"writing": "The long silence of the underground fortress was broken by the screams of Midna and the canine yelping of Link as the two of them slid down the steep slope leading into it – one moment they had been inspecting a ruined building on the surface, and the next, the floor had dropped out and sent them falling into a long tunnel, too steep to get a foothold on. Partway down they had passed through some black cloud that had forced Link into his wolf form, leaving him scrabbling futilely with his paws as he tumbled down the slope.\n\nThe bottom of it dumped them into a deep pool of water with a loud splash, and Link doggie-paddled to the opposite side before climbing out and shaking his body, spraying water in all directions, with Midna clinging to his tail to avoid being thrown off. \"Watch it!\" she shouted at him, and once he stopped moving she grumbled and began brushing off the algae that had stuck to her from their dip in the water.\n\nFortunately it didn't seem like there were any immediate threats, though leaving the way they came was practically impossible. The room was built from enormous brownish stone blocks, with four large columns reaching up to the ceiling, and stairs leading down to a lower central area before going back up to a door on the far side. The age of the place was clearly told by the amount of mosses and fungi growing on the walls, the walls worn down not by wind but by water leaking through the ceiling in some spots. If not for their respective capabilities to see in the dark, it would have been impossible to make out anything, as no torches adorned the walls.\n\n\"Well, this is another mess you've gotten us into,\" Midna chastised the wolf she was sitting on, folding her arms. \"Would it have killed you to hit that switch from further away?\" Link only responded with a low grumble. \"Whatever. I don't like being wet. Let me just turn you back for a moment and...\"\n\nShe gestured with one hand, but nothing happened, and she frowned, her one visible eye narrowing. \"What?\" she wondered aloud, and looked around, paying a bit more attention to their surroundings. Black motes danced in the air, and she hummed in understanding. \"I see. The influence of the Twilight is strong here. I guess you'll just be stuck in that form for now. It beats being in that normal costume of yours. Have you ever washed that thing?\"\n\nLink turned his head to give her an incredulous look, then padded off down the stairs in front of them to get to the door on the opposite side. It was a heavy lacquered wood door with iron reinforcements, and despite being rusted it still seemed sturdy enough. By grabbing a lever next to the door with his teeth and yanking it downwards, Link was able to open the door, some ancient mechanism having survived long enough to still function, and they passed onwards.\n\nThe next room was dominated by a towering black stone slab in the very center of it, with another door at the far end. Lining both sides of the room were enormous stone statues that looked like suits of armor, complete with swords they held in both hands, pointing straight up. Yet their armor had curious designs with lines running across the segments in a manner reminiscent of how Midna's headpiece looked. \"Hm? What's this?\" Midna asked aloud as they approached the slab, \"Hang on, there's writing on it. Let me off so I can read it.\"\n\nLink sat on his haunches to let the imp dismount, then got back onto all fours, his fur still damp. Midna looked up, her hair extending into a giant hand that pushed on the ground to lift her body up to read the higher parts of the text. \"This is in the language of the Twili!\" she declared, though Link was only paying partial attention as he padded off towards the nearest statue. It was rare for her not to be focused on him, and he needed a little privacy for a moment, even stuck as a wolf...\n\n\"It says... this fortress was built as a safe haven against those who sought to drive us away...\" she read, her visible eye scanning back and forth. \"...and... it remains hidden through the magic water within it... any who spill tainted waters upon these grounds will be punished. I see... so, what do you think-\"\n\nShe turned to where she expected Link to be, only to see him standing next to one of the statues and starting to raise his back right leg. \"No! Bad dog!\" Midna snapped at him, using the giant hand made from her hair to launch herself over to him, landing squarely on his lower back. Link gave a gruff protest from the sudden weight, forced to lower his leg. \"Not here! Not unless you want to awaken every guardian in this place.\"\n\nLink growled a little, but she wasn't intimidated. \"Get us out of this place first. You can handle that, right?\"\n\nRelenting, Link began to trot towards the door at the far end. \"There must have been another way out,\" Midna mused as he reared up to grab the lever next to the door, \"Probably well-hidden and guarded, but I'm sure you can handle it, right? The sooner you find it, the sooner you can leave and... do what you have to do.\"\n\nThe next room was much larger, with multiple doors leading off in different directions, moss-adorned stairs leading to an upper level, and water features – several of them. A large fountain in the very center of the room sent water flowing down channels towards the other walls, and smaller fountains set into the walls here and there depicted figures pouring water from jars or their hands. At any other time Link might have appreciated their artistic value, but right now the constant splashing of water was not doing his need to pee any favors. The only thing keeping his mind off of it was the presence of shadowy foes in the room – not much of a threat, but more than the previously empty rooms they had been through.\n\nOn they explored, with Link awkwardly grabbing the levers beside each door in his teeth to pull them open whenever they had to go through. It felt like every single room had some kind of fountain or other water feature in it somewhere, even the corridors that simply connected rooms together, and even the ones that didn't still had water running down the walls and dripping onto the floors to only make Link's need all the worse.\n\nOne dead-end room locked them in with the lever refusing to budge, until he vanquished the shadowy foe within – that attacked by manipulating the water channels flowing through the room to shoot blasts of water at him, assaulting him not just physically but also with the repeated splashing of liquid that only made the pressure in his lower belly all that much harder to fight against. With enough lunges at the figure, slashing with his claws and biting at the almost-intangible enemy, it finally let out a long groan and then its figure lost all cohesion, turning to liquid and splashing to the ground, flowing away through the water channels.\n\n\"I guess it was too much to hope for this place wouldn't be heavily guarded anymore,\" Midna groused as Link lowered his muzzle and bashed his shoulder into the chest that had appeared, popping it open. The imp's hair extended into a hand and reached into the chest, pulling out a map a moment later, and she unrolled it to check it, crossing one leg over the other as she sat perched above his thighs.\n\n\"Let's see... that must be where we came in...\" she murmured, and with her distracted again, Link shifted ever so slightly closer to the chest. He slowly raised his rear right leg, hoping to use the now-empty chest as a means for relief, but let out a yelp when Midna's hair-hand shoved his leg back down to the floor. \"Stop that! We're making good progress. I can even see which room is the exit on this map. Stop acting like a little puppy and get moving!\"\n\nGrumbling but otherwise not resisting, Link turned back to the door, which was now willing to open up, following Midna's guidance as she used the map to direct him whenever she wasn't holding onto his tail to avoid falling off when he ran around or fought the lesser shadow monsters. A side room guarded by a cluster of the creatures yielded a small chest with a key in it, and back in the big central room Link got halfway up the stairs before letting out a yelp and stopping, his back half lowering down as his rear legs shook.\n\n\"What is it?\" Midna shouted in annoyance, flailing her arms to avoid falling off. Link gave a whine and glanced back at her, but she merely scowled at him. \"Oh come on, don't tell me the master swordsman doesn't know how to hold his bladder! Get a move on already and stop whining. The more you delay, the worse it'll get!\"\n\nLink winced and trembled for a moment, having to focus his efforts on avoiding a leak, but with some determined clenching of his muscles he rode out the wave of desperation and was able to hurry on up the stairs. Running wasn't making it any easier to hold it, but he needed to get out of here, and quickly. The key opened up a locked door on the second floor leading into another section of the underground fortress – and these rooms featured small holes near the tops of the rooms that water flowed in through, creating waterfalls that kept the channels around the edges of the rooms flowing. More than that, they also filled each room with the sound of crashing water, making Link whine and keep his tail down as he fought against the urge to pee on the floor. Crossing his legs as a wolf was difficult, but any time they stopped, he attempted to do so, placing one rear leg up against the other as firmly as he could until they had to move again.\n\nWincing as he pulled on the lever for another door, Link slunk inside, looking back over his shoulder when the door slammed shut and the lock engaged, trapping him inside. This time there were not only one, but two of the shadowy water mages flying around the room shooting blasts of water at him. At first he focused on one of them until it was defeated and lost its form, but then the other monster caught him off guard, knocking him aside and almost sending Midna flying when one of them hit his side. Worse than that, he momentarily lost control of his bladder and let out a squirt from his sheath onto the floor as he got back to his feet, quickly clenching hard to stop any more from coming out.\n\nIn response, the room seemed to shake and the previously-defeated monster rose back up, glowing with a red light. Even faster and stronger now, it was all Link could do to get out of the way of its attacks as he leapt away to avoid being struck again. All the while Midna chewed him out, even while in the middle of summoning a black circle on the floor to stun them so he could hit them both. \"That slab was very clear! Any spilling of impure water would be punished! What part of that didn't you get?\" and other complaints were directed at him as he ran about despite the protests of his bladder, sneaking in what attacks he could get.\n\nDefeating the one that hadn't powered up allowed him to focus on the stronger one, and though he was almost hit by a strong geyser of water, Link managed to land the finishing blow; its red glow faded and the form of the monster was lost as it splashed to the floor once again. Hobbling over to the chest that appeared with his back legs awkwardly pressing together, Link shoulder-bashed open the chest and let Midna reach inside. Once she had grabbed the item, Link immediately began shifting back and forth on his rear legs in a little dance, pacing about in a tight circle as well to try and avoid spilling any more pee.\n\n\"Already?\" she asked, using her hair-hand to dangle an ornate gold key in front of Link's face. \"Well, I won't complain about getting out of this place quicker. And neither will you, I'm sure.\" She stashed the key away and then snapped the fingers on her glowing hair-hand. \"Now you, no more leaks! I can't believe that the guy chosen by the Master Sword doesn't know how to hold it in for a little bit! Get back to that center room, and make it snappy.\"\n\nSo, Link began the trek back, wincing periodically whenever he felt a pang in his belly from his over-full bladder demanding a release. It was slow going, as even with Midna constantly chastising him every time he stopped, gritting his teeth and shaking with one rear leg crossed over the other and his knees slightly bent. His need was getting progressively worse, particularly with the water features in every room only contributing to the problem, but he fought hard to contain himself – they were nearly at the end now.\n\nThe final door from the big central room led down a long corridor flanked with more of the big armored statues, and at the far end was a much bigger door than the others, a huge and ornate golden lock securing the handle beside it. Finally! Link burst into a run down the corridor, with Midna letting out a cry of surprise and grabbing his flanks as he dashed...\n\n...until he came to a sudden stop from another strong wave of desperation, almost flinging her off again.\n\n\"Oh, what now?\" she blurted out in annoyance as his legs trembled and his back half lowered down, shifting from one rear paw to the other and back again desperately. \"The way out is right there! Get moving!\"\n\nGritting his teeth and shutting his eyes tightly, Link fought against the spasms in his bladder, but it was a difficult battle. Just as he thought he was going to overcome it, a yelp escaped his muzzle and a brief yet powerful gush of urine sprayed from his sheath and onto the floor below him. Quickly, he clenched as hard as he could to stop any more from leaking out, crossing his legs to press his sheath between his thighs for good measure. With disaster seemingly averted, he opened his eyes, only to spot the ominous red glow behind the visors of every armored statue in the hall.\n\nThe sound of rumbling stone drowned out the background noise of splashing water as all of the statues slowly began to move, sending dust and bits of rock falling to the ground. \"You've really done it now!\" Midna shouted, pointing forward. \"Go! Just go!\"\n\nLink dashed forward again, weaving from side to side to dodge the enormous stone swords being swung at him. Every slam of stone on the floor sent chips of rock flying and shook the ground, and running at full speed made it impossible for him to avoid spilling more piss onto the floor in a few spots as he ran. Approaching the door, Midna held the key out in her hair-hand and jammed it into the lock the moment they were close enough, turning it to the side and sending the lock and its chains falling to the floor.\n\nThe ground shook as the nearest statue took a step towards them, and Link frantically bit down on the handle and yanked it downwards to open the door, leaping inside just in time to avoid the sword that smashed into the ground behind him. The room within was perfectly circular and entirely a half-inch deep in water, his paws splashing in it when he landed. The door slammed shut once they were clear, and Link panted for breath; the mad dash and all the exertion had taken the wind out of him, and drained his stamina for the moment.\n\nAnd so when his bladder suddenly contracted again, he could barely fight against it at all, and not even for long despite his frantic dancing on the spot. \"Not now, we're at the exit!\" Midna scolded him, but try as he might, the initial splash of piss that gushed from his sheath into the water below him picked up into a full-on stream. Link's ears flattened against his head and he whined as his desperation grew too great to contain, and his best efforts to try and stop the flow only briefly slowed it. Giving in, he hung his head as Midna berated him, his legs quivering as he continued to piss into the water below, a yellow cloud spreading outwards in all directions, a layer of bubbles forming on the top of the water.\n\nEventually, Midna just huffed and crossed her arms. \"Well, I hope you're happy,\" she grumbled. \"I can't believe you couldn't hold it just a little bit longer. You're supposed to be my knight and yet...\"\n\nShe trailed off, and the sudden absence of her voice got Link's attention, the only audible sound being the splashing of his piss into the water. \"You buffoon!\" Midna yelled, and he could see that the yellow cloud in the water wasn't flowing outwards; it was instead all moving towards the very center of the room, where a shadowy figure was rising from the water, glowing a bright red. Even though his stream was trickling off, Link tried to clench to stop it, only forcing out another final squirt. Yet the damage had already been done regardless, and the figure morphed into an even bigger version of one of the statues outside, with a gigantic sword that it was raising up.\n\n\"This is all your faaaaaaaaaault!\" Midna shouted, clinging to Link's fur as he ran at full speed away from where he had pissed himself, getting ready for what was sure to be a difficult fight...\n",
"writing_bbcode_parsed": "<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>The long silence of the underground fortress was broken by the screams of Midna and the canine yelping of Link as the two of them slid down the steep slope leading into it &ndash; one moment they had been inspecting a ruined building on the surface, and the next, the floor had dropped out and sent them falling into a long tunnel, too steep to get a foothold on. Partway down they had passed through some black cloud that had forced Link into his wolf form, leaving him scrabbling futilely with his paws as he tumbled down the slope.<br /><br />The bottom of it dumped them into a deep pool of water with a loud splash, and Link doggie-paddled to the opposite side before climbing out and shaking his body, spraying water in all directions, with Midna clinging to his tail to avoid being thrown off. &quot;Watch it!&quot; she shouted at him, and once he stopped moving she grumbled and began brushing off the algae that had stuck to her from their dip in the water.<br /><br />Fortunately it didn&#039;t seem like there were any immediate threats, though leaving the way they came was practically impossible. If not for their respective capabilities to see in the dark, it would have been impossible to make out anything, as no torches adorned the walls.<br /><br />&quot;Well, this is another mess you&#039;ve gotten us into,&quot; Midna chastised the wolf she was sitting on, folding her arms. &quot;Would it have killed you to hit that switch from further away?&quot; Link only responded with a low grumble. &quot;Whatever. I don&#039;t like being wet. Let me just turn you back for a moment and...&quot;<br /><br />She gestured with one hand, but nothing happened, and she frowned, her one visible eye narrowing. &quot; What?&quot; she wondered aloud, and looked around, paying a bit more attention to their surroundings. Black motes danced in the air, and she hummed in understanding. &quot;I see. The influence of the Twilight is strong here. I guess you&#039;ll just be stuck in that form for now. It beats being in that normal costume of yours. Have you ever washed that thing?&quot;<br /><br />Link turned his head to give her an incredulous look, then padded off down the stairs in front of them to get to the door on the opposite side. It was a heavy lacquered wood door with iron reinforcements, and despite being rusted it still seemed sturdy enough. By grabbing a lever next to the door with his teeth and yanking it downwards, Link was able to open the door, some ancient mechanism having survived long enough to still function, and they passed onwards.<br /><br />The next room was dominated by a towering black stone slab in the very center of it, with another door at the far end. Lining both sides of the room were enormous stone statues that looked like suits of armor, complete with swords they held in both hands, pointing straight up. Yet their armor had curious designs with lines running across the segments in a manner reminiscent of how Midna&#039;s headpiece looked. &quot;Hm? What&#039;s this?&quot; Midna asked aloud as they approached the slab, &quot;Hang on, there&#039;s writing on it. Let me off so I can read it.&quot;<br /><br />Link sat on his haunches to let the imp dismount, then got back onto all fours, his fur still damp. Midna looked up, her hair extending into a giant hand that pushed on the ground to lift her body up to read the higher parts of the text. &quot; This is in the language of the Twili!&quot; she declared, though Link was only paying partial attention as he padded off towards the nearest statue. It was rare for her not to be focused on him, and he needed a little privacy for a moment, even stuck as a wolf...<br /><br />&quot;It says... this fortress was built as a safe haven against those who sought to drive us away...&quot; she read, her visible eye scanning back and forth. &quot;...and... it remains hidden through the magic water within it... any who spill tainted waters upon these grounds will be punished. I see... so, what do you think-&quot;<br /><br />She turned to where she expected Link to be, only to see him standing next to one of the statues and starting to raise his back right leg. &quot; No! Bad dog!&quot; Midna snapped at him, using the giant hand made from her hair to launch herself over to him, landing squarely on his lower back. Link gave a gruff protest from the sudden weight, forced to lower his leg. &quot; Not here! Not unless you want to awaken every guardian in this place.&quot;<br /><br />Link growled a little, but she wasn&#039;t intimidated. &quot;Get us out of this place first. You can handle that, right?&quot;<br /><br />Relenting, Link began to trot towards the door at the far end. &quot; There must have been another way out,&quot; Midna mused as he reared up to grab the lever next to the door, &quot;Probably well-hidden and guarded, but I&#039;m sure you can handle it, right? The sooner you find it, the sooner you can leave and... do what you have to do.&quot;<br /><br />The next room was much larger, with multiple doors leading off in different directions, moss-adorned stairs leading to an upper level, and water features &ndash; several of them. The only thing keeping his mind off of it was the presence of shadowy foes in the room &ndash; not much of a threat, but more than the previously empty rooms they had been through.<br /><br />On they explored, with Link awkwardly grabbing the levers beside each door in his teeth to pull them open whenever they had to go through. It felt like every single room had some kind of fountain or other water feature in it somewhere, even the corridors that simply connected rooms together, and even the ones that didn&#039;t still had water running down the walls and dripping onto the floors to only make Link&#039;s need all the worse.<br /><br />One dead-end room locked them in with the lever refusing to budge, until he vanquished the shadowy foe within &ndash; that attacked by manipulating the water channels flowing through the room to shoot blasts of water at him, assaulting him not just physically but also with the repeated splashing of liquid that only made the pressure in his lower belly all that much harder to fight against. With enough lunges at the figure, slashing with his claws and biting at the almost-intangible enemy, it finally let out a long groan and then its figure lost all cohesion, turning to liquid and splashing to the ground, flowing away through the water channels.<br /><br />&quot;I guess it was too much to hope for this place wouldn&#039;t be heavily guarded anymore,&quot; Midna groused as Link lowered his muzzle and bashed his shoulder into the chest that had appeared, popping it open. The imp&#039;s hair extended into a hand and reached into the chest, pulling out a map a moment later, and she unrolled it to check it, crossing one leg over the other as she sat perched above his thighs.<br /><br />&quot;Let&#039;s see... that must be where we came in...&quot; she murmured, and with her distracted again, Link shifted ever so slightly closer to the chest. He slowly raised his rear right leg, hoping to use the now-empty chest as a means for relief, but let out a yelp when Midna&#039;s hair-hand shoved his leg back down to the floor. &quot;Stop that! We&#039;re making good progress. I can even see which room is the exit on this map. Stop acting like a little puppy and get moving!&quot;<br /><br />Grumbling but otherwise not resisting, Link turned back to the door, which was now willing to open up, following Midna&#039;s guidance as she used the map to direct him whenever she wasn&#039;t holding onto his tail to avoid falling off when he ran around or fought the lesser shadow monsters. A side room guarded by a cluster of the creatures yielded a small chest with a key in it, and back in the big central room Link got halfway up the stairs before letting out a yelp and stopping, his back half lowering down as his rear legs shook.<br /><br />&quot;What is it?&quot; Midna shouted in annoyance, flailing her arms to avoid falling off. Link gave a whine and glanced back at her, but she merely scowled at him. &quot;Oh come on, don&#039;t tell me the master swordsman doesn&#039;t know how to hold his bladder! Get a move on already and stop whining. The more you delay, the worse it&#039;ll get!&quot;<br /><br />Link winced and trembled for a moment, having to focus his efforts on avoiding a leak, but with some determined clenching of his muscles he rode out the wave of desperation and was able to hurry on up the stairs. Running wasn&#039;t making it any easier to hold it, but he needed to get out of here, and quickly. The key opened up a locked door on the second floor leading into another section of the underground fortress &ndash; and these rooms featured small holes near the tops of the rooms that water flowed in through, creating waterfalls that kept the channels around the edges of the rooms flowing. More than that, they also filled each room with the sound of crashing water, making Link whine and keep his tail down as he fought against the urge to pee on the floor. Crossing his legs as a wolf was difficult, but any time they stopped, he attempted to do so, placing one rear leg up against the other as firmly as he could until they had to move again.<br /><br />Wincing as he pulled on the lever for another door, Link slunk inside, looking back over his shoulder when the door slammed shut and the lock engaged, trapping him inside. This time there were not only one, but two of the shadowy water mages flying around the room shooting blasts of water at him. At first he focused on one of them until it was defeated and lost its form, but then the other monster caught him off guard, knocking him aside and almost sending Midna flying when one of them hit his side. Worse than that, he momentarily lost control of his bladder and let out a squirt from his sheath onto the floor as he got back to his feet, quickly clenching hard to stop any more from coming out.<br /><br />In response, the room seemed to shake and the previously-defeated monster rose back up, glowing with a red light. Even faster and stronger now, it was all Link could do to get out of the way of its attacks as he leapt away to avoid being struck again. All the while Midna chewed him out, even while in the middle of summoning a black circle on the floor to stun them so he could hit them both. &quot; That slab was very clear! Any spilling of impure water would be punished! What part of that didn&#039;t you get?&quot; and other complaints were directed at him as he ran about despite the protests of his bladder, sneaking in what attacks he could get.<br /><br />Defeating the one that hadn&#039;t powered up allowed him to focus on the stronger one, and though he was almost hit by a strong geyser of water, Link managed to land the finishing blow; its red glow faded and the form of the monster was lost as it splashed to the floor once again.
