin was shifting and changing before her. She didn't even have to pick from a set of menu options or something like that; it was matching the mental image she had had almost perfectly! It even seemed able to offer suggestions, as she wasn't sure exactly what color to make the fur; but as she mulled over that, several boxes with potential options appeared to let her pick from merely by focusing on one of them. Soon, a tall, strong, Amazonian wolfess stood before her, her fur dark gray with a white underside. The character was seemingly doing nothing; Lynn had expected it to at least have some sort of an idle animation, but at least it wasn't T-posing at her. As she tried to reflexively tilt her head in confusion, she saw the wolfess make the same motion, and as she let out a "Huh" in wonder, she saw the wolf's mouth move. The headset was already reading her thoughts perfectly, it seemed, even if the end result was a weird out-of-body experience. With that in mind, she focused more on the design that she was looking at. It was a fantasy, so why not go all-out? The wolf's breasts grew a bit larger as she stared at them, giving her a decently-sized chest to make up for lacking any such endowment in real life. Nodding in approval – and seeing the wolf do the same – she followed up by adding a little more roundness to the wolfess's hips and rump. MMO's were the kind of game where you could get away with a chainmail bikini that could offer more defense than plate mail, so why not lean into it a bit? But with that in mind, she tried to focus on an outfit, and couldn't. Even when she attempted to picture a proper suit of chainmail, or even some leather, the wolf was left in the default underclothes: some simple cloth panties and a bra. 'Well, that's annoying,' she thought to herself. Then again, her starting gear would probably dictate her appearance at the beginning, so she probably didn't have any choice on that front. "Can I change my voice?" she asked out loud, but nothing happened. She tried again, trying to focus on how she wanted the wolf to sound; deeper yet still feminine. Her voice came out in the tone she wanted, and after a brief moment of surprise at discovering that that had actually worked, she nodded and looked around. "So, is there a menu or something...?" she wondered, reaching around aimlessly, the wolfess copying her movements. A semi-transparent set of shimmering gray buttons appeared in the air in front of her, but she didn't see another set in front of the wolf, so she assumed it must have been visible to her. This whole 'controlling the game with your mind' thing was going to take some getting used to, but it seemed easy enough so far. Next to the buttons was an outline of her character, and a few colored bars and some stats. Only 100 HP to start with, and no MP at all – and no BP, whatever that yellow bar indicated. At least her food, thirst and sleep meters all started off maxed out. After that, she looked over the buttons. She couldn't see her own hands, but if she focused her attention on a button enough, the game interpreted that as pressing it. There was one to continue, one to restart, and another to fine-tune things manually. She looked quickly over the manual controls, but there still wasn't anything for picking clothing, so she pressed the continue button. She was tossed into an empty black void with a spotlight shining on her from nowhere, but at least she was now properly 'in' her character, viewing from a first person perspective. Enormous numbers off in the distance counted downwards towards zero, already at 47, and she looked down at herself. She had finally been given some basic clothes, but it was little more than a plain shirt and a skirt that looked almost out of place on the tall wolfess. Experimentally, she tried moving her arms and legs, and found that it was just as easy as it was in reality. She was still sitting down in her chair at home, right? But she was able to walk around in the void, with the spotlight following her, and with a little experimenting before the timer hit zero she found she could run and throw punches. The void around her suddenly vanished, throwing her through a blue and white tunnel that zoomed past her at incredible speed – or was she flying through it? She was so amazed that when it suddenly dumped her out into a grassy field, she wasn't prepared, and ended up falling on her back on the ground, her skirt flipping up for a brief moment before she reflexively reached down and pushed it back into place. She had to hand it to the devs, the grass she had tumbled onto certainly smelled and felt authentic. She just hadn't expected to touch it with her face first. Getting to her feet, she looked around at her surroundings. Other players were entering the game along with her, slightly staggered in their arrival times, all of them as poorly equipped as her. There was no shortage of variety, though, given the power of the character creator and how easy it was to use: mammals, reptiles, avians, even aquatic creatures like sharks seemed to be represented by the avatars people had made, several of which had been far more indulgent on chest size than Lynn had been. Even species from other video games seemed to be represented, much to Lynn's surprise. And fortunately, she wasn't the only one to make a less than graceful landing, as other arriving players stumbled or fell over, another fox girl nearby faceplanting with her ass in the air for a moment, making Lynn chuckle. The grass Lynn was standing on was part of a grand courtyard in front of an enormous white stone castle with purple roofs and parapets, flying colorful red and yellow banners. All around her was the starting city, filled with everything a beginning adventurer might need. She hoped there was some sort of tutorial somewhere nearby, at least; she wasn't expecting to be thrown directly into the game proper without some kind of instruction. As she considered her first move, another player entered right in front of her. Blue-furred and with intricate light blue lines running across her body, the player – 'Terra, the Reincarnate', according to the nametag that floated over her head when Lynn stared at her – made a perfect three-point landing on the grass. She was wearing a white jacket with a red and black skirt, and Lynn frowned jealously, wondering if Terra had known some trick or had simply paid extra to start with some cosmetic gear. Immediately, Terra stood up and stretched before heading off confidently. She seemed to know what she was doing, so Lynn followed after her. Terra went down one of the city's cobbled streets and headed into a building marked as the Adventurer's Guild, and came out a few moments later equipped a little more sensibly: Lynn saw that she now had a bronze sword and a backpack, and an additional line of text under her name that said 'Level 1'. So as Terra wandered towards the north gate, Lynn hurried into the guild along with several other new players. Inside there were several racks of weapons and armor, but she couldn't seem to interact with them at all – they were purely for decoration. Trying to remove a sword from the rack was impossible, as if it was welded into place. But behind a long desk were several NPCs in various stereotypical outfits: an armored knight, a wizard, a thief, and so on. Or at least, Lynn assumed they were NPCs, since they had a nametag over their heads when she looked at them just like with the players, but they simply stood in place and only reacted when they were directly interacted with. To be fair, the fact that they were all listed as being exactly level 30 clued her in that they weren't likely to be staff members, either. Other players were approaching one of the NPCs and suddenly receiving starter equipment and their class, so after a moment of thought Lynn made her way towards the armored knight – or the 'Master Fighter' according to their tag – and got a sword and backpack of her own. Not much, but certainly better than fighting bare-handed. She checked her inventory and didn't see anything else, not even a single coin to start her off. So, leaving the increasingly-crowded building, she pushed her way back to the street and, not having any better ideas, went the same way Terra had gone. She'd have to earn money somehow. -------------------- "Aaaand gotcha!" Terra taunted as she lunged forward and stabbed her sword downwards into the green slime in front of her. It burbled and wobbled and then, in true MMO fashion, burst with an explosion of sparkles and rays of light, erupting into a small collection of items. All that was left of it was a handful of coins and a chunk of green slime, both of which Terra grabbed by touching them, whereupon they teleported into her inventory. A buzzing sound behind her alerted her to another enemy, and she spun around to face the oversized bee flying towards her. Terra's heart was racing from excitement; even though she'd played in the beta, they'd really improved on it since then! Every hit felt real, the sword in her hand had actual weight, and even the ground felt like it was really there whenever she landed on it. She had already hit level 4 and unlocked a couple of special skills, so she brought her sword back and charged it, hitting the bee with a huge swing while her sword glowed red. It was knocked back and floated in the air unsteadily, complete with little stars circling over its head, and two strikes later it fell to the ground and disappeared in a burst of lights to leave behind some money and a honey droplet, both of which Terra grabbed. She looked around quickly for another target. The mobs seemed to spawn out of sight in bushes, rock formations, or among other features like the big beehive on a nearby tree. A red slime oozed out from a bush and Terra jumped on it immediately, her sword shimmering as she landed a first strike for some bonus damage. Darting backwards out of the way as the slime swung its body at her, she used her charged attack again and defeated it on the second hit. Energy surged through her suddenly and she let out a war cry as a bright yellow aura surrounded her for a brief moment. "Fuuuuuck yes!" she shouted out, clenching her fists and pumping her arms; the level-up animation FELT as good as it looked, a shock of euphoria so intense it was only a little bit shy of being orgasmic. Backing away from the bush so she wouldn't draw any aggro, Terra immediately opened up her menu to pick another skill, noting that her HP had been refilled. Maybe she ought to delve into the magic skills a bit, and do a fighter/mage build...? Just after she picked the initial firebolt spell and set it as an action, which also gave her a big increase of max MP to work with, she saw someone approaching. There were plenty of other players around, of course; it was the starting area just outside of the city, and a natural place to begin an adventuring career. But what drew Terra's attention was that the big wolfess approaching her clearly didn't know what she was doing; she didn't even have her sword out and ready, but she was walking right into a hostile zone, and was getting perilously close to one of the bushes. Had she not gone through the tutorial area? Had it been full, perhaps? Seeing Terra looking at her, the wolf – Lynn, according to the nametag that showed up to Terra – waved and called out to her. "Oh, hello!" But before Terra could warn her, the bushes beside her rustled, and a green slime leapt out from it and attacked. Lynn cried out as its blobby form struck her legs, dealing extra damage due to catching her unaware and not in combat mode. "Watch out!" Terra shouted a moment too late, but as Lynn stepped back in reflex, seemingly panicking, Terra ran over to her rescue. She stabbed at the slime, but she didn't get her extra damage for flanking since Lynn wasn't ready for combat; on the plus side, she did draw the slime's attention, and it lashed out at her. She had been expecting to one-shot it, so its attack took her by surprise and struck her side, bits of green acid getting onto her skirt and burning holes into it. "Wait, how do I-" Lynn began, her sword suddenly appearing in her hand after a moment. She swung and struck the slime, but still being at level 1, she did only a small amount of damage to it, and Terra had to finish it off with another strike. Reflexively, she grabbed the money and drop she got from it, then looked up at the wolf. "Hey, I didn't get anything from that!" Lynn complained. "Well, yes. We have to be part of a group to split rewards," Terra explained. "Didn't you do the tutorial?" "Tutorial?" Lynn echoed, and Terra sighed. The wolf continued, "No, I didn't stay in the town for long. I figured I could explore it later, and that I should go get some money first." "Okay, the tutorial house is on the center road leading out from where you started," Terra explained, trying to be helpful to a new player. "Here." She brought her menu up and then held out her hand towards Lynn, who looked at a pop-up message only she could see before taking Terra's hand in a handshake. 'Lynn has joined your group!' a small message informed Terra, and she was suddenly able to see red and yellow colored bars above Lynn's head. The red one wasn't completely full, but at least the green slime was the weakest enemy around so it hadn't taken too big of a chunk out of Lynn, even with the bonus damage from catching her off-guard. "There we go," Terra said happily. "And when you're out here, you need to be careful, enemies spawn in-" She heard a rustling sound and turned around. "-the bushes!" she finished as a blue slime – the strongest type in the area – lunged out and attacked her. It struck her side and got acid all over her skirt, eating through the fabric easily, and hitting her hard. But Terra, staggering back, was ready to hit back just as hard, and decided to try out her new spell. Focusing on it, she held up her free hand, which glowed and shot a small burning bolt, which hit the slime dead center. The slime seemed to be weak to fire as the bolt flashed brightly when it struck, and even being a little weaker since Terra wasn't fully specced into magic, it still did enough damage to one-shot the slime immediately, its form bubbling and then bursting into an item and some money, the latter of which got split between them automatically. "What the fuuuuuck?!" Lynn exclaimed in ecstatic surprise as energy burst out from her, the strong enemy giving her enough XP to level up even with the slight reduction caused by being in a party – not that it took much to get off of level 1 in the first place. "Welcome to level 2," Terra told her with a wink. "Now let's get away from this before something else spawns." But Lynn, panting a little, had turned her attention back to Terra, and was staring wide-eyed. "What?" the Jex asked, before looking down. The slime's acid had dissolved her skirt enough that it had simply fallen away, exposing her fully modeled pussy underneath. In reflex, Terra reached down to cover herself, but it was too late; Lynn had already gotten an eyeful of Terra's slit, and was blushing deeply, her hands raised to her muzzle. "You... you saw, didn't you?" Terra blurted out, flustered and embarrassed as she stepped away from the bush before any more accidents could happen. Her sword disappeared from her hand as she left combat mode, freeing her hand so that she could bring up her menu while keeping her left hand over her slit – though, to Lynn, it looked like Terra was just poking at the air. "You saw everything, didn't you?" "I'm sorry," Lynn apologized, following after Terra. "I didn't mean to, I didn't know that that could even happen!" "Yeah, it can," Terra said between breaths. "Equipment damage is a mechanic. But at least you can regenerate basic clothes..." Lynn tilted her head, and suddenly, a solid white skirt appeared around Terra's waist before taking on the colors of her old one. "Wait, clothes can regenerate?" Lynn asked in wonder. "Damn! I really should have done the tutorial..." "Well, only the basic clothes," Terra explained, taking her hand away from her waist. "They don't want people wandering around fully naked by default. Once you can afford some armor, that just 'falls off' until you get it repaired if its durability gets too low." "I see... I'm surprised you were, um... fully detailed. I couldn't change the basic underwear during character generation. I tried thinking of some armor but it didn't work." Terra managed a little chuckle, her cheeks still flushed. "Yeah, it won't let you start with armor. The trick is to focus on just regular clothes." "Oh," Lynn grumbled. "Didn't you read the manual?" "Well... no," Lynn admitted. "But come on, who includes manuals with video games these days? It should have come with a tutorial!" "It did," Terra pointed out. "I... okay, fair," Lynn conceded. She looked over at Terra again, staring above her head. "Okay, so, the red bar is your health, the blue is your magic... what's the yellow one? BP, right, but what's that?" "Bladder Points," Terra answered. Lynn blinked. "Wait, really? So that thing about needing to urinate was real?" Terra gave a nod. "Yep. And the more it goes up, the more desperate you'll get, and it'll give you a bunch of penalties." "I see..." "Here, tell you what," Terra offered as she brought up the menu again, poking at it to send Lynn a friend request. "I know you're new, so I'll help you out. It's easier to level together! You get a bit less XP for each person in your group, but it's way easier than trying to go alone." "Thank you!" Lynn said brightly as she reached up and tapped a button on her side to accept the friend request. "Oh wow, I'm almost level 3 already." "Those blue slimes are tougher, but worth a lot more," Terra told her. "Maybe we can get another one to spawn. I'm all healed up, we should be good to go." "Wait, how did you-?" "You regenerate while you're not in combat mode. But if you get attacked, you take extra damage." "Ahh, okay," Lynn said, giving a nod. "Maybe you could let me warm up on something first? What's the easiest monster around here?" Terra gave a little sigh, but smiled anyway. "More green slimes it is, then." -------------------- Fortunately, Lynn seemed like a quick learner, and after helping her with a few fights Terra was confident she could leave the wolf alone without her immediately getting beaten up by monsters. While they were grinding they had seen several other players who had had varying amounts of success. Only one player had been defeated that they had noticed, caught between two blue slimes, but he never came back to get his stuff from his body, so Terra assumed whoever it was had simply rage-quit. They both managed to get all the way to level 7; some sort of soft cap in the game at that point meant they were both getting paltry XP, which allowed Lynn to catch up to Terra. Combined with the increased XP needed to level, it was clear they were going to have to move on to somewhere else to make any progress. "So is there any use for these things?" Lynn asked as she looked at her inventory. "I have so many slime blobs and bee stingers." Terra shrugged. "I think they're just vendor trash. Maybe if you had a crafting skill you could make use of them, but I don't think fighters get those." "Darn. Well, more money for me!" Lynn proclaimed. "I think that's enough for me for now, though. I'm going to log out and take a break. It's been super fun! I really want to play again with you soon!" "Same here!" Terra replied. "I'm gonna go sell this stuff first and see if I can get some better gear. I'll let you know what I find." Lynn nodded, raising her hand as she brought up the menu that only she could see. But then she gave a deep frown. "Uh, I can't log out. The button's grayed out." Terra raised an eyebrow and brought up the menu as well. Sure enough, the button to log out was disabled. "Maybe because we're in a hostile zone?" she suggested. "Oh, that makes sense," Lynn agreed. "Should we head back to the starting city?" "Actually, I think there's another town on the other side of this zone. It's probably a lot quieter, so let's go over there." Lynn nodded, and they crossed through the zone, steering as clear from the bushes, beehives and other enemy spawn points as they could. Not that they needed to worry much, as the enemies were only dealing chip damage to them now, and Lynn smacked aside a green slime that tried to get her just before they crossed out from the opening zone and into some wide empty grassy fields beyond that transitioned into big open farms. Their logout buttons were still disabled, so they went on to the town itself – though it was barely more than a village of small thatch-roof buildings. It was a small, quaint little farming town populated only by NPCs as far as they could see, but like any proper MMO town it still had the essentials: a weapon shop, and armor shop, an inn, a general store, and a town square with a small fountain for players to meet and group up before heading out. Once they entered the village, which they were aware of because some floating sparkly text saying "Tymore Village" appeared at the corner of their vision, Lynn brought her menu back up. The 'Logout' button was still disabled, and she frowned deeply. "Terra?" she said in a concerned tone, "I still can't log out." Terra checked, but she wasn't able to either – even after she tapped on the disabled button just in case it was a graphical glitch. "Yeah, that's not good. Hang on, there should be something under the options to contact an admin." Lynn tapped into the options, but while there was a button for it, it was also disabled. Biting her lip, she began to get worried. "What do we do? I don't think I even CAN do anything in the real world, the headset is picking up everything. I guess I'm just... sitting there?" Some more text appeared in their field of vision, scrolling by on the bottom. "An important announcement will be taking place in 15 minutes," it said, read off by the same voice from the introduction trailer. Terra was starting to suspect it was an AI generated voice, rather than pre-recorded. "Please stand by and return to a safe zone." The text continued to scroll repeatedly, but the voice only read it off once. "Well," Terra said with a shrug, "We're already in a safe zone. Let's wait and see what they have to say, and explore a little while we're at it." "All right," Lynn agreed, but she didn't sound very encouraged. Terra, however, power-walked through the village into the town square and over to the fountain. At one side of it there was a small gray stone podium with a black steel plaque on it, and Terra reached out and bumped her fist against it. When she touched it, it lit up and the lettering on it began to glow a bright turquoise color, but it was all written in incomprehensible runes. Lynn walked over, tilting her head. "What are you doing?" she asked. "Fast travel!" Terra told her, stepping aside. "See how it's glowing?" Lynn shook her head. "No, it's not glowing for me." "Well, touch it, then," Terra suggested. Lynn did as she was told, her eyes widening; evidently it only glowed for players who had activated it. "Oh! Yes, now I see. So we can get back to the starting town from here?" "Yep! Remember, there was one of these in the tutori-..." Terra trailed off mid-sentence and frowned, remembering that Lynn hadn't done the tutorial. "...okay, well, we can go back there and get it at some point, it'll be an easy trip. But every town has one somewhere, you just have to find it. They're not always so easy to find – they're meant to encourage you to go look around a bit." "Okay, gotcha," Lynn said with a nod. She sat down on the edge of the fountain and looked around. "I don't see anyone else here. Well, anyone except NPCs." "Everyone else probably headed back instead of pushing on through," Terra guessed. "Or maybe they're on a different server?" "Maybe. We'll see if anyone else shows up before the announcement." But when the 15 minutes had elapsed, they were still alone in the square with only a nearby NPC cheese merchant to keep them company. Terra wasn't entirely sure what to expect when the announcement came, but she certainly wasn't expecting the sky to turn red and the clouds to turn black, with a big video of the game's logo spinning and sparkling appearing in the sky. "Attention, all players of World of Nectar," the AI-generated voice began, its friendly tone a sharp contrast to the sinister background of the blood-red sky. Text scrolled underneath the video, transcribing the voice's words. "We are aware that certain features including logging out and contacting admins are currently disabled. We wish to inform you that this is in fact not a bug, but is an intended part of the gameplay experience." "What?" Lynn gasped aloud. "Our aim is to provide the most authentic fantasy adventure experience in history," the voice went on. "As you have heard, we have implemented many systems to model the needs of an adventurer to eat, sleep, and more. But a real adventurer can't simply stop and come back one week later, so we have removed the ability to log out. The game will go on until someone ascends to the top of Black Marble Tower and defeats the Dread Lich." The video finally changed, showing the location in question, an ebony tower in volcanic land, atop a plateau, matching the one that had been shown in the demo reel at the start of the game. "Of course, this will take quite some time, but don't worry – our patented headsets will take care of all of your needs. As long as you play, your bodies in the real world will be kept alive and in good health." Terra exhaled a little bit; that was a small comfort. She felt relaxed for a moment until the voice continued, "However, a real adventurer only gets one attempt to become a hero, and so will you." The video changed suddenly, showing a fighter in plate armor being attacked by spiders. "If you fall in battle, that's it! Your character will be deleted..." The adventurer suddenly fell to the ground, and a big red X appeared over them, the scene fading to a black background. "...and so will you." The video changed to a pulsing line reminiscent of a hospital's heart monitor, showing it suddenly flatlining with a long, steady beep that faded off into silence. There was a brief pause, and then the video changed to an aerial shot of the starting town and the castle there, normally a peaceful scene, but now there was something sinister about it. "Now that you know what's at stake, you should all take this much more seriously," the voice said in a tone that was far too cheerful for its words. "I look forward to seeing what our players can accomplish when faced with a REAL adventure. Good luck!" The video disappeared, and the text did the same once it finished scrolling, the sky returning to normal. Terra stared where the video had been in silent shock for a few seconds, and then lowered her head – only to see that Lynn had changed. Instead of a large, amazonian wolfess, Lynn was now just a brown and white husky with a much less imposing build. Terra checked herself over, and seemed a lot less athletic than she had initially made her character model out to be. Had they reverted everyone to their IRL appearances? Lynn was too busy panicking to notice. "Oh fuck, oh fuck," Lynn gasped, "They can't... they can't really be doing this, right? It's just... marketing? A theme? They're just trying to be immersive, right? ...right?" "We can't take that risk," Terra told her, standing up from the fountain. "We have to assume it's real." "But, but what if-" "Calm down!" Terra told Lynn, trying to grab onto her and shake her. "Think about what's happened so far. This is still a game. Even if they think it's super realistic, it still has rules. If we learn what they are and take things carefully, we'll be all right." Lynn panted for a moment, then closed her eyes and nodded, exhaling. "Okay. You're right. Thank you. It's still an MMO. We've just gotta... figure out how it works." She stood up from her seat on the fountain's edge, and finally noticed the changes to her body. "Wait a– what the fuck, what happened to me? Why am I... me?" Terra shrugged. "I guess they thought it would be more realistic?" Lynn groaned, and Terra tried to console her, "I think you still look pretty good." "Thanks," Lynn said, then sighed. "Okay, so... where do we start?" Terra stepped back and brought up her menu, looking at her stats. The colored bars seemed to accurately reflect that she felt a little hungry and quite a bit thirsty, and was just starting to get a little tired. "Let's get a meal and some rest. I know that they don't start putting penalties on you until you -really- need to eat, or sleep, or piss, but once you get to that point they stack up quickly. You get a harmless little warning status first, as well, so it doesn't surprise you." Lynn nodded in agreement, so they headed over to the inn. It was a nice little inn with a fox lady in a green dress and a white apron at the front desk, and another male fox at the bar who was clearly meant to look like a retired adventurer, with several scars and an eye patch. Both, however, were NPCs, and while the tavern half of the ground floor had plenty of tables and chairs, they were all unoccupied. Even though the fire in the fireplace crackled merrily, and the decorations on the walls made it look homely, the complete lack of patrons was unsettling in light of the announcement. Terra took a seat at a table and Lynn joined her. "Do you know where we should go next?" Lynn asked. "Well, we're pretty much done with the starter zone," Terra replied. "There's some mountains to the north that I think have tougher enemies, and some caves in there are the next step. But we should rest here for now – there are different monsters at night, and they're almost always nastier than the daytime ones. We could also go east to the lake, it's not great for XP but the enemies there drop healing potions." "You've been there before?" "Yeah, though I don't know if they've changed those areas since the beta, so I'm just going off of my memory. I didn't get any further than the mines." Lynn arched an eyebrow. "Oh, so you were in the beta?" "Err..." Terra began, realizing she had said too much, but took a breath. Given the situation, she had to trust Lynn. "Yeah, I was." Snorting, Lynn grumbled, "How nice of them to not warn you what the real game was going to be like." "Please don't tell anyone," Terra insisted. "I promise I didn't know anything about this. But I don't want people coming after me because they think I had something to do with this." "I won't," Lynn promised, then suddenly looked troubled. "Wait, is there PvP in this game?" "It's supposed to only be in certain zones, but again, I don't know what changed since the beta. So far it's only been some balance changes here and there, but..." Lynn let out a deep sigh. "Well, I hope their realism extends to getting me drunk," she grumbled, looking over at the bartender, who was staring off into space. "Is he going to take our order, or...?" "Oh, right. Video game," Terra muttered absently as she got up and headed over to the counter, leaving Lynn behind. She selected a few items from the menu that popped up when she interacted with the barkeep, and the moment that she hit the 'buy' button, the food and drinks appeared suddenly on the bar, each one disappearing as Terra picked it up and put them in her inventory. She returned to the table to a bemused Lynn, who watched as Terra pulled two frothy mugs of mead and two plates of chicken and rice out from thin air, setting them down on the table. Lynn raised an eyebrow as she stared at the food. "This town doesn't grow rice or raise chickens from what I saw outside," she observed. "Video game logic," Terra remarked with a shrug. "Don't question it. They had seafood stew and gryphon egg omelets on there too." "I... see." Lynn reached out for the plate, realizing Terra hadn't given her any cutlery, but then she noticed she had a knife and fork in her hands already, the game having apparently given her some when she tried to eat much like how her sword just appeared in her hands when she needed it. "...not gonna lie, this is kind of weird." "You get used to it," Terra told her, reaching out and grabbing her mug of mead. "This one's on me, but you're paying if you want any more drinks than this." "Thanks," Lynn said with a nod, watching as Terra picked up the mug and chugged its contents. Gulp after gulp disappeared down Terra's maw, and Lynn raised an eyebrow as she watched the yellow bar above Terra's head visibly fill up as she did, going from merely half-full to three-quarters by the time Terra had drained the mug and set it down with a satisfied gasp. As soon as she let go of it, the empty mug began to disappear, fading out and despawning entirely. Lynn felt a little concerned about her own drink; she already felt the beginnings of the need to pee, and taking a quick glance at her menu, she saw she was already three-quarters full herself. Did Terra have a bigger capacity, or had she simply snuck off somewhere before she left the town? "So, uh," Lynn inquired, "Do you know where the bathrooms are?" "Huh?" Terra asked, looking up from her food. "I have to pee, and um... they added bathrooms, right? Or an outhouse or something for a village like this?" Terra shrugged. "I dunno." "What do you mean you don't know? You played in the beta, right? If you got so much further than this, surely you had to pee at least once." "I did, yeah." "Well then, where did you go?" Lynn asked, raising her mug to her lips. "Wherever I liked," Terra teased with a grin. Lynn spluttered and set the mug back down. "Wait, you can do that?" "Of course! Why wouldn't you be able to?" "So you can just... squat wherever you are and go?" "I could, but I like finding more exciting places to use," Terra answered, smirking. "Like the guardhouse next to the starting city's exit. I snuck in there and marked it on my way out." "And nobody saw you?" "Well, the NPCs did, but they're just NPCs," Terra said with a shrug. "They don't react to it unless they're programmed to." Grinning again, she leaned across the table a bit. "So while we're in this town, until other players show up, you could go anywhere you like..." Lynn blushed a little bit; the idea certainly appealed to her, and she fidgeted in her seat. But was she just being pranked? She bit her lip, then said, "Well then... prove it!" Terra chuckled and stood up, heading over towards the front desk. She stood directly in front of the fox woman, but since she didn't actually start an interaction, the fox did nothing but move her head to vaguely track Terra's location once she got closer. Lynn watched in awe as Terra lifted a leg, set her foot on the edge of the desk, flashing her pussy at the innkeeper in the process as her skirt was lifted, and started pissing. A golden arch of pee splashed out from Terra's slit and struck the front side of the desk, pouring down the wooden surface until it reached the ground where it started to pool up. Lynn felt a little more flustered and squeezed her legs together as she watched, but even though the fox woman was staring directly at Terra, she didn't react at all. Terra grinned over at Lynn and shook her hips, splashing more of the desk and the floor, then cut off her stream with a clench of her muscles and walked back over to Lynn, sitting back down and continuing to eat like nothing out of the ordinary had happened. Lynn looked back at the front desk, staring at the puddle. A tiny label appeared over it that said "???'s marking", but for whatever reason it didn't identify whose it was – maybe there was some sort of skill or class feature that would do that. She shifted a little in her seat, staring at her food, then suddenly stood up and pushed her chair back. Terra only grinned as she watched Lynn make her way over to a corner booth, glancing back towards the innkeeper and bartender furtively, but the NPCs continued to simply stare forward vacantly. So, Lynn climbed up onto the table, and after another glance back, spread her legs and lifted up her skirt, reaching under to tug her panties aside. It seemed odd that she had panties and Terra didn't, but Terra had a different set of basic clothes – maybe it was a perk beta testers got. Then, Lynn relaxed her muscles, and was surprised when she immediately started pissing the moment she tried to do so. Her stream gushed forward just how she had wanted it to and splashed onto the seats in the corner booth, pooling up on the seats themselves. Twisting her hips, she sent her piss stream splashing from one side of the booth over to the other and back again, some of the excess spilling over the edge of the seat and onto the floor. She momentarily panicked when she saw a "Lynn's marking" label appear over the wet seat, but it made sense that her character would be able to identify her own mark. Getting an idea, she squatted down and pissed heavily on the table she was standing on, spraying it with piss, before clenching her muscles and cutting off the stream. Interestingly, it didn't have the unpleasant tingling sensation that she normally felt when stopping mid-piss – for one reason or another, the simulation didn't include that. Getting off the table and returning to her seat, she looked at Terra, who was grinning at her. "Fun, isn't it?" Terra teased. Lynn gave a nod, and Terra chuckled, eating the rest of her food, the plate disappearing once she had eaten everything. But as soon as she was done, she went back to the bar and got another drink, coming back with it before knocking it down just like the last one, giving an exaggerated gasp and wiping a hand across her mouth afterwards as she set the empty mug down on the table, where it promptly despawned just like the first. "Aren't you full?" Lynn asked in surprise. Terra chuckled a bit, shifting about in her seat noticeably. "You can drink while you're not thirsty, it doesn't do anything to your thirst meter but it'll still fill your bladder," she explained. "They had to do it that way because potions are treated as drinks too." Glancing up, Lynn saw the yellow bar above Terra's head was almost completely full, even after her quick spray of the front desk. Lynn also saw a couple of icons next to Terra's name, indicating whatever debuffs she was getting from having such a full bladder, and maybe from the alcohol too. Lynn squeezed her legs together a bit at the thought of what that yellow bar meant, reaching for her own mug. "What are you gonna do with all that?" she asked in a hushed voice, taking a big sip of her mead. "Do with what?" Terra asked teasingly, her tone indicating she knew exactly what Lynn was talking about. "All that pee," Lynn whispered. "Oh, you know, just find a room and have some fun," Terra remarked casually. "I'll see you in a bit." Lynn blinked as Terra got up and walked off, heading for the stairs up to the second floor. Lynn was torn on what to do, but eventually got up as well, heading back to the bar and ordering another drink for herself, taking it back to the table to chug both it and the one Terra had given her. The mead was sweet and tasty, but she wanted it for its other effects. Sure enough, she could feel the need to piss growing rapidly, and a curious glance at her menu told her that she had put herself at 93% full... only for it to tick over to 94% a moment later. But the buzz from the alcohol was just as genuine, and she giggled to herself, wondering a little if she had overdone it. She hurried after Terra, slightly unsteady on her feet, and went upstairs to try and find where the Jex had gone. But it seemed like the game hid her nametag when she was out of sight, and all the doors to the rooms were closed, so she had to search the old-fashioned way. The rooms were small and plain but the beds seemed comfy enough. At the end of the hall was a master suite, and Lynn realized she should have looked there first; sure enough, when she pushed the door open a tiny bit, she saw Terra in there in the middle of having her fun. Already there was a puddle on the carpet near the door, and Terra had one leg up next to the bed, showering it in a spray of her urine, the droplets forming a puddle on top of it. But more than that, Lynn saw that Terra had her left hand on her left breast while her right hand was wrapped around her leg, letting her tease her slit with two fingers without getting in the way of her stream. Lynn stared for a moment, squeezing her legs together, then reached down. Did that mean the game let you masturbate in it too? There was only one way to find out. Despite the protests of her nearly-full bladder, she reached down under her skirt as she crouched down by the cracked-open door, pushing her panties down a bit to expose her slit. Gingerly, she pressed a finger against her clit, and held her breath to suppress a groan; sure enough, the game simulated the pleasure from touching her sensitive spot. Looking back into the suite, Lynn idly teased herself as Terra moved on to the bedside table, taking advantage of the game letting her stop and restart her stream at will. It was a small wooden table with three drawers, and she gave it a quick spray on the top before stopping and pulling out each drawer in turn, spraying a blast of piss into each one for a couple seconds before closing it and moving on to the next. For good measure, she spread her legs and pissed against the front of the table for a moment, splashing the carpet as well, then took a few seconds to finger herself after she stopped her stream, panting as she looked around for her next target. Lynn breathed deeply as she teased at her pussylips and began fingering herself as well to the show Terra was unknowingly putting on. The Jex peed on the wall next, giving it a quick splash, and then an open section of carpet apparently just because she felt like it. She reached under the bed and pulled out a chamber pot – but only to flip it over and piss all over the underside of it, leaving it in the puddle she made. She returned to the bed, grabbing the pillows, giving each one a heavy blast of urine before tossing them back onto the bed. Terra's observer trembled where she leaned on the wall and peeked in, torn between joining in and staying unnoticed, masturbating to the sight by dipping her fingers in and out of her pussy and brushing them up against her clit on occasion. Terra was far from done, making her way to a coffee table near the window and putting one leg up on it as she pissed onto the middle of the wooden surface for a few brief seconds, then turned towards the big armchair nearby. Terra put both hands on the top of the chair and leaned over it, showering the seat cushion with her golden urine, groaning softly from both arousal and satisfaction. Lynn pushed the door open just a tiny bit more to better watch Terra hunting for more things to spray, but after going to the closet and splashing its doors with golden fluid, it seemed she had gotten just about everything. Almost, anyway – Terra reached out of Lynn's field of vision for a brief moment, and pulled a flower pot off of a side table, pissing hard into it before putting it back where Lynn couldn't see. Having marked her way around the room, Terra sat on a dry corner of the bed and spread her legs out wide, leaning back and letting loose once again. Her piss arched into the air and splashed on the carpet, pooling up on it and spreading out, the Jex starting to rub at her clit with one finger as she emptied her bladder out the rest of the way. Lynn struggled to keep quiet to the show, teasing her own sensitive nub for a few moments before going back to thrusting her fingers into herself, admiring the display before her. When Terra finally ran dry, she continued masturbating, a little more energetically now that her bladder was empty. As she pushed her fingers into her slit, Lynn watched and did the same, trying to match Terra's pace, putting her other hand on her muzzle to try and stifle her moans so that she wouldn't be found out. She was so wet that she was dripping onto the floor, the two of them both pleasuring themselves, though Terra had her legs spread to more comfortably thrust her fingers into her wet walls and rub at her snatch while Lynn kept crouched down to avoid drawing attention to herself. The big wolf trembled as she leaned against the wall, her breaths coming more heavily as she felt her peak approaching and didn't relent in the motions of her fingers, slipping them out to tease at her clit harder. She shuddered and gave muffled moans as she came to a climax, her legs shaking, juices squirting from her pussy into the floor as she teased her sensitive spot throughout, even as she lost control and her full bladder began to empty itself, a heavy stream gushing onto the wooden floor. Inside the room, Terra panted more heavily as she reveled in the sight of all the puddles and wet marks around her that she had put down. She had briefly forgotten that she was still in the game; all she was aware of was how good she felt, still pumping two fingers into her pussy while her other hand reached down to tease her clit. She moaned loudly, not caring if anyone else heard – after all, it was just NPCs around, right? – and soon brought herself to her orgasm as well. She rolled slightly to the side, one raised leg quivering in the air as she squirted heavily onto the already wet carpet before her, gasping and squirming in place. Lynn's muffled groans became a little quieter and longer as her orgasm died down. She didn't bother to even try and fight the piss gushing out from her, splashing across the floorboards in front of her. Everything felt too good to care about any of that. She felt so free! She'd just pissed in a tavern, refilled, been treated to a wonderfully sexy show, and masturbated in the corridor of an inn – she had no reason to even try and resist the temptation for further indulgence. She looked down and watched her own stream as she heavily sprayed the floorboards, and even when she noticed that it wasn't pooling up and instead was seeping through the cracks to the floor below, she only grinned and reveled in the moment. This game really was great! The possibilities were endless! She let her bladder empty out, wondering where on the floor below it was coming out, and forcing out the last drops once she was finished. It was quite the attention to detail; the last 1% of her bladder meter apparently only could be drained with a manual clench. But she heard Terra grunt as she got to her feet, so Lynn quickly stood up and made her escape to head back downstairs – surely there was somewhere she could clean up in this simulation in some form or another. But even though she was gone by the time Terra pulled the master suite's door open, Lynn had left behind plenty of evidence. Terra looked over the piss on the floor, and even though it didn't have Lynn's name on it, she knew exactly who had left it there. A smirk crossed her face, but she headed back downstairs, deciding to pretend she hadn't seen anything. -------------------- The two of them hung around outside to watch the time change from day to night – even though the sun properly set and the sky changed color, there was still a notable change in atmosphere in the game once it was officially nighttime. The air felt colder, and the ambient sounds in the background shifted, changing from the occasional songs of birds, to the sounds of cicadas and crickets. They weren't alone any more either, as some other groups of players had elected to make the trip across the starting plains rather than stick around in the starting town. Rose and Terra had gone back to the inn and gotten a room for themselves, heading to sleep relatively early – as it turned out, fighting monsters for hours was actually quite tiring, even when simulated, and they both fell asleep fairly quickly. Terra awoke in the morning, stretching her arms over her head, surprised at how well-rested she felt despite the simplicity of the bed. But she almost immediately noticed several things amiss: firstly, Lynn wasn't there, her bed vacant and all of her things gone. Secondly, her bed and everything around it was wet, and as she stared in surprise, she saw the game helpfully indicating the markings that could only have come from the wolfess. "You devious-" Terra began, opening up her inventory. Everything was there, but all her possessions had an exclamation mark on their icons, and an extra line of text added to their descriptions saying that they had been 'Marked by ????'. She had a pretty good idea of who it was, though. She'd deal with that later. Getting out from the bed, she saw a note left for her on the side table, and picked it up to read it. "Sorry not sorry," it read, "I went downstairs and filled up and couldn't resist having a little fun while you were sleeping in. I think I'm going to try and go alone for now – maybe head back and actually go do the tutorial – but thanks for your help, and good luck!" Terra was torn between feeling sad that Lynn had left, and feeling annoyed that she wouldn't be able to get payback on Lynn for marking her things. Putting the note away, she grumbled, "You'd better stay alive... we have unfinished business." If Lynn was going to forge ahead on her own, so would Terra. The Jex started by heading downstairs to the tavern and getting herself breakfast, eating some bacon and eggs before filling up on orange juice. She hadn't seen any orange trees, even in the beta, but it was still a video game at its core so she simply enjoyed the refreshing cool drink – also ignoring the fact that there weren't any fridges either, so it had no reason to be chilled. Rather than look for the bathroom, she simply left the inn and walked around behind it, hosing down the back wall of the building with urine, sidestepping as she did to leave a big long puddle behind the inn. With that business taken care of, she got back to the game itself. Stopping in at the shops was the obvious first move, selling all her vendor trash items and upgrading to some real weapons and armor – not that they were a whole lot better, but it was still an improvement. She now had an iron sword and a leather vest, and opted not to take the basic shield so that she could keep using her stronger two-handed moves. It did use up most of her money, though, so she took a moment to consider her options on where to go next. The mountains or the coastline...? As she wandered in thought, she suddenly remembered something. "Right, quests!" she blurted out; the beta had only had a tiny handful of starter quests in it just to test out the system. The full game surely had many more than that. So off Terra went around the town, interacting with each of the NPCs, until she had picked up all of the quests she could find: killing certain numbers of enemies, getting particular amounts of drops, and a fun one from a feline NPC named 'Leo the Explorer' who told her to go to a set of spots marked on her map "And mark them yourself." Although there was a map in the menu, only she could see that one; the NPC gave her an actual map item that she could take out and unroll. It still updated automatically, but that one would be useful if she met up with Lynn again or formed another group. It seemed like a good way to check out the area and see if anything else had changed since the beta, so off she went, planning a quick route. Going by her map, the locations were spread more or less evenly in the area around the town, so after spending the rest of her money on healing items, she set off to the west, intending to go clockwise around the points of interest and come back to the town. Thanks to her grinding the previous day, the occasional spawns in the areas around the town were no match for her. Unfortunately it also meant they weren't even worth the time to fight, as she got almost no XP for them, and the slimes and bees weren't anything she needed for the quests she had picked up. To the west from the town was a field and then a big orchard, which offered a safe zone where mobs wouldn't spawn as well as a single NPC selling apples and apple-themed items, and even gave her a free mug of apple cider when she first spoke to him. But that wasn't what Terra was there for. Checking her quests, she confirmed that she was supposed to visit the orchard, and the map appeared to specifically be marking the big signboard just outside the fence with the orchard's name on it. Yet, even when she stood right in front of the sign and poked at it with one hand, she didn't get any quest progress. She frowned deeply; was it broken? With the ability to call for an admin disabled, it wasn't like she could get some help with it. Terra took another look at the quest list. The pinned quest still read: "[0/6] Mark spots for Leo the Explorer." But then an idea came to her as she read it over again. Had they really included it as a mechanic? It was worth a try... Since her armor only covered her upper body, Terra still had her skirt on her lower half, and reached down to raise it up as she stood right next to one of the sign's two wooden legs. Grinning, she relaxed her muscles; even if this didn't work, it would be fun. The orchard owner didn't react at all as she flashed him, since he was an NPC, and she let a hard blast of piss splash onto the wooden sign leg. Immediately, she heard a 'Ding!' noise from nowhere in particular. Smirking, she pissed on the sign for just a couple of seconds longer before cutting it off and checking her quest list again. Sure enough, the progress meter now read [1/6], and had a few sparkles next to it to indicate she had made some progress since she last looked. A grin crossed Terra's face, and she gave a satisfied nod. "Neat," she said in a self-satisfied tone. It certainly explained why the orchard owner gave out free drinks. Closing the menu, she shifted over and took a few seconds to piss on the other leg of the signboard. She didn't expect anything would happen and was just doing it for fun, so after splashing the wooden leg with her urine and leaving a second mark, she wandered off to the next waypoint. It was quite the journey. For being a starter area, there was a surprising amount of detail in the nearby zones, and plenty of places to explore. The next spot was the top of a hill with a good view of the surrounding area, and a single big tree with a tree house at the top. Terra suspected she was meant to mark the tree itself, but instead, she climbed into the tree house itself. Sadly, the interior was barely furnished, with just a fixed telescope to look out of, but that didn't stop Terra from peeing all around the floor regardless – it was close enough to count, as the 'Ding!' noise from the quest tracker informed her. The third spot actually took her close enough to the mountains that she ran into some tougher enemies, but nothing she couldn't handle with a bit of caution. A trail up a steep slope led to a lookout tower, with a single guard NPC at the top whose dialogue options only offered some advice on the weak points of the monsters in the area. But Terra was there for other reasons, and went over to the weapon rack on the ground floor. It was sadly a static prop, so she couldn't take any of the weapons on it, but it didn't stop her from pissing all over them and getting another point towards her quest. Following the road that separated the mountains from the area around the village, she headed into the woods in between the two zones for the fourth location. This one was a lumber mill next to a river, and though there was an NPC offering quests, they were all too high level for her, even now that she had hit level 9 from taking fights on the way. Not that she was far off: the lowest quest only required level 10, and it had a fast travel point so she could always return later. Thankfully, the lumber mill itself was a point of interest for the quest, so she climbed up onto the big pile of split logs near the entrance to unleash a golden shower down onto it, watching her piss splash in between the logs and run deeper into the stack. Further to the east as she began heading back to the general area of the town, Terra found that her next destination was a small trading post. She felt like she was spoilt for choice; there was the small log building, sure, but there was a traveling merchant's wagon outside of it that would work just as well. Baskets of apples and other fruit, racks of prop clothes, and other things offered tempting targets. Ultimately, though, she decided on the wagon – taking advantage of the fact that it was run by an NPC, she climbed up into the opened window on the side, sitting on the counter. Some boxes had been placed within it for decoration, and Terra took aim at those, spreading her legs out directly in front of the merchant inside the wagon and letting loose with a hard stream that she splashed all around inside the wagon. Even the merchant himself got wet, but didn't react to it, and Terra just grinned to herself as she gave the interior another quick spraying before slipping back out. Finally, her last stop was on the road to the coastline, at a crossroad of all the various local paths. Near the intersection there was a big stone statue twice as tall as Terra was, depicting an armored fox holding a sword up and pointing it out towards the sea. Terra knew immediately what she wanted to do as soon as she got to it, and climbed her way up the statue, sitting on its head. "This is my statue now!" she joked playfully as she started pissing onto the very top of it. Her golden fluid spilled off the sides and ran down the statue's head, some of it dripping off while the rest of it ran further down. Even though she heard a longer, more elaborate chime indicating that she had completed a quest, Terra remained where she was, fully emptying her bladder onto the statue, turning around in place to start spraying down its back. She let her piss run down over the stone, all the way to the statue's tail, leaving dark trails on it. When she was nearly done she cut off her stream and climbed back down, standing at the base of the statue with her legs spread to let the rest of her urine shower onto the plaque at the front that described who the statue was of. From there, she headed back to the town to get her reward. It was better than expected: enough XP for another level, a good amount of money, and even better, a new skill. Namely, the one that would let her identify marks left by other players, if she had grouped with them before. Chuckling, she took a look in her inventory at all of the items she had had the previous night and smirked as she saw that the descriptions now read: "Marked by Lynn". "Oh yeah, I'm definitely paying you back if we ever meet again," Terra promised under her breath with a devious grin. -------------------- On the next day, Terra continued to make good progress with her knowledge from the beta, farming healing potions from the coastline, doing the quests at the lumber mill, and then making her way into the mountains to get more experience. She was glad that she had done it in that order, as the enemies in the mountains had been made a bit tougher than they were in the beta, and she had a narrow escape after aggroing a couple of strong enemies at the same time. The potions didn't heal for all that much, but they were still helpful, and they had a pleasant cherry taste to them too. Level 15 seemed to be the soft cap for experience in that area. After hitting it, the various wild animals and particularly the annoying birds that liked to fly just out of melee range stopped giving her enough XP to be worth fighting. While she had seen other players here and there, it had been nothing like the huge crowd back at the starting town when she first arrived. She hoped they were just taking their time and being cautious about advancing, as the alternative was too morbid to think about for long. But she was ready to move ahead, so after a final trip back to the quiet village and then the lumber mill to turn in her quests, she ventured deeper into the mountainous region. Between the tall mountains there was a roughly circular valley, and at the far end of it was a mining town. In the beta it had only been partly built out, with a few signs and NPCs saying that things were under construction. Terra was excited as she came back to it and found that it had been fully fleshed out: in addition to the usual collection of shops and services every town in the game needed, it had more decorations and NPCs added to make it look much more like a mining town. There were NPCs carrying carts of ores, rocks and coal back and forth; miners; guards; another traveling merchant, and so on. Plenty more barrels and boxes of rocks and tools had been placed around for flavor, and there was even a miners' guild building now with a special shopkeeper that sold only mining helmets and lanterns. Just to see what would happen, Terra climbed up on the back of a cart full of ores as it went by, and laughed to herself when it kept going, carrying her along through the town. Deviously, she spread her legs and sprayed the wagon's contents with a few seconds of piss before hopping off the wagon, grinning to herself as the marked wagon continued onwards just as it had been doing before. At the back of the village was the mine itself – an enormous cave entrance yawned wide open, with minecart rails leading out of it and into a nearby building, more miner NPCs and some boxes of gear just outside. Some of them looked like they had quests, too, but it was getting late, and she could check those out on the next day. Terra only visited the cave entrance long enough to briefly hose down a rack of mining tools with her piss, and then headed off to the inn. The inn wasn't all that different from the one in the farming village, but it made sense that they would be fairly standard across the games: It had two NPCs on the ground floor, one for the inn and one for the tavern area. Terra wasn't the only one there, but the pair of players who were off in the corner were just finishing their meal as she arrived, so she was soon left alone in the tavern area. For a little bit she just ate her meal, but when she was done and there was still no sign of any other players coming in, she grinned and began chugging the drinks she had bought to go with it one after another. They had the expected effects, both giving her a buzz and rapidly filling up her bladder, so Terra got to her feet as the last empty mug disappeared from the table. There was nothing stopping her from slipping behind the inn's counter and into the rooms behind it, which had been fully detailed by the game's creators. Several shelves held spare blankets and pillows for the rooms upstairs, and while Terra had a feeling they were just decorative, she still stood facing away from the shelf of neatly folded blankets, bent over, hiked up her skirt, raised her tail, and unleashed. Turning her upper body to look behind herself, she saw a hard stream of her piss splashing the lower shelves, and she swished her hips back and forth as she sprayed the folded sheets, giving them a good soaking. Stray droplets splashed all over the place, some on the floor and some hitting the shelf itself, and she continued waving her hips around to make as much of a mess as she could. The pillows weren't spared either; after soaking the blankets she cut off her stream, stood in front of the pile of pillows, spread her legs, and let loose again, showering the pillows with the rest of her golden fluid, her hands held behind her head as she pushed her hips out until she was empty. Having had her fun, Terra got a room and went upstairs to get some sleep, drifting off while mentally making plans for the next day: seeing what quests were available, checking the shops, then heading into the mines. After she woke up and got herself some breakfast, she left the inn immediately, not wanting to wait around any longer than necessary. As she roamed the town she saw that there was a fountain in the town square, with a fast travel point next to it, and she made her way over to go activate it. There was actually someone at the fountain, a blue-furred catfolk sitting on the edge, dressed in some ranger's clothes that were roughly the same green shade as the plants out in the forests around the mountains. But since she only looked at Terra when the Jex approached and didn't say anything, she was obviously just an NPC, so Terra paid her no mind. She didn't have the quest marker over her head, but maybe she'd have something for Terra after she gained a few levels or explored a new zone. "Boop!" Terra proclaimed playfully as she pushed the fast travel point, watching the text on it start to glow. No doubt it would come in handy eventually. She stood and watched the fountain for a moment as she considered her next move; the fountain was not very fancy, just a square stone structure with a small stone spire in the center of it spewing water upwards a short distance. But the splashing sound gave her an idea, and she grinned deviously to herself, taking a quick look around the town square. Only NPCs, as far as she could tell... Raising one leg and setting it on the edge of the fountain, Terra lifted her skirt with one hand and raised it up, using her other hand to reach down and spread her pussylips. She glanced at the catfolk, but she was still just watching in silence, as Terra had expected, so Terra turned her attention back to the fountain and gave a sigh as she prepared to take her morning relief. Her golden stream arched through the air and splashed into the fountain loudly, and Terra's grin only widened as all the NPCs around her went around their business. It was certainly liberating to be able to go whenever and wherever she wanted! She shifted her hips a bit to send her stream splashing from side to side, but otherwise remained mostly still, reveling in how casual she was able to be in such a public space. Bending her knees just a bit, she pushed her hips forward and peed further into the fountain, clenching just a little to make her stream splash harder in the water, making even more noise. She held her pose there, her stream ebbing a little before she clenched again, and it came to a sudden end when she ran out, the Jex stretching her arms over her head as she straightened up and let out a self-satisfied sigh. The catfolk was still staring at her, and Terra chuckled and asked, "Enjoy the show?" "Absolutely," the cat replied. Terra let out a yell and jumped in surprise, trying to pull out her weapons in reflex, but the town was a safe zone and she couldn't draw her sword. The blue catfolk's face twisted into a smirk, looking very satisfied with herself, her tail swishing back and forth behind her. "You thought I was just an NPC, didn't you?" she asked with a devious giggle. "Yyyyyep," Terra admitted sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head. "You are the third person I've gotten by doing that. Most players are very bad about checking the nametag closely to see if I'm a player or an NPC," she explained, pointing above her head at her nametag: Sinon, Ranger Level 14 – slightly below Terra, but still higher than the majority of players Terra had spotted back at the last town. Terra groaned; NPCs had a name, class and level just like players, but NPCs' names were written in italics, and Sinon's wasn't. "However, you're the first who just decided to walk up and put on a show!" Sinon told her with a quiet chuckle. "I wasn't going to say anything, but I couldn't resist." Terra was blushing intensely underneath her fur. "Well, you, uh, were very convincing," she muttered. "It was just for fun, I didn't mean any harm," Sinon apologized. "I have to do something to take my mind off of the fact that I'm trapped here. Might as well enjoy myself, right? Anyway, how about I make it up to you?" "How do you plan on doing that?" Sinon stood up and hopped up onto the edge of the fountain, then extended one leg out and rested it on the side of the centerpiece, uncaring that water was spraying on her boots. Her blue-furred legs were bare, and Terra could see that while Sinon had an overcoat that was long in both the front and the back, she had nothing on her lower half. With her leg raised, pushing the front tails aside, Terra could clearly see that Sinon was going commando with nothing at all on her lower body, giving her a clear view when Sinon started returning the favor and unleashed a stream of piss into the fountain. It broke up in the air partway down, and showered the fountain water with golden droplets. Terra stared in awe at the sight before her, and Sinon smirked a little, holding the pose with her legs spread wide. She shifted her hips back and forth to spray different parts of the fountain, not even bothering to look around the town square to see if anyone was watching. Instead, she kept her gaze on Terra, watching the fighter's reaction to the sight of her golden spray raining down into the fountain. When Sinon's spray weakened and gradually trickled off, Terra finally looked up at the cat's face. Sinon gave a final clench and squirted a last bit of pee into the water, then pulled her leg back and hopped off the edge of the fountain. "There, we're even now," she told Terra matter-of-factly. "Wait," Terra burst out, "Are you traveling alone?" "I have been so far," Sinon replied. "It gives more opportunities to have a little mischief. But since I presume you're about to offer for me to travel with you, and you seem to like the same things I do..." she smirked and leaned forward towards Terra, reaching up with one hand and interacting with her menu that Terra couldn't see. Terra watched, and saw an invitation to join Sinon's group pop up. She quickly accepted it, and the feline gave another little chuckle when she saw the confirmation on her side. "Thank you," Sinon said sincerely, holding out her hand. "Joking aside, survival will be much easier with some help." Nodding in agreement, Terra took Sinon's hand and shook it. "You're only about half a level behind me, I'm surprised," Terra observed. "We're both a lot higher than the other players I've seen so far. I've been sticking in each area until I cap out." "That seems inefficient to me," Sinon told her. "I've been skipping ahead to the next area once I get a few levels. It's a little riskier, but I level way faster doing that. Then again, I do end up using more potions and I have to make sure I can only take on one foe at a time. Probably hard for you to do, but since I fight with a bow, I can get away with it." "I see," Terra murmured. "Well, you should catch up quickly enough. I've got a few things to take care of first, but then we should head out together." "Sure," Sinon agreed. "We can practice fighting together, too. Even with two of us, the monsters around here can still be pretty dangerous." "Excellent." Terra pumped one fist triumphantly. "Let's go!" -------------------- Terra was greatly surprised at how good a team she and Sinon made. Terra had been leaning a little more into the defensive abilities when she leveled up and made sure to upgrade her armor first each time she had the opportunity – normally she would have done the opposite, but normally her life wasn't on the line either. Not to mention that the abilities in question were a great help for avoiding damage in the first place, which were even more important in a game where she really felt every injury dealt to her as if it were real. If she went long enough without getting hit she could get an auto-block, she could parry with two-handed swords as if they were shields – only in melee, though – and she could stun enemies she hit, preventing several counterattacks. Sinon was also an excellent complement to her. While Terra was keeping enemies busy, Sinon peppered them with arrows from a safe distance, and as they had gained more levels she had gained even better abilities. In addition to the usual collection of elemental damaging arrows, she had picked up skills to blind, slow, confuse and even sometimes paralyze enemies, letting Terra start attacking them with impunity. A lot had been changed and rebalanced since the beta, so every new enemy involved experimentation to figure out what it was resistant to, but Sinon apparently had a skill that kept track of every mob's resistances and weaknesses every time she or Terra hit one. Together they were a terrifying force, tearing through zones quickly enough that they had stopped running into other players at all, seemingly getting ahead of everyone else, and constantly getting stronger. They had already cleared not just the area around the mining town, but the mines themselves, and the tunnels at the bottom that led to the next area, eventually coming out into the enchanted woods beyond. The woods seemed to be an entire overworld area rather than just one small section, as the town they came out into at the other side had a tower they were able to climb up, where they saw the vast swathes of colorful green, teal, and purple trees stretching out into the distance. But Terra had to admit that she was particularly fond of the other abilities they kept finding... As she and Sinon had delved deeper into the game and done more quests, they had kept bumping into more Explorer NPCs that offered quests with rewards relating to the bladder-based features of the game. Terra was particularly enjoying the one that made monsters not want to walk across any markings of hers, something she had taken advantage of before numerous fights. She would carefully piss lines across the ground to help funnel monsters towards her in a more manageable way, and then have Sinon aggro them with her arrows from a distance so that Terra didn't have to leave her marking trap. Sadly, it didn't work if she completely surrounded herself in a circle of pee, since if they couldn't find a clear path to her they'd just ignore the markings entirely, but it was a very useful ability nonetheless. It also didn't work if Sinon peed on her, something she had learned from experience, but she had repaid the favor regardless. The other ability they had unlocked hadn't seemed too useful at first – peeing on an enemy would cause it to draw aggro from other enemies. But that would first require getting into a fight with several enemies at once, and then somehow pissing on one of them without getting hit, so Terra had only used it once in a fight with weaker enemies just to try it out. However, while at the item shop, Terra had gotten the idea to get some of the empty bottles normally used by alchemists. They were useless to her since she didn't get any crafting skills, but she was still able to piss in one, and when she threw it at one of the giant beetles in the mines, it had had the intended effect: causing other beetles nearby to suddenly attack it. Terra and Sinon had been laughing so hard that the other beetles suddenly all turning on them after killing the first one nearly caught them off-guard, but they emerged from the scuffle victorious. Terra was also glad that they were finally getting to the point in the game where their equipment was starting to look fancy. Sinon had a recurve bow with bits of gold decorating it, as well as a fancy green and gold ranger's coat with a high collar, though she continued to go bottomless. She was making use of a toggle buried deep in the game's menus to hide certain equipment from sight – she still got the bonus, but it was if the matching pants she had equipped didn't exist. Terra had followed Sinon's lead, getting herself a set of red armor with gold designs around the edges, which included some tassets – hanging plates that covered her upper thighs and crotch. The leg armor that went with it, however, existed only on her inventory and stats screens. Her current weapon was a big two-handed sword with a golden line running up the middle and a single gem set into the hilt, and she was excited to think about what future tiers of gear might look like. They were now on their way to another section of the enchanted forest, both having hit level 34 and maxing out on the enemies that were close to the Great Tree and the settlement at its base. Due to the experience-capping mechanic, Sinon had caught up to Terra, and was only behind her by a relatively tiny amount of XP. Glowing white fronds hung from some of the trees nearby and iridescent ivy clung to the bark of many others, but as beautiful as it was, Terra found it hard to take in the scenery when the theme of the zone seemed to be oversized forest animals of surprising viciousness. "Leave me alone!" Terra shouted as a lilac-winged bird swooped at her, holding up her sword and parrying its attack. "These birds are jerks!" "They really are!" Sinon agreed as she fired and missed. "Eagle Eye's almost off cooldown, just hold on!" Terra pulled a healing potion out from the pouch at her hip – serving as the VR equivalent to a quick bar – and chugged it, tossing the empty vial aside before it could disappear of its own will. Another bird swooped down at her, and she blocked the strike, having already learned the hard way not to try and take opportunistic swipes during their attacks. "Here we go!" Sinon called out a moment later, raising her bow, which was glimmering blue as she activated her ability. She began firing rapidly, her arrows automatically seeking the nearest target, bringing down the two birds with ease. The third one swooped in at Terra and was hit by another arrow, but after Terra stopped its strike it flapped back and hovered in the air just in front of her, finally entering the vulnerable phase of its attack pattern. "Gotcha!" Terra called out as she lunged and swung her sword downward, cleaving into the bird. It screeched and fell to the ground in a shower of silver coins and feathers, even having the decency to give its beak as a rare drop. "Fuck YEEEES!" Terra shouted as she felt the brief but intense surge of ecstasy through her as she leveled up, Sinon giving an enthusiastic cry of her own as she hit level 35 as well. Terra slumped a little, panting; even after 34 times, it still didn't get any less exhilarating. She took a quick glance around, but they'd cleared out the mobs in their immediate vicinity. "Let's find a quiet spot, I want to pick skills," Sinon told Terra, coming up behind her. "Level 35 gates some incredibly powerful stuff." Terra nodded and pointed deeper into the forest. "I think there's a clearing over there, let's head that way." The duo pressed on, getting away from the spawn point just in time to avoid having to go another round with the birds. Sure enough, they came into a clearing, but it was clearly more than just that, as there was a big fallen tree at one side of it, the inside of its trunk hollowed out with a sign posted outside of it. "Huh?" Terra wondered aloud, approaching it cautiously, keeping her sword at the ready. Sinon followed after her. "Strange... I don't see any quest markers here. Maybe we'll have to come back here later?" "Maybe," Terra agreed. The area seemed safe, so she put her weapons away as she stopped in front of the sign to read it. It was a little low, so she squatted down in front of the sign to get a better look, taking advantage of the position to reach down with one hand and lift up the frontmost tasset on her armor, as splashing sound coming from underneath her as she pissed on the wooden post holding up the sign. If she was the first person here, she wanted to make sure everyone else knew it. "A great trial awaits within," Terra read off the sign as she peed on its post. "A test of resolve, it cannot be faced alone. Seek its rewards only if you believe you are worthy." "Is this a trial dungeon?" Sinon wondered aloud as Terra cut off her stream and stood back up. "Could be," Terra agreed. There hadn't been any in the beta, but it had been a feature mentioned in the promotional material: special dungeons that any given player could only attempt once. They didn't involve any combat, and instead were supposed to feature difficult puzzles. "Well, it only says it can't be faced alone, but we can just go in together." "Is that wise?" Sinon asked. "They're supposed to just be puzzles. It can't be any more dangerous than out here with the birds," Terra pointed out. Sinon nodded, conceding the point. "All right. We might as well check it out, then. It would be hard to find our way back here." Terra pulled her sword back out just in case as she walked into the big hollow log, but it was completely black inside, and it seemed like a tunnel that went on a lot longer than it appeared. At least until she suddenly bumped into an invisible wall with an "Oof!" and nearly fell on her ass. A gentle voice softly whispered to her from somewhere, "You must gather your allies before venturing forth." "Yeah, yeah," Terra grumbled. "Sinon, get closer, we have to be together." "All right," Sinon agreed, hurrying to catch up with Terra. Just as Sinon came within a few feet of Terra, she suddenly felt herself falling and let out a yelp. She wasn't falling for very long, however, and suddenly her surroundings were bright again as she landed in a big pile of green, purple and teal leaves. The blue catgirl landed beside her a moment later with a soft crunch of leaves, but Terra was preoccupied with checking her surroundings for any potential threats. They seemed to be in the center of some small square area outdoors, though there were dirt walls enclosing it that slanted inwards to make it clear they were not climbable. The area was covered in grass, and both ahead of and behind them were more hollow logs like the one they had entered through, embedded into the walls and presumably leading to other areas. To the left of the leaf pile, clear water trickled in through a hole in the wall, and into a small pond just in front of it. Terra sat up, looking down at herself, surprised to see that she was back in her basic clothes. "What happened to my stuff?" she cried out in a panic, opening her inventory only to find it completely empty. Sinon beside her was in a similar predicament, wearing just a white blouse and a dark green skirt. "They must have taken it from us so that everyone comes in here on even footing," she guessed. "It's a puzzle, after all." "I suppose, but I'd better get my stuff back when we're done," Terra muttered, taking a look at the log behind her. Unlike the one in front of them, it had a soft glow deep within it as if to beckon them towards it, and Terra slid off the pile of leaves to take a quick look at the sign next to the log. "Beware," she read aloud, "This way leads back from where you came, but your failure will be permanent. Leave only if you are prepared to never return." "So we can give up if we want, but we can't try again," Sinon observed as she slid down the leaves as well, reaching under her skirt to brush away a leaf that was stuck to her rump. "We haven't even started though. Let's go the other way." "Agreed," Terra said with a nod. She paused only long enough to squat down and splash the bottom of the sign's post with her urine for a few seconds, then took the lead and headed to the other log, which had no sign in front of it. Terra went inside first, only to be stopped by an invisible wall again. "Just stick close to me, Sinon," she said, keeping one hand pressed against the barrier. "Well, it is a safe zone, so I might as well," Sinon agreed. She approached, and the invisible wall disappeared, allowing them to progress. They came out into a room not unlike the previous one, except that it was a perfectly square room with hollow logs set into all four walls. Terra walked into the middle of it and looked around, but there were no more signs, and the room lacked any particularly distinguishing features. "Which way do we go?" she asked. "Clearly, this is a maze," Sinon mused. "There must be some sort of clue around here." Terra turned her head back and forth to look, but she couldn't see anything that stood out. There were very minor differences in the patterns of the wood on the logs or patches of grass on the ground, but nothing that seemed sufficiently out of place to constitute a clue. She frowned after being unable to find anything, turning to Sinon. "Find anything?" "...no, I'm afraid not," Sinon admitted. "It all looks the same." "We'll just have to pick a direction, then," Terra said with a shrug. "I don't know if it will work, but we can try the right-hand rule," Sinon suggested. "The what?" "The right-hand rule. If you're in a maze, just follow the wall to your right, and you'll get out eventually. It works, as long as the maze doesn't have loops." "It's worth a try. We came in from there, so going right would be... this one!" Terra marched into the log she was pointing at, with Sinon following closely behind her. They passed through and came out into another identical clearing, and Terra groaned; it obviously wasn't going to be quite that easy. "Is this where we just came from?" Terra wondered aloud. "I'm not sure. Let's keep going." They took another right turn, and this time, they got dropped back into the entrance area again, landing on the leaf pile together. "I see," Terra grumbled as she climbed off the leaves, "That's how it's going to be, huh?" "Well, we don't seem to be in any danger, at least," Sinon remarked as she got up and joined Terra. "We can try another path." And so they did. Over and over they delved into the maze, and again and again found themselves dropped back at the entrance. Terra quickly lost count of their failures, but also, frustratingly, began to forget where they had already been, and couldn't tell if they were actually making progress. "Next is forward right left forward... uh... left?" Sinon mused aloud, apparently getting just as lost as Terra. "No, we went left at the end last time, so it's... uh..." Terra groaned and flopped back, sprawling out on the pile of leaves. "This is hopeless! We'll be here forever!" "Do you think we should give up?" Terra grumbled, thinking of what kind of reward might await them at the end, if only they could get through. "No, just... we need to think of some kind of strategy. What if we split up?" "We can't," Sinon reminded her. "We have to be together to go through the logs." "Right, right," Terra muttered, getting up and starting to pace back and forth. "I wish we had some kind of drawing tools. Or anything, really. They took all of our gear. I can't even use any of my abilities either!" Sinon seemed to think on that one for a moment and held up her hand as though interacting with her menu. "Most abilities," she corrected. "Only the ones that require a weapon or armor." "Which is almost all of them," Terra pointed out, turning to face Sinon. The exit was certainly looking tempting, the sign next to it still darkened, a little info bubble popping up a moment later that said "Terra's Mark". At least it meant they were back at the same entrance and weren't getting sent to some other one just to confuse them further. Terra chuckled to herself, then her eyes suddenly widened. "Wait, that's it!" she blurted out. "What is?" Terra pointed at the piss-stained sign. "We do have a way to know where we've been! We can leave markings behind!" "What kind of-" Sinon began, turning her head, and then saw what Terra meant. She raised an eyebrow, then looked thoughtful, bringing one hand under her feline muzzle. "Hmm... that would help, maybe. We could mark entrances before we go through them, but then, how would we know which ones were bad?" "Well, we've got the two of us – we can leave two marks!" Terra said energetically, pacing back and forth again, but with a spring in her step this time. "Maybe... yes, I know, before we go through a door, I'll mark it. If it's bad, we retrace our steps to it, and then you mark it. So if a door has both markings, it's bad, and if it just has one it's... well, maybe not bad, but it means we've been through it before." "I... think that would work? ...yes, if we follow the right-hand rule, but always go past double-marked doors, we'll be able to find our way back easily without having to remember the exact path, we just need to remember how many doors we went through." "Yes, exactly!" Terra called out. "But then... what happens if we run out? We're both doing okay on BP at the moment, but..." "That's what the pond is here for!" Terra exclaimed, gesturing to it. "This must be the intended solution!" "Or some system like it, at least," Sinon concurred. Terra ran over to the pond and got down on her knees next to it, bending over at the waist, giving Sinon quite the view of her exposed loins as the Jex shoved her muzzle into the clear water and drank. Sinon's eyes widened a bit as she saw the little yellow bar above Terra's body visibly fill, jumping a substantial amount a few seconds after her first gulp. "Uh, Terra-" Sinon began. Terra gave an "Mmh?" in response, but continued to chug. "Maybe you shouldn't drink so much-" Terra cut her off again, this time with a groan as she felt her bladder fill up further, enough that a little debuff icon appeared next to her stats on the group display. "Oh, that was-" Terra started, only to be cut off again, the water apparently taking a few seconds before its effects activated. "Okay, big mistake!" Terra admitted, her bladder bar filling a little more all of a sudden. "But I can fix this!" She spread her legs out and raised up her hips, holding herself up with her hands and standing on her toes as she unleashed her bladder behind her. A hard, heavy stream of piss blasted out from her urethra and splashed onto the ground, soaking into the dirt and making a muddy patch that her pee continued to splash into. Sinon watched with an amused chuckle as she saw Terra's BP bar go down, then suddenly increase again, only to drop further as Terra kept pissing, and then to go back up from the delayed effects of the pond water. Eventually she outlasted all the delayed surges, but it felt like she had already pissed her normal full-bladder's worth, and yet she didn't feel any emptier. She opened her menu to watch the bar go down as she continued to shower the ground behind her with urine, and cut off her stream when she hit 50%, taking a heavy breath. "Okay... lesson learned, this pond is for refilling when empty, not for topping off." "Pity we can't bottle some up and take it with us," Sinon lamented. Terra got to her feet, and after taking a look at the huge puddle – with "Terra's Mark" floating over it, of course – the pair set to their task. Each time they got to a new doorway, Terra stood at the right side of it and gave it a quick spray, usually just spreading her legs and splashing the ground, but sometimes she got creative. Lifting a leg, squatting down, holding one leg up in a split, putting one foot on the wall by the door, or bending at the waist and pissing behind her, Terra kept up a variety each time she needed to splash a doorway. Sinon was a little more graceful, though she didn't need to go as many times as Terra did, only when they retraced their steps to a bad door and needed to mark it off. She was very methodical, reaching down to lift her skirt and then spread her pussylips with her other hand, letting just a few seconds of pee splash to mark a bad doorway. The two girls soon had dozens of markings throughout the forest maze, reminded of how many spots they had peed in every time they had to backtrack, and only needing to sip from the pond a couple of times. Finally, though, they made it through – or at least, they reached a room that wasn't the entrance and wasn't another four-way intersection. Terra gasped in surprise as she stepped into another walled area with long tree limbs stretching overhead, and up ahead was a wide stone altar underneath a large carved stone shelter, both of them covered in moss and ivy. "Finally, we made it!" Terra exclaimed, looking to her side. But Sinon wasn't there. "Uh... Sinon?" Terra asked, turning in a circle, but her companion had vanished. Terra frowned and tried to turn back, only to bump into an invisible wall in the tunnel. The same quiet voice from before whispered to her again from somewhere, "You must be part of a group to proceed." "But I -am- in a-" Terra began, but then noticed that Sinon's resource bars were missing from the corner of her vision. They had been forcibly split up. "Oh yeah, this isn't ominous or anything," Terra muttered as she cautiously began to approach the altar. The altar itself was carved of gray stone with intricately twisting lines and patterns on the sides, shifting between styles the further down the altar she looked. The top of it was completely flat and smooth, but the opposite ends both had protrusions sticking out from them for some reason, each ending in a dull hook. Curious, Terra walked up and inspected the altar, giving it a gentle poke with one finger after a few moments, but nothing happened. However, just as she was raising a leg to try something else, she heard a voice from behind her. "Congratulations, adventurer," a mischievous voice said with a cackle. Terra lowered her leg and spun around to face the source of the voice, finding herself face to face with what looked like a copy of herself, but wearing a jester's mask depicting an unnaturally large grin. The duplicate's motions were twitchy, sudden and unnatural, as it approached her with short and seemingly randomly paced steps. "You have made it through the Trial of Misdirection, and your reward awaits." "Sweet! What kind-" "...so long as you complete one final test." Terra frowned, trying to pull out weapons she didn't have. "What kind of test?" she asked cautiously, keeping her eyes on the other Terra. The duplicate of her suddenly leapt into the air and jumped over the altar and its overhang entirely, landing gracefully on the other side, only to turn around in a half-circle in the blink of an eye unsettlingly. The fake Terra raised her hands, and suddenly, piles and piles of items appeared on top of the altar – huge, gem-encrusted and golden weapons of all types, sets of armor with elaborate decorations and even more gemstones, big glowing potions, and more. Her eyes scanned back and forth, barely able to make out all the item names and descriptions as they tried to overlap each other when she inspected them, but she could tell from the color of the text that they were all of the highest two tiers of items – an absolute fortune in loot. And resting at the very top was a cubic green pulsing gemstone, its elevated position letting her actually read its description – a Final XP Gem, one that, when used, would almost double her current level. Terra stared in awe and raised both arms. "Oh yes, gimme gimme!" she proclaimed greedily, but an invisible force stopped her from advancing. Her duplicate snapped her fingers and the loot vanished. "All of that, and more, will be yours, if you do one more thing," the duplicate told her in a raspy voice. "Okay, what's that?" Terra asked, a little more cautious now that the pile of loot wasn't being dangled in front of her. So much gear, though! She could plow straight through to the endgame! The fake Terra cackled, and the real Terra suddenly had a wavy red dagger held in her right hand. She blinked in surprise and looked down at it, and the sharp point on it. With another finger snap from Terra's duplicate, a cloud of smoke enveloped the altar... ...and when it cleared, Sinon was there. Her wrists and ankles were bound to the protrusions on the altar, and the hooks stopped the ropes from slipping off. Sinon's mouth was gagged and her eyes blindfolded, but she wasn't moving, as if knocked out. According to the bar above her body, she only had one single hit point left. "You will be strong enough to go alone from here," Terra's duplicate said, turning slowly in place with jerky movements. "This one will only slow you down. Finish her off, and claim great power for yourself." Terra's hand shook. It was only a video game, right? But no, not this one – this was for real, and she would be betraying Sinon and killing her. But that applied to her, too; she had to protect herself, and what better way than to deck herself out in the most overpowered gear she could possibly get her hands on? Perhaps sensing her hesitation, the jester-faced Terra snapped her fingers again, and the pile of loot appeared behind her on the ground. Glittering. Tempting. So much power. At no risk to herself. And it could all be hers with one small attack...! The fake Terra crept around the altar and stood by Terra herself. "One strike, and you will be the most powerful hero there has ever been. No-one will know. No-one else is watching. Have you made your choice?" Terra shook in place, then nodded. "Yes, I've made my choice," she said. She raised the hand holding the dagger, shifting her grip to point the dagger downwards... ...and swung her arm to the side to jam it into her duplicate. The jester mask abruptly changed to a sad expression, complete with painted tears. "How dare...!" the fake Terra began, her voice distorted. "You fool!" Terra backed away, but the ground began to crumble underneath her. With a yelp, she tumbled into a black void, and everything went dark. She still felt herself falling, but then it changed to more of a floating sensation, and her surroundings gradually came back into focus. As the blurry colors became more defined, she was able to move, sitting up and looking around. It seemed like she was still in the clearing with the altar, but Sinon was there too, now, and both of them were back in their normal gear. The blue catgirl rubbed her head as she sat up and groaned, then noticed Terra was there as well. "Terra!" she called out, getting to her feet. Terra got up as well and ran over to give her a hug, as best she could with her armor on. Sinon gasped out, "I was so worried when you disappeared!" "Me too," Terra agreed, patting Sinon on the back. "I think I failed the test, though..." "Wait... you got tested too?" Sinon asked, tilting her head. Terra gently pulled away from Sinon and nodded. "Yeah. I got put in front of this altar..." "...and there was a jester version of yourself..." Sinon continued for her. "...and I was offered a ton of loot..." Terra added. Sinon just nodded and folded her arms, thinking aloud. "I think we both got the same test, then. Which I guess means that the 'you' on the altar wasn't real? But I didn't know that, and for all we know if I'd attacked that Terra it would have really done something to you. So, you... didn't take the offer either?" Terra shook her head. "No. All that gear was tempting, but... it wasn't worth the price." Smiling, Sinon nodded back to her. "Yeah, that's how I felt. But that's okay, we'll just have to get all that stuff legitimately, won't we?" Terra chuckled and agreed, "Yeah, and it'll feel all the better when we do." She glanced around, and at the opposite end to the clearing from where she came in, she saw another hollow log in the wall, glowing just like the one at the entrance had been. "Looks like we can leave over there." "Hang on," Sinon replied, turning back to the altar. "Before we go, there's something I want to do." "What's that?" Terra asked, cocking her head to one side. Sinon walked over to the altar, grabbing onto the edge and pulling herself up so she could climb up on top of it. With a grin, she turned around to face Terra again as she spread her legs out and squatted down, her legs holding the front tails of her ranger's coat up to expose her slit. Seeing where this was going, Terra grinned and crouched down a little for a better view as Sinon relaxed her muscles and started pissing at full blast onto the altar. Droplets splashed off in various directions but most of it pooled up on the smooth stone and spread outwards evenly, making a bigger and bigger puddle on the stone surface. Her stream pattered loudly against the stone, the puddle of piss too shallow for it to splash, the yellow pool spreading until it reached the side edges of the altar both in front of and behind Sinon. Cascades of golden liquid began to pour over the edges, dripping down over the ornate carvings and making their way down towards the stone platform the altar was on. Sinon gave a satisfied sigh as she continued to shower the altar in urine, so much of it pouring down the sides now that her fluid was starting to spread out over the stone around the altar, two more puddles forming in front of and behind her. The platform was made of individual blocks, so her piss began running through the crevices between them to spread even further. Her stream came to an end, and Terra thought she was done, but with a glance up she could see that Sinon's bladder bar wasn't quite completely empty. Getting up, Sinon hopped off the altar into a dry part of the ground and went to each of the four pillars holding up the overhang in turn, standing before them and spreading her coat's front tails to give each pillar a quick splash of her piss. When she got to the last one, she stood there for a few seconds longer to fully empty out, clenching and forcing out the last spurts of pee onto the pillar. "There we go," Sinon said triumphantly as she walked over to where Terra was and looked back, folding her arms and grinning. "Now we can leave." Terra paused a moment to take in the view before following after Sinon, who had started to head towards the exit log. Once they were both inside it together they were taken elsewhere, finding themselves back in the clearing they had first found the trial entrance in, the unusually-colored leaves of the trees around them telling them they were back in the main overworld. "Well, now-?" Terra began, only to hear a little 'Quest Completed' jingle as she stepped back onto the grass. A moment later she reeled in place as she felt the ecstatic surge from gaining a level, Sinon crying out in surprise beside her as lights burst out from both of them to signify it. Shaking her head, Terra opened her stats screen and confirmed that she had gained over a full level's worth of XP – and was halfway to the next level, too. "Hah, maybe we didn't fail after all!" Sinon declared, fiddling with a menu that Terra couldn't see before holding up her bow. It had a blue glow around it now, and Terra went into her inventory to confirm it: her sword now had extra freezing damage added to it, and its stats had been increased, too. "Nice!" Terra exclaimed, taking out the sword and swinging it at the empty air in front of her. "I want to go try this out!" "Me too," Sinon agreed, before adding in an exasperated tone, "But can we maybe find something other than the birds to fight?" -------------------- Terra leapt up high into the air and brought her flaming claymore down onto the giant spider in front of her, cleaving through it completely, its body collapsing into a pile of money and items. She raised her head to look for another foe, seeing a group approaching from the opposite side of the big circular room they were in, lit by the sconces on the walls. They were in the Black Marble Tower doing the initial ascent, since it wasn't meant to be done entirely in one go. However, beating the first boss would unlock more places for them to explore, so they had geared up and headed in once they had gained enough levels and money to feel ready for it. Living up to its name, all of the walls and floors were made from black marble, sometimes smooth and sometimes carved, all of it highly reflective – not just of light but of Sinon's magic arrows too, as they had found out. Sinon let out a shout as she pulled back her greatbow, the arrow crackling with electricity, and fired. It bounced between the cluster of spiders scuttling towards them, doing more damage on each bounce, before exploding on the last one in the chain for extra damage. Terra charged forward, spinning in a circle with her sword held out, plowing into the group of spiders and cleaving through most of them. The first few had enough health left to survive but the ones in the back did not, and she wiped out most of the group. Quickly trying to dash away, she couldn't dodge all of the sharp fangs of the surviving spiders, two bites hitting her. Though her armor negated most of the physical damage, Terra groaned from the poisoning effect, staggering away and pulling out an antidote potion, chugging it down as quickly as she could, shaking off the lingering nausea. They'd prepared well, but that didn't make the actual poisoning itself feel any better. Before she could charge back in, Sinon fired off an arrow that hit one of the spiders and exploded in a burst of flame, taking out all but one of them. Terra charged in and sliced through the last one, and was relieved when she heard the chime that indicated they'd finished the gauntlet on this particular floor, the lights brightening a bit. Terra panted a little as she went around and gathered up all the dropped items on the floor, letting out an "Ooh!" at a high-tier ring that had dropped, pulling up her inventory to inspect its stats. "Poison resist? That would have been really useful a minute ago," she grumbled, but swapped it in for one of her other rings anyways – they'd probably run into more spiders and it had a lot of other good passive bonuses, too. Sinon came over and joined her as the two of them checked the loot and swapped items back and forth. Both of them were an imposing sight by now with the game giving them incredibly fancy armor; Sinon had a regal-looking green overcoat with gold trim and a pair of long tails, a high collar and fancy cuffs. Terra was in blue full plate etched with silver, complete with an oversized pair of shoulder guards, and she hoped to find a way to scale its level higher later because of its passive effect of lowering her cooldown times. "Okay, I think we can move on," Terra said once they had gone through all of the drops, closing her inventory window. "Where are we, again?" "The 29th floor," Sinon replied, sarcastically adding, "Still looking for that boss that's supposed to be on the 25th floor." Terra shrugged. "It was on the 25th floor in the beta," she explained, "But this place seems to have been changed a lot more than other areas." Scuffing one foot on the floor, she added, "They didn't have this cool reflecting thing going on, for one, and they didn't have all the carvings and such on the stairs. The doors looked different, too. And the monsters were different." "How high did you get?" "Floor 69," Terra replied, then pre-empted any response with a nod, grin, and a "Nice." Rolling her eyes, Sinon inquired, "Was anything the same?" "Uh..." Terra trailed off. "It was still called Black Marble Tower?" "I thought as much. Let's continue." The two of them went through the doors at the far side of the tower and back onto the exterior staircase. A railing on the outer edge stopped them from falling off, though Terra had also discovered there was a wall of force around the tower – probably to stop anyone from trying to skip floors with flight. The railing was held up by elaborately carved posts in a variety of styles and shapes, all of them made out of black marble. Terra had to admit it was a neat effect; every time they cleared a floor, they could see the landscape around them, getting further and further away the higher up the tower they went. Different regions of the world were visible from each set of stairs, and if they got high enough they'd be among the clouds. At the top of the stairs was a landing outside of another double door, tall and imposing with two huge handles just like all the others. However, this one had a fountain in the corner of the landing; there had been one every 5 floors, though it didn't make any sense how the glittering water got there – Terra had told Sinon not to worry about it. Video game logic, and all that. Sinon bent over to take a deep drink, and Terra watched the colored bars above her head fill up – Sinon's HP was already full, but her MP went all the way to maximum, while her yellow BP bar increased a lot, almost but not quite full. Chuckling, Terra reached under Sinon's coattails and gave her a squeeze on the rump, making the cat gasp as she stood back up. "You tease," Sinon muttered, stepping back to let Terra take a drink from the fountain. The water was cool and refreshing, refilling Terra's HP and MP, and nearly filling up her BP as well, the Jex crossing her legs as she stood straight once more. "You're lookin' pretty full there," Terra taunted as she leaned back on the railing at the edge of the stairs, grinning. "You're not in any better condition," Sinon pointed out as she leaned on the wall of the tower, crossing her legs. Terra gave a chuckle, swishing her tail. "Want to make a bet?" "A bet?" "Yep. I bet you can't hold it until we clear the next floor," Terra said in a teasing tone. Sinon wasn't having any of it, however. "With my move and attack speed reduced?" she asked rhetorically, raising one hand to point over her head in the general direction of her stat bars, and the debuff icons currently next to them. "And decreased accuracy and dodge change? No thanks." "Aww, come on-" Terra began, but Sinon simply bent forward and reached behind her, grabbing her coattails and spreading them apart. Terra heard splashing as Sinon sprayed piss against the wall behind her, her urine running over the elaborate carvings on the outer wall and down towards the landing of the stairs. "No," Sinon said with an air of finality, swishing her hips and spraying pee from side to side behind her. "And I suggest you do the same." "Maybe after I've enjoyed the show," Terra remarked playfully, squatting down to get a better view between Sinon's legs at the golden stream spraying the wall. Sinon gave a brief chuckle, clenching her muscles and stopping her stream. "Well, if it's a show you want, how about this?" she offered, standing up straight and then raising one leg, holding it up with a gloved hand, the other bracing herself on a dry part of the wall. Relaxing again, Sinon sent her piss stream off to the side and down the stairs, the golden arch of urine clearing quite a few steps before breaking up into a shower of droplets, splashing all around and pouring over the edges of the steps. "Yeah, that's pretty good," Terra agreed with a low lustful growl, watching the yellowed stream gushing from Sinon's pussy. Sinon smirked, letting a few more seconds pass before clenching and stopping again. "Or maybe..." she said teasingly, walking over to the fountain. Swinging one leg up, she rested her heel on the railing, positioning her hips over the fountain and soon gushing her golden water into it, splashing loudly in the glittering fluid. "...this?" Terra slipped behind Sinon and watched over her shoulder, eyes following the stream that splashed into the basin of healing water. "Mmm-hmm," she agreed, pressing her head against the side of Sinon's, then leaning in a little more to give her a light, playful nip on the neck. "It's a good show." Reaching around, Terra pulled herself against Sinon's back, one hand rubbing over Sinon's belly through her clothes while the other felt up the curve of her chest. Sinon gave a soft hum and stopped peeing once more to turn around and face Terra, bumping her muzzle against the Jex's – and when she leant in closer, Terra reciprocated, the two of them kissing deeply. Terra's hands slid down Sinon's back to hold her close, squeezing her hips, and Sinon pressed close in return, straddling one of Terra's legs, the cat hugging herself close to Terra. Breaking the kiss, Sinon whispered pointedly, "Your armor's in the way." "I'll-" Terra began, only to hear liquid hitting metal as Sinon started pissing on her leg. Moments later it ran through the gaps in the armor and started soaking Terra's leg underneath, the cat giving a small giggle as she leant in for another smooch. "You little..." Terra began with a smirk of her own, pulling Sinon into another kiss, sliding her tongue into Sinon's mouth and bumping it to the cat's. They groaned as they made out for a few seconds before Sinon stopped her stream and suddenly gave Terra a shove, knocking her onto her back with a clatter of armor on the floor, while Sinon collapsed with her and sprawled out on top of Terra's body. Giving a low muffled groan into Sinon's mouth, Terra reached out to the side to fumble with her inventory as best she could to disable her armor, the metal plates disappearing soon and leaving her in her starter clothes. Another few menus and a confirmation later, and she was naked. Sinon pressed closer to Terra, grinding her hips against the Jex's, letting go with one hand to strip herself too via her menus, her naked body soon pressed up against Terra's, grinding her damp pussy up against Terra's wet folds, their breasts pressed together as Sinon lay on top of Terra. A few seconds later Sinon broke the kiss and immediately began turning around, shuffling on her hands and knees to reposition herself so that her hips were above Terra's head. The Jex stared up at Sinon's slit for a moment before Sinon lowered her hips and shoved her snatch against Terra's muzzle, while lowering her own head to lick at Terra's pussy a few times, soon sliding her tongue in. Terra groaned out and returned the favor, reaching up with both hands to grab Sinon's hips, closing her eyes as she ate out the cat's pussy, her tongue lapping at the smooth inner walls. As Terra pulled her tongue back to tease at Sinon's clit, a splash hit her tongue as Sinon suddenly resumed her stream and began pissing at full blast into Terra's mouth. Letting out a groan of surprise, Terra nonetheless swallowed the warm fluid down in gulps, tightening her grip of Sinon's hips to keep her rear held close. She groaned for another reason, too; as soon as she swallowed, she felt the need to pee growing, as though Sinon's piss was going straight to her own bladder. Raising her legs, she locked them around Sinon's head to hold the blue-furred cat in place so she could let loose, Terra's urine spraying against Sinon's tongue and into her maw. Sinon made no complaint, and instead groaned into Terra's pussy, sending vibrations through her tunnels as her tongue lapped over Terra's folds, drinking down Terra's pee despite some of it spilling past her lips and onto the ground. Terra squirmed from both pleasure and desperation; there was no question that Sinon's piss was going straight to her own bladder, keeping her trapped in the perpetual feeling of releasing a bursting bladder into Sinon's maw, the only relief coming from the occasional spill around her mouth as she kissed and licked over Sinon's pussy. Closing her mouth, Terra pushed her snout more firmly against Sinon's slit, partly wedging it inside, allowing her to stick her tongue into Sinon's tunnels and lap over the wet walls – as well as letting Sinon's stream spray down her chin and over her throat. Finally spreading her legs, she released Sinon from the leg lock, but Sinon seemed content to stay there, groaning into Terra's crotch as she drank gulp after gulp of pee, tongue lapping back and forth over Terra's clit and making her squirm against the marble floor. Panting through her nose, Terra tapped the side of Sinon's hips rapidly as an idea came to her. Sinon obligingly raised her hips – but didn't stop her stream, spraying Terra's head with golden fluid for a few seconds before finally cutting herself off. Terra chuckled and shook her head for a moment before asking, "Want to have some more fun?" Sinon raised her head, Terra's stream spraying off and over the Jex's own tail for a moment before Terra squeezed her muscles to stop the flow. "What kind of fun?" Sinon asked between breaths, her feline tail swishing above her rump. Terra reached out to the side to fiddle with her inventory, and Sinon looked back over her shoulder, surprised when a purple double-ended dildo appeared in Terra's hands. It had ribbing along the middle part, and was otherwise smooth around the ends. "What- where did you get that?" Sinon asked in disbelief. "I found a merchant," Terra replied with a wide grin. "A very special merchant in a back alley, offering special items. Wanna try it out?" "Sure," Sinon answered between breaths, climbing off of Terra. The Jex sat up a little and spread her legs out, letting Sinon watch as Terra slid one end of the dildo between her wet labia, groaning softly as she pushed it in until half of its length was inside of her. Leaning back a little, she beckoned for Sinon to join her with one hand, panting softly. Eagerly, Sinon crawled over, and Terra expected she might climb on top for a ride at first – but instead, Sinon lay on her back and shuffled forward to slip one leg underneath Terra's so that they could get into a scissoring position. Reaching down with one hand she grabbed the exposed half of the dildo and guided it towards her slit, giving a low moan as the tip of it penetrated her folds. Carefully, she slid herself down it, giving a pleased gasp from the ribbing teasing her wet walls, taking each inch into herself until only a small part of the middle was visible between them, their pussies almost touching. Terra took a few heavy breaths. "Wanna know something neat?" she asked. "What's that?" Sinon replied breathily. Terra reached down again and pressed one finger firmly against the exposed bit of the toy. It buzzed to life inside of them, vibrating against their vaginal tunnels, making Sinon groan out in surprise while Terra gave a deep, pleased hum. Rocking herself back and forth, Terra began to ride the toy, her motions also making the dildo move within Sinon a little. After recovering her bearings, Sinon did the same, pushing her hips forward and backward alternately, her spread pussylips kissing against Terra's whenever the two of them got close enough. After a short time, Sinon pushed her hips forward again and pressed her slit right up against Terra's, grinding to her as the Jex did the same, the toy fully buried within the two of them. Terra felt a spray of liquid against her, and looked down to see Sinon spraying her with urine, gushing directly against Terra's loins. Grinning and breathing heavily through her nose, Terra returned fire, still mostly full after earlier and spraying a hard stream of piss against Sinon's slit and inner thighs, the toy still vibrating against their sensitive inner walls. Grabbing onto Terra's leg with one hand, Sinon ground herself harder against Terra, pissing directly against her, their combined fluids making a puddle on the ground underneath them that spread out until it reached the stairs. Terra bucked her hips erratically, grinding to Sinon and riding the buzzing toy, feeling the warmth of Sinon's pee running over her thighs while she continued to spray the cat with her own urine. Each rock of her hips shifted the toy inside of Sinon as well, and Terra saw Sinon's eyes shut tight as she trembled, groaning. "Ah... Terra...!" she groaned out, her stream weakening quickly until it stopped. Terra grinned, panting as she felt her own climax approaching, rocking her hips back and then shoving them forward again harder, shoving her slit against Sinon's while the vibrating toy buzzed within both of them. Sinon arched her back and let out another, longer cry of pleasure as she was pushed over the edge, shuddering heavily and squirting in her climax, gripping Terra's leg firmly throughout as she tipped her head back. Terra was not far behind, rocking her hips for several more seconds to draw out Sinon's orgasm and reach her own. She stopped her stream as she focused on going for the finish, panting heavily as she put both hands on the floor to give her enough leverage to slide her hips faster, soon giving a loud moan as she climaxed as well. Shoving her hips forward as far as she could, she lay there with Sinon as the two of them basked in their euphoric bliss, pussies kissing while they came. Sinon flopped back when her orgasm came to an end, and Terra lasted several more seconds before she did the same, sprawling out on the landing, both of them left panting for breath in the wake of their climaxes. Terra shifted back slightly to reach down and press the vibrator again to turn it off, but lay there to enjoy her afterglow, only sliding herself away from Sinon once she had fully recovered. After lying there for a minute, Terra spoke up. "It's so unfair we don't get a buff for that." "Agreed," Sinon replied between breaths, "Why is there no 'afterglow' buff?" Chuckling, Terra pulled the vibrator out of herself and returned it to her inventory, then got back to her feet slowly, reaching down to offer Sinon a hand. The ranger took Terra's hand as Terra pulled her to her feet, stretching her arms over her head afterwards. "Well, shall we go in?" "In a moment," Terra said playfully, walking over to the door, still naked. Standing by the left half of the double door, she raised her left foot and planted her sole against it, leaning in before spraying the door with a shower of urine for just a few seconds, then lowering her foot once more. Sinon smirked and walked over to the right door and mirrored Terra's pose as the Jex stepped back, raising her right foot and putting it on the door. "One more before we go," she remarked as she leaned in; she was nearly empty and simply relieved the rest of her bladder onto the door, spraying it for just a couple of seconds before her stream weakened off and splashed on the ground between her and the ornate door. "Yeah, one more," Terra teased from directly behind Sinon as she pressed up against the blue cat's back, putting her arms around Sinon and grinding her hips against Sinon's rump. "What are-" Sinon began, lowering her leg, but Terra chuckled into her ear. Sinon felt wetness splashing against the back of one leg and running down it as Terra kept her held close, murmuring, "This is for peeing on my leg earlier." "Uh-huh, sure," Sinon retorted, shifting her hips back and grinding up against Terra. "You just wanted an excuse." "Maybe," Terra admitted, rocking her hips against Sinon's rump as her pee spilled down the back of Sinon's leg to the ground, forming a puddle. She stayed there for a few seconds to fully release and empty out, matting Sinon's fur against her leg with her urine, barely able to hear the hissing sound of her stream escaping. But finally, once she had run dry and squeezed her muscles to get the last few squirts out, she slipped away from Sinon and stood beside her. "Okay, let's go for real this time," Terra proclaimed, raising a hand to open her menu and re-equip her gear. "This tower won't clear itself out." "Sadly not," Sinon agreed, shaking her leg to get a few drops off of it, then dressing herself as well. Once they were both ready and had their weapons out again, they put their hands on the door handles and pushed the doors open together to head inside. The room was totally empty at first, but all of them had been so far. Where it did vary was in color scheme: The black walls were now spaced by white columns around the edge of the room, each one bearing a lit sconce, alternating between blue and purple flames in each. "Well, that's different," Terra murmured, creeping forward. Sinon gave a small hum in agreement, keeping her bow held ready, one arrow nocked but the bowstring slack. "About time they changed the color scheme. Maybe it gets fancier and fancier the higher you get in the tower." "Maybe..." Terra mused, stepping further forward. "Well, we'll just have to trigger the fight and see what we're facing this time." "Please no birds," Sinon muttered as they advanced. The lights in the sconces suddenly burned brighter and the doors swung shut behind them, slamming loudly, echoing within the big hollow space. Terra looked behind herself for a moment, then back in front of her at the room and the sigils on the floor that were now visible in the brighter lights. "Oh no, I know-" she began, looking up – and seeing something approaching from above. "Look out!" she cried, staggering backwards in a hurry. A shockwave knocked both of them to the ground as a massive, towering creature landed on the floor in the center of the room, and Terra quickly scrambled back to her feet. An enormous, gray, two-headed kobold holding an enormous club in each hand was rising back to his feet, and at the very top of her vision, Terra could see a health bar appearing with the words 'Niero, the Crusher' underneath it. "Here's where the boss got to!" Sinon called out as she drew back her bow and fired immediately, the arrow exploding in a burst of cold air upon impact. Terra trembled a little; the arrow had barely even chipped into Niero's health bar. "Oh fuck, he got a huge buff since the beta," she said as Niero didn't even flinch, and began to advance towards them. "He was like half this size before! We need to get out of here and come back later!" Sinon took a step back and glanced over her shoulder. "The doors are closed and have been locking every floor, this won't be any different," she surmised, reaching into her inventory as she backed away from the huge kobold. Holding a scroll in her free hand, she tried to activate it, but nothing happened, and she frowned, putting the scroll away again. "Just as I thought – this whole place blocks teleporting. We're going to have to fight." "How?!" Terra blurted out, backpedaling further as one of Niero's steps shook the whole room. Sinon pulled out a potion and chugged it, her whole body glowing a faint pink as she was granted a haste effect. "One hit at a time!" she shouted, raising her bow again. Terra took a breath and narrowed her eyes. "Fine, then. Let's give it our all!" Terra called out as she steeled herself and began to advance. "If I'm going to die here, then I'm at least going down fighting!" Niero raised a foot and Terra quickly ran to the side to get out of the way of his stomp, holding her flaming claymore in both hands as she slashed at his other foot, the ankle at around her head level. Sinon fired arrows rapidly under the effects of the haste potion, producing a series of colorful explosions above Terra. Niero swung downwards with one hand and Terra leapt out of the way, the shockwave from his club hitting the floor sending her tumbling across the black marble floor. "Okay, new plan!" she declared as she put away the claymore and pulled out a pair of jeweled longswords, one with a serrated blade and the other dripping with poison. She hadn't had the chance to use her dual-wielding skills yet, but she needed to be able to attack quickly rather than with the slow swings of her claymore, and with a health bar that big, stacking damage-over-time effects would be more reliable. Niero was advancing towards Sinon, who was getting close to the walls as she peppered him with arrows, so Terra ran back in and slashed at Niero's legs with both blades. The strikes did little damage directly, but next to the health bar at the edge of her vision, Terra saw two more icons pop up next to Niero's name alongside all the debuffs Sinon had already hit him with. She swung upwards to slash again and both icons had an "x2" appear by them, but she had drawn Niero's attention and he raised a foot to try and stomp on her again. Terra quickly backpedaled away from him as his foot came down and shook the room, but just as she was about to move in again, he twisted his upper body and swung low, the huge club hitting Terra near the end of the swing. It struck her with a surprising amount of force and sent her flying back, skidding and sliding across the marble floor, knocking the wind out of her and stunning her for a moment. She was just barely aware that he had taken off over half her health in a single hit – if not for her armor, she would have been flattened for sure. "He ain't called The Crusher for nothing," Terra grumbled as she struggled to get to her feet under the effects of the stun. It was just as well he had knockback as well, otherwise he would have easily been able to finish her off while she was helpless. It was time to up the ante, so Terra pulled up her inventory and quickly swapped her best potions into her quick slots; she'd been considering most of them as too good to use, but she couldn't afford to hold off any more. Sinon was holding her own for the moment, trying to make sure she didn't let Niero get too close to her as she backpedaled away from him and cycled between her special arrows as fast as they came off of cooldown. Niero raised both clubs up and Sinon uttered a curse, turning and going into a full run away from him as she guessed what was about to happen; the kobold leapt forward and swung downwards with both of them, sending out a shockwave from the point of impact that knocked Sinon over and sent her sprawling, but thankfully it didn't seem to do any direct damage. Terra ran over to catch up as she chugged one potion after the other: haste, agility, might, greater healing, MP regen, and ironskin; she didn't know if the extra defense would make much difference, but if it turned him from two-shotting her to three-shotting her it could be a deciding factor. Fortunately, Niero had a long recovery after the leaping lunge, giving Terra the opportunity to catch up and swing her blades. Her movement was quicker and her weapons felt lighter with the haste spell active, and she slashed away like a whirlwind, the numbers of stacks of poison and bleeding rapidly increasing as she struck over and over again. As Niero raised an arm, Terra didn't wait this time for him to swing and backed away quickly so that she would be out of range of the shockwave. She didn't have much in the way of ranged attacks, but every little would help, so she opened her inventory and pulled out the stack of flame shards she had amassed. Each crystal was just a single-use consumable that sent a ball of flame towards Niero, but any damage was preferable to none, so Terra hurled them as fast as she could. As soon as his club struck the ground, Terra began approaching again, ready to unleash another series of attacks. Sinon had gotten back to her feet and put more space between herself and Niero and had resumed shooting arrows, different elemental bursts enveloping the towering kobold's front where the arrows impacted. Just before Terra got to him, Niero suddenly staggered back and let out a groan, his arms going limp as he stood in place unsteadily. "Did we get him?" Terra wondered aloud, but a glance at his health bar showed he was only at half health. "No, but he's stunned!" Sinon yelled, taking the opportunity to use a charged shot that locked her in place for a moment – something far too dangerous to have used earlier in the fight. The brilliantly glowing arrow struck his front and burst in an explosion of light, taking off enough health that Terra actually saw his health bar go down a little. Seizing the opportunity, Terra dashed in and activated a whirlwind ability, starting to spin around and around next to his feet. She was glad that the game didn't let her get dizzy from using it; she was a miniature tornado of steel as she spun and slashed, cutting at him over and over, piling up the stacks of poison and bleeding in a matter of moments. Every second now she could see his health bar go down a little... they were really going to make it! But then Niero's stun ended, and he let out a roar, shaking the whole room and sending both of them sprawling on their asses, knocking Terra out of her whirlwind attack. "Oh come on, that's not fair!" she complained as she sprung back to her feet, but Sinon was more concerned – the now-enraged Niero began charging at her, one club raised up, each footstep reverberating through the whole room. "Terra, help!" Sinon yelled desperately as she ran as fast as she could, taking out another haste potion and drinking it to ensure she could move fast enough to outpace the towering kobold. "I'm coming!" Terra shouted back as she gave pursuit. Running a little bit ahead of Niero to cut him off, she leapt into the air and slashed at his legs again, hitting with both blades. She was prepared to chase after him again, but he suddenly turned to face her, both heads snarling as he raised his club and swung down. The club hit Terra dead on, and she felt like she'd been hit by a truck as she was pancaked against the ground in a moment, dazed and unable to focus her eyes. Sinon yelled out and fired more arrows at Niero to try and get his attention, but he was still facing Terra; even though the ironskin potion had meant she only lost a little under half her health, a stronger blow would be the end of her. Terra tried to get up, but the stunning effect made her limbs feel like they were made out of lead, and she barely got into a sitting position. She saw him raising both clubs, and closing her eyes, she was about to accept her fate... until she saw two things that made her smile instead. First, Niero's health bar was only a pixel wide. And secondly, she had gotten him up to fifty stacks of poison and bleeding both. The finishing blow for her never came. Instead, Niero let out a "Graaaaaaaaaaugh!" that shook the room before he could swing at her, and he fell to one knee and then collapsed backwards away from her, thumping loudly. Although lights exploded from him as well as a shower of loot like any other monster, his body remained, and Terra felt energy fill her as she leveled up, immediately restoring her to full health, and she leapt up to her feet, holding her swords in the air triumphantly. "Take THAT, you overgrown lizard!" Terra shouted at the top of her lungs, ignoring the coins, gear and items bouncing off of her shins as the pile of loot spilled across the floor. "Terra!" Sinon gasped as she ran over. "I thought you were done for." "So did I, for a moment," Terra admitted. She exhaled and put her swords away and turned to face the pile of loot. "Guess they thought he was a little too easy in the beta!" "What do we do now?" Sinon asked. "The doors still haven't opened..." "In the beta there was an item you got in the loot that let you progress," Terra explained. "I'll look for it in a moment. But first..." She darted over to Niero's body and clambered up his tail, onto the back of the giant kobold. Spreading her legs, she took a brief moment to make her lower armor disappear, then pumped both fists into the air triumphantly as she unleashed a heavy stream of piss onto the defeated boss. "Yeaaaaaah, take this!" she called out, bucking her hips and sending pee splashing across his scales. Snorting in amusement, Sinon was nonetheless quick to join Terra, nimbly climbing up onto Niero's back. "I wonder if he'll still have these marks the next time he spawns in?" she wondered aloud as she stood back-to-back with Terra and joined in showering Niero in piss, swaying her hips from side to side. "Oh, oh, better yet," Terra suggested as she pushed harder with her abdominal muscles to shoot out a harder spray, "They can put it under his health bar. Niero, the Crusher, marked by Terra and Sinon." Sinon chuckled in agreement, and the two of them stood there until they had both emptied their bladders onto his back. Jumping down from him, it didn't take long for Terra to find the glowing red gem that would let them progress, holding it up and dramatically crushing it in one hand. It crumbled to dust and then evaporated into a red mist that dissipated, and then they heard a bell toll from somewhere above them. The ground shook under them, and Sinon turned around, looking for danger. But it was just two pedestals rising up out of the floor, one of them smaller than the other, a fast travel marker rising out from the small one after a moment. Then, a ring of black marble levitated out of the other platform, turning in the air to orient itself vertically. A swirling, glowing portal appeared within it, showing somewhere unfamiliar: a landscape covered in snow and ice. "Attention, players," a voice suddenly spoke, sounding like they were all around them – the announcer's voice from the beginning of the game. "An important announcement needs to be made. Our first players have successfully reached the first milestone of Black Marble Tower." An image appeared in the air above them, initially showing clips from their fight against Niero. At first Terra felt proud, watching them handle the titanic foe, but when the last clip was of the two of them taking their victorious piss on his body, her ears flattened against her skull and she felt deeply embarrassed, knowing everyone in the game was likely watching. After a few seconds the image changed, showing the two of them in the boss chamber next to the pile of loot, and Terra realized it was a live feed after a moment. Before she could decide whether or not to try and flash the entire world since they had already seen her peeing, a recording showing more of the snowy area began to play. "But it does not end here. Rather, it is only beginning," the female voice continued. "For them, and for those who come after and do not fall along the way – each floor after this will take you to a new land. You must explore it and vanquish the evils that lurk there before you can proceed to the next floor." Sinon's eyes widened as the recording of the snowy zone disappeared and was replaced with a series of short video clips showing vastly different lands. "Each floor is another whole world?" she asked in disbelief. Terra nodded in reply, but the voice continued before she could say anything. "Only the truly dedicated will be able to reach the top of the tower and win," it announced, "So do not falter in your quest." "Yeah, but they're a lot smaller than this first one," Terra said to answer Sinon's question. The image shifted again and showed a snow-covered town, presumably also a live feed – with decorations suddenly popping into existence all over it. "To commemorate this achievement, a great celebration will be held in a few days' time. Everyone is welcome to join in – free meals will be provided for the duration of the celebration. If you want one to be held in YOUR honor... then catch up to our current leaders, and overtake them!" The image shifted to show Terra and Sinon again, but only for a couple of seconds before it disappeared and the announcement ended. There was an awkward silence for a few moments, and then Sinon turned to Terra. "Well... I guess we should head onward and attend the celebration," she suggested. "Not without all this, we're not!" Terra proclaimed, gesturing to the mounds of loot that still remained. There was so much of it that it took a while to gather it up, even with it teleporting into their inventories the moment they grabbed it. Piles of money and high-end gear were mixed with potent consumables. Since there was something for everyone, a lot of the gear was useless to them, but it would still sell for even more money. And then came the process of divvying it up... "I want it," Sinon asserted. "It'll raise my bow's level and its secondaries are too good to give up." "There was a bow in the loot we got," Terra pointed out. "And about five swords too." Terra sighed and looked over the whetstone in her hand. Or, as the item box floating above it called it, the Lesser Divine Whetstone of Grace. "It's a whetstone. You have a bow. You can't use a whetstone on a bow." "Sure you can. As you like to keep telling me... it's video game logic. Don't think about it." "All right, fine, but I want the skill point tome," Terra haggled. "Even foregoing all the shield stuff I'm still balancing multiple skill trees." "Deal." They traded items, and after using them both – which entailed Sinon amusingly rubbing the whetstone against the middle of her bow until its effect triggered – they finally made their way through the portal. It took them into the same town shown in the montage of the announcement, covered in snow as well as decorations celebrating their achievement. With all the colorful lights, streamers, and banners, it was very welcoming, doubly so since the signs congratulated Terra and Sinon specifically. Floating text that only Terra could see informed her that this was the town of Dyskal, in the world of Faervhan. If every floor meant a new world, she'd be seeing plenty more of them in due time... "Now this is more like it!" Terra declared, taking a few steps forward... before shivering and wrapping her arms around herself. "What the... it's freezing!" Sinon patted her on the back. "Don't forget to toggle your armor back on," she reminded Terra, "You're still going bottomless." -------------------- "Hey! Hey, look, there they are!" a voice called out from the crowd, and Terra inwardly groaned. Turning towards the voice, Terra saw another group of players pushing through the crowd towards them. The celebration at the perpetually snowed-in town of Dyskal was going well enough: everyone who had been able to catch up to Terra and Sinon by making it through the first thirty floors of the Black Marble Tower and get past Niero was able to join them. On top of that, the fast travel point for Dyskal had been activated for all players, though anyone who hadn't beaten Niero themselves was prevented from leaving the town by invisible walls. As a result, the turnout was very large, featuring players as low as level 1 who had been hiding in the starting town ever since the announcement at the beginning. Clearly, even though Terra and Sinon were making good progress, and had been doing more quests in the area around Dyskal, there were plenty of players who weren't all that far behind. Both Terra and Sinon had upgraded to the best armor the zone had to offer: stylish plate mail with fur lining for Terra, and a thick fur jacket and skirt for Sinon, with long fur cloaks for both of them – heavy and warm clothes that were a necessity in a game that actually made them feel cold if they weren't properly insulated. They could make do with potions or other temporary buffs if they had to, and the town itself had plenty of large fires to keep nearby players warm, and all the indoor areas counted as warm too. "Hi there," Terra replied to the group approaching them: two fighters, a cleric, and a ranger, going by their equipment. She and Sinon went through the routine of introducing themselves, letting people take snapshots with them, and recounting some adventures in previous zones, but she'd long since lost count of how many times she had done this already. Eventually slipping away from the group, Terra made her way back to the center of the town square. There was no fountain since the whole area was frozen over, but instead there were a trio of statues positioned in a triangle, now with colorful lanterns strung between them for the celebration. In the center of them, set up in front of the town's fast travel marker, a husky NPC was handing out free drinks from the table set up in front of him. Terra and Sinon had both discovered earlier that while there was technically a limit of 1 per person, and they couldn't be traded, it only checked what was in your inventory – so, drinking it and coming back would net you another one. Whether it was a bug or a feature, they weren't sure. Swiping another spiced mead from the table, Terra leaned against one of the statues. "Should you really be drinking another one?" Sinon asked. "I need another one or two or ten after dealing with so many people," Terra replied, opening the bottle and chugging its contents. With a refreshed gasp, she tossed the empty bottle over her shoulder, but it despawned before it hit the ground. "Being famous is tiring." Sinon gave a small chuckle and collected a mug of warm apple cider from the table, a replacement fading into existence a few seconds later. "I meant because of the side-effects," she remarked as she took a sip. Terra raised an eyebrow, but got the meaning a moment later. Opening up her inventory and checking her stats screen, she saw that she had collected several stacks of a 'buff' that was increasing the rate at which her BP went up. "Oh," she said simply, then shrugged and closed her inventory. "Well, we're in a town, it won't be a big deal." "Suit yourself," Sinon said before sipping again. "If you're so concerned, why are you drinking too?" A smirk crossed the cat's face. "Because I'm hoping we can slip away and have some fun together later," she purred quietly, leaning in close to Terra and nosing at her cheek. "Oh yeah?" Terra murmured, leaning back against her. "What did you-" "Hey, it's those two!" a voice called out, and Terra's eyes narrowed. After they had gotten away from the group of four clerics – which Terra was surprised had gotten anywhere at all – and absconded with another pair of drinks, Terra decided to try and find somewhere they would be less likely to be caught, and headed over to the edge of the town square. Big pine trees were liberally placed around the town, so Terra guided Sinon over to one and stood behind it, out of view of the square. "Do you think we should just head for the inn?" Terra suggested. Sinon shook her head. "No, it's part of the celebration too, they're handing out free food in there. It'll be just as busy." Terra sighed, popping open her bottle of mead. "I just want to get away from the crowds for a little bit-" "Oh, excuse me, are you Terra and Sinon?" another voice called out from nearby, and Terra's grip tightened on the bottle; were she not in a video game, she probably would have crushed it. By the time they had gotten away from the hyena barbarian and her animal companion, Terra was definitely starting to feel the effects of all the drinks she had had. "Let's go find somewhere to pee," she whispered to Sinon. "There's a tree right over there," Sinon suggested. Terra shook her head. "Not where everyone can see!" "You don't want people to watch? You don't mind when I watch." "Well, no, because you're my friend," Terra muttered. "I don't want everyone in the server to be able to see." "I think we're already past that point," Sinon pointed out, referring to the recording that had been taken of them after beating Niero. Terra blushed and shook her head again. "Once is enough. Let's just find a spot behind a house or something. This town's not very big but there's bound to be somewhere." They tried to slip away between buildings, but a huge, hulking wolf stopped them to say hi and ask if they had any advice on fighter builds. Terra gave him a few pointers and then moved away again, acutely aware of how rapidly her BP was going up – it seemed like the stacking effects got stronger the more of them there were, and she'd had one too many. Already her meter was getting perilously close to being full. Behind the houses, each one had a little garden area with trees and some small plants adapted for the environment, but they were just decorative and couldn't be harvested from like ones out in the wilderness areas. Unfortunately, other players who wanted to get away from the crowd in the square had had the same idea, and a group of two rangers and a summoner spotted them first, putting Terra and Sinon through the greeting routine once again. "Okay thanks nice to meet you gotta go good luck goodbye," Terra said as she forcibly made an exit after having enough of the pleasantries, dragging Sinon along with her into the gap between two buildings. Someone had evidently had the same idea as them, for there was a "???'s Mark" label on a puddle against one of the walls between some boxes and barrels, but just as Terra was about to go make her own contribution, she heard voices from up ahead and saw another group entering the alley, and quickly backtracked. "Almost starting to think we should just go out into the wilderness," Terra grumbled. "At night, while we've got these debuffs on?" Sinon asked rhetorically, following after Terra as they kept on the move. "The nighttime monsters around here are really nasty." "Okay, fine, where should we go, then?" "What about a shop?" Sinon suggested. "I can't imagine people are doing much shopping right now." "The NPCs won't care, so we just need an empty one..." Terra murmured in thought. "Okay. I think there's a magic item shop just around the corner from here." As fast as they could go with the desperation debuffs lowering their move speed, Sinon and Terra headed for the shop. Inside were shelves of items, but a tall and imposing figure decked out in dark robes and skull-decorated items was browsing the shelves, so Terra quietly guided Sinon back out of the shop. There were weird rumors floating around about the players who had taken necromancer as their class, and she didn't want to get involved with that. They slipped back out into the streets, only to be accosted by a pair of red pandas. "Hey, are you-?" "Yeah, it's us, but we're kinda busy, we'll be in the square later if you want to chat, okay, see you, bye!" Terra blurted out before hurrying onwards, with Sinon following after her. There had to be somewhere else they could go! She was running out of time; she felt herself getting slower as her BP meter got perilously full, and with a quick glance she confirmed she was at 99%. There was a small grace period once you hit 100%, but if she didn't find somewhere soon, she was going to have an accident... "Wait, over there!" Sinon said suddenly and pointed to another shop. She hurried on and Terra rushed after her with her legs pressed together, hoping she'd make it in time. The shop only sold crafting materials, so it was only useful to a handful of classes to begin with, and even then only to players who bothered to take those skills, so it was mercifully empty when the two of them burst in. "We made it!" Terra gasped out as she took a quick look around. There were shelves of items against the walls, with baskets, crates and buckets of materials arranged in the center of the shop floor, with a counter at the back and a single arctic fox NPC behind it whose only response to the two was to turn her head towards them. The floor was just made of wooden planks with no carpeting, and behind the counter were even more boxes and crates of supplies. The closest thing to the doorway was a big bucket of coal lumps, and Sinon was the first one to get to it, spreading her legs as she straddled it, grabbing the front of her fur skirts and lifting them up. With a groan, she started pissing, her stream gushing downward and splashing onto the topmost coal chunk, spilling over it and down into the bucket's contents to soak everything within. Terra hurried over to try and find something to use, but just as she did, her bladder meter completely filled up. She was slowed to a crawl as she groaned out from the spike in desperation, clenching her muscles to avoid spilling, but she was out of time. With one hand she opened her inventory and quickly hit the button to take off all of her clothes – she didn't have the time to only take off the bits she needed. Now naked, and only able to shuffle forward at a fraction of her normal speed, she moved to the closest available thing in the store: A pile of rolls of cloth stacked up in triangular fashion. With only a couple of seconds left before the game would force her to start pissing, she spread her legs and released the floodgates herself. A hard blast of Terra's urine struck the topmost roll of cloth and soaked into it in moments, as she groaned out from the sensation of relief. Excess piss was soon spilling down to the next roll and soaking into it as well, the pattering sound as well as the splashing from Sinon showering the coal bucket filling the whole shop. "Disaster averted," Sinon commented between breaths. "I didn't think you were going to make it." "Almost didn't," Terra admitted, shifting her hips forward a bit to splash some more of the fabric. Exhaling, she glanced over at Sinon, and gave a wide grin. "Since we're already here and have made a mess... what do you say we 'mark down' a few other things in this shop?" Sinon chuckled in response, cutting off her stream with some difficulty; Terra could see her bladder meter was still over 90% full. "I don't see why not," she replied as she shuffled to the side, further along the row of smithing supplies: she gave the buckets of iron and silver ores a quick splashing each, but then moved on to the rack of tools beside them. The hammers and tongs all got heavily doused in Sinon's piss as she wiggled her hips back and forth, hosing them down, splashing a good amount of urine onto the floor below the rack as well. Terra, meanwhile, didn't even stop pissing as she moved along from the drenched pile of cloth to a stack of fur pelts, splashing the floor between them. As she showered the topmost pelt in pee, she was surprised at how absorbent it was, taking a long time for her piss to spread outwards as she thoroughly soaked it. Her own stream splashed into the saturated fur and foamed a little, and Terra leaned forward, reaching up, putting her arms behind her head as she pushed her chest out, giving a satisfied groan as she showed off for Sinon... And then the shop door opened. Sinon cut off her stream in reflex, and she, by herself, might have been able to get away with feigning innocence. But Terra, completely naked, posing and pissing at full blast onto the stack of furs, had no chance of hiding what she was doing from the person who had just walked in the shop door. The snow leopard who had come in took a brief moment to notice what was happening, and then froze. She was dressed up in fur-lined, blue mage's robes with a big pointy hat and a long wooden staff with a big sapphire at the end, her big tail sticking out from under her robes in the back, with feathery wings poking out from behind her as well. Her fur, rather than being gray, was a light blue color that faded to purple in parts, with dark blue rosettes, her pink hair spilling out from underneath the hat. Terra stared in bewilderment, too caught off-guard to even stop pissing, her stream pattering loudly on the drenched pelt on top of the stack. As she stared at the snow leopard who was staring at her, she saw the nametag above her identify her as Rose, only a couple of levels behind the duo. But after a moment, Rose's surprised look changed to one of amusement as her lips curled into a smirk. "May I join you?" she asked deviously, her tail starting to swish behind her. "I came to refill on ingredients, but what you're doing looks fun..." "Eheh, sorry," Terra apologized, finally stopping her stream. "Hope you didn't need any of this." "Oh, pff, don't worry about it," Rose said with a dismissive wave of her hand. "These are all just decorative." She walked over to a planter full of herbs just below waist height and raised a leg, using her staff to maintain her balance as she held her leg up high with her other hand. The lower parts of her robes fell away and Terra clearly saw that Rose had nothing on underneath, a golden stream gushing out from Rose's bared slit a moment later to splash into the planter, rustling the herbs growing inside of it. "Oh," Terra said, staring at the sight and how shameless Rose was. Then, a grin came to her own face. "Well, in that case..." she remarked, turning around and looking for new spots to go. Against the wall closest to her were shelves of alchemy ingredients in little baskets, so she walked over and raised a leg, resting it on a higher shelf, and unleashed her bladder once again, wiggling her hips. Droplets of urine rained down onto mushrooms, vines, and flowers, splashing and soaking all of them, the excess spilling out of the baskets and onto the shelves holding them, in turn dripping off the shelves and onto the floor. Sinon, meanwhile, had gone over to join Rose. On a low stand there was an alchemy set of different flasks and glass tubes, and Sinon put one foot on the side of the stand next to it while reaching down to spread her slit lips apart, exposing her pussy fully before starting to piss against the equipment. "I'm Sinon; nice to meet you, Rose," she said casually as her stream rained against the glass, producing a hollow ringing sound. Rose giggled and watched Sinon's stream as she further drenched the planter in her urine. "You too, Sinon," Rose replied with a grin. "So you two are the ones who have been ahead of everyone else, huh?" "We sure are!" Terra said proudly, taking a bowl off of the shelf and holding it between her legs to turn the ground herbs inside into a soup with her heavy stream of piss, filling the container rapidly. "I wonder, how many unknown marks I came across were yours?" Rose pondered aloud. Stopping her stream briefly and lowering her leg, she went to join Sinon in the alchemy supplies, standing in front of a rack of glass phials and unleashing her stream against them, making them rattle around inside of the wooden holder. "At least a few, I'm sure," Sinon answered, letting her stream weaken slightly so that it splashed on the table directly, a puddle growing on top of it that spread outwards towards the edges, some of it dripping off while more of it ran down the underside. "We've been leaving a lot of them around here and there." "I bet, though probably not as many as me," Rose teased with a giggle. "With only a fighter and a ranger, you're missing out on all the fun." Terra returned the now piss-filled bowl to the shelf and hunted down a new target: a box of shiny magic crystals next to the counter. She turned away from the counter and sat on the edge of it, spreading her legs out wide. "What kind of fun?" she asked as she opened the floodgates again, hosing down the crystals with piss, making both splashing and rattling sounds as they were jostled against each other by her stream. "Potion making!" Rose answered proudly, turning and pissing against the side of a nearby barrel. "I came in here to get more ingredients for it. I've gotta chug mana potions all the time to be effective, and you two already probably know how much the normal potions bump your BP." "Yep," Terra answered, showering the box of gems with piss. "It's hard not to notice with some of them," Sinon concurred. She cut off her stream and went to join Terra by getting up on the counter on the opposite side of the NPC, squatting down on top of the counter to piss against the wooden surface, excess urine soon pouring over the edge and down to the floor. "Well, you can do even more fun stuff if you brew your own," Rose explained, raising a leg again to send her stream splashing to the side against more barrels, drumming against each of them. "I'll have to show you!" "I want to see that," Terra said, leaning back and raising her legs, then turning around on the counter without stopping her stream, sending golden droplets splashing across the countertop beside her before it began to spray some of the boxes behind the counter. "Actually... are you in a group, Rose?" "Nope! I've been going solo. I wasn't lucky enough to find someone who had as much fun doing this as you two obviously are," Rose said with a wide grin, lowering her leg and then squatting to piss onto the floor and make a big puddle. "Solo healer is... not tough, since I've got defensive buffs, it just takes ages to kill anything." "Well, would you like to join us?" Terra offered. "Really?" Rose gasped in surprise, standing up suddenly. She splashed the insides of her mage robes with pee for a moment before she stopped her stream, and shook them a little with one hand as she looked at Terra. "I'm like five levels behind you two..." "You'll catch up fast," Sinon replied, though Terra couldn't tell from her tone if it was a promise or a threat. As she turned around to join Terra in pissing behind the counter, sitting down and spreading her legs to soak a few rolls of fabric sticking out of a box, she continued, "What kind of magic do you have?" "Ice and healing primarily," Rose answered, walking over towards the other two, her gaze flicking back and forth between them as she got close enough to be able to see their streams. "And I have the potion crafting skills as I mentioned." "You can never have enough healers!" Terra said enthusiastically. "And Terra can stay in front and take all the hits for us," Sinon added with a smirk. Rose giggled as Terra frowned a little, but didn't disagree. "Yeah, I'd love it if someone less squishy could draw aggro for me," Rose said, nodding her head. "I had barely enough HP to survive a hit from Niero, and that was with a max HP buff potion in effect. I'd be happy to join!" Terra started to run dry, but didn't force out the last of it, seeming to get an idea. "Great! I'll get to that in just a second... there's something I want to try first." Sinon raised an eyebrow as she looked over, her own stream weakening too. "Hm? What's that?" Grinning wide, Terra got up and walked over to the NPC, who only turned her head to look at the Jex. Terra pressed right up against the cashier's side and let loose the rest of her bladder onto the fox's leg, splashing her clothes, but the NPC didn't react at all, and Terra gave a little chuckle. "Just as I thought." "Really? Hang on," Sinon said, hopping off the counter and standing on the other side of the cashier, who continued to look at Terra. Raising a leg and slamming her heel onto the counter, Sinon leaned on the NPC from the other side and sprayed her with what remained of her urine, her stream splashing onto the cashier's robes and soaking into them, leaving a big wet stain. "Huh," Sinon said simply, clenching her muscles to give a final extra spurt of pee. "Oh yeah, I already knew that," Rose bragged. "Watch this!" Climbing up onto the counter, she stood directly in front of the NPC and spread her legs, reaching down and holding the front of her robes open wide to expose her pussy again. The other two took a step back just in time as Rose let loose a hard stream directly onto the vulpine shopkeeper, but she didn't react to it at all, even as the piss soaked her front. "Well, going shopping just got a lot more fun," Terra joked. "It works on any NPC, though I wouldn't recommend trying to do it on one that walks around," Rose remarked with a playful giggle. Shifting her hips a little closer, she sprayed the top of the fox's head with her urine, soaking the red fur there and watching her piss run down both the front and back of her head, further soaking into her clothes. Just as her stream started to weaken, she swished her hips from side to side all of a sudden, splashing both Terra and Sinon with her spray, laughing as they both recoiled in surprise. "Gotcha!" Rose teased with a wink, clenching her muscles and spraying the rest of her piss onto the shopkeeper's front, the weaker stream leaving a wet line all down the front of the fox's clothes. "Well, now you have to join our group," Terra said with a smirk as she opened her menu to send Rose an invitation. "So you'll stick around long enough for us to get our revenge." Rose melodramatically went "Oh noooooooo" as she raised a hand to hit the button only she could see and accept the invite. "Whatever will I doooooooo." Sinon gave a low chuckle and Terra snickered, glancing at the stat bars above Rose's head now that she could see them. "Hey, you're not fully empt-" "Gotcha!" Rose taunted, turning to Terra and hitting her with the last splash of piss she had kept in reserve. Terra shook her head as Sinon couldn't help but laugh, and Terra sighed before laughing it off – and swearing vengeance silently to herself. Even if the game got harder from here on out, she'd be ready for it. With Rose's help and Sinon backing her up, she'd take on anything it threw at her... for as long as it took to reach the end and get free from the game. Not that it was all bad, being able to explore and see new things, spend so much time with Sinon, and piss on basically anything she wanted to... Did she really want to go back? As Rose and Sinon talked about what to do next, Terra thought that over. If things ever got too rough she could always just 'retire' in game and stick to safer zones, but she was having the time of her life. She could figure that out when the time came. For now, it was time to enjoy the celebrations.
