It is the culmination of everything I have learned as a writer to date: believable characters with great depth to them, a setting to draw the reader into, a high stakes adventure, and emotional moments between the cast. As before, this is only rated "Adult" on IB due to the violence as it is an adventure story with some combat in it. It is NOT an erotic story.
The Second Edition, in addition to fixing some grammatical errors that slipped through editing, includes a set of appendices that expand on the book with five bonus scenes, character notes, and setting lore. It also features cover art by

For first-time readers, welcome! I hope you enjoy the story as much as I enjoyed writing it. For those who read the first edition, the text of the main story has not been meaningfully changed, but please check the appendices and the included art from the talented artists I commissioned.
I am not proud of much in my life, but I am proud of this story. It makes me happy. I gave it everything I had, and I greatly enjoy going back and re-reading certain parts of it for the emotions it can evoke, the characters in it, and its messages. Even if it falls into total obscurity, it will always hold a special place in my heart. And nothing can take that away from me.
Even if I write another book, be it in a new setting or a continuation of this one, it is unlikely it will have as much personal meaning to me as this one does. This truly is my best work.
