Chaos looks around the forest path with a small hum, rubbing the back of his head as he walks. Walks through the forest like this were always nice, so calming and relaxing, he couldn’t help but let out a small, happy sigh. It was a nice day out too, cloudless sky with a nice cool breeze. It was perfect to be out for such a walk. It felt like it was his first day off in so long, so he didn’t want to waste it just sitting around in the house all day. Looking around the forest path he just takes in all of the nature around him. Humming slightly he continues to walk, though his eyes eventually start to move towards something he could see off in the distance. Tilting his head slightly he squints and leans in, trying to get a better look at what he saw. “What in the?” Chaos mutters to himself, noticing that it seemed to be a strange glint in the air, flecks of something that he could barely see. Curiosity starts to get the better of him, looking around he tries to see if this weird sight was anywhere else. Though whatever it was, it seemed to be coming only from that one specific area. Slowly starting to make his way towards it Chaos picks up on a sickeningly sweet scent that hangs heavy in the air, one that almost right away made his head spin. A soft, but nice haze slowly starts to spread over his mind as he takes it all in. A small groan leaves his mouth, slowly reaching a hand up to his head, giving it a small shake he quickly clears up his mind taking a deep breath through his mouth so he couldn’t breathe in that scent anymore. Moving closer, and closer to the source of that strange smell and the flecks in the air. Once he’s close enough he looks around, Now that he is closer, able to get a better look at them. Squinting he saw that they almost seemed to look like large dust particles floating around in the air. Though he just wasn’t sure what it was. He wasn’t sure what it was, but he felt like he needed to get a closer look. He had to know what it was, and to figure it out he needed to make his way deeper into the woods. Unknown to him whatever he was breathing in started to root itself deep into his body, sending small waves through his body, keeping his body relaxed. Telling him not to worry about anything, he just had to keep walking. After all, however, he would be able to find out what was behind there. No matter what he just had to know what it was. Stepping off the path and into the strange aired area he could already see a few small mushrooms sprouting along the path, not anything that looked too natural though. Everything looked more like those bright, colorful mushrooms you’d see in cartoons. Bright reds and whites, blues, and greens. All kinds of shrooms of all different colors lined the path. Chaos couldn’t help but think of a fey circle, jokingly wondering if he was wandering in some kind of weird mystical realm. He laughs a bit to himself, even as slight swirls seem to flicker in and out of his eyes all while continuing to walk. While continuing to explore the area he finds himself getting turned around, after walking for what had to only be five maybe ten minutes he comes to his senses and starts to look around. He swore he had only been walking in a straight line, but despite that he recognized absolutely nothing. Even looking behind him he didn’t see anything, or any way back. But once again, he didn’t feel worried about it. In fact he didn’t really care about being lost, he was smart enough to find his way back eventually even if he couldn't. This place seemed nice and peaceful. The woods even starting to open up a bit. Splitting into a wide open field in front of him. The mushrooms only growing in density. Now he could get a better look at just what was in the air, quickly realizing that what he was seeing in the air were spores, spores that of course he had been breathing in this entire time. Once again for just a moment he swore that he should feel worried about this. That maybe he should leave, but something deep down kept him there, up ahead he could see something else just a bit further. The sun was still high in the sky. He wasn't losing any time other than just standing there. Smiling slightly, and giving a shake of his head he pushes forwards and towards the end of the opening. Eventually after walking for just a few more minutes he stumbles across what he figured he was working on, the absolutely massive mushroom at the end of the path, it was a faded beige color and it was perfectly rounded, the cap of it looking incredibly soft, and almost.. Inviting. Without even thinking he starts to walk towards it, shivering softly as he slowly reaches a hand out, pressing it against the top of the cap. Feeling his hand shrink into it, followed by a small puff of spore washing out and over him. His eyes swirl once more as he was starting to feel rather tired, and sore. He just needed to sit down for just a moment. Stretching out he turns around and falls backwards onto the mushroom. The small puff of spore from before was quickly consumed by a giant cloud that engulfs him. The bounciness of the mushroom cap also made him gasp softly, taking in a massive lungful of the spore, breathing it in deeply, and letting it root itself deeper throughout his mind, and even his body. Sending nice tingles through his form. He isn’t sure how long he was resting there, but once he starts to feel his soreness slowly starting to fade a small groan leaves his mouth as he rolls over and climbs off of the mushroom cap, stretching out with a small groan. He didn't even notice that his body looked a bit larger, rounded. The spores floating around him now even starting to leak out of his ears. But looking up towards the sky he let out a small hum, it was starting to to get late by now and yet he was still filled with energy. Well at least that meant now he would be able to just walk home. That little nap seemed to really help his sense of directions too! Looking around he was easily able to discern a path back to the forest entrance. It almost felt like the spores were trying to guide him. Floating up from the various mushrooms as they link a path leading out of the woods, a soft but slightly dazed smile on his face as he follows the path. The constant smell of the spores hazing over his mind, not even leaving after he leaves the woods. As he steps out of the woods he looks around once more, turning back and looking over his shoulder curiously, the path leading out was totally gone and vanished into thin air. Scratching the back of his head he looks around before shrugging, heading inside as he thinks of what to do next. The rest of the night is spent in a dream like haze, going around the house and just doing whatever he could that would keep his attention, the energy in his body only growing as he finds himself sitting outside in the backyard under the moon. The soft light beaming down from it once again sending a few small pulses through his body. Just sitting out there, laying back as he stares up. The spores pouring from his body swirling around him until finally he slowly starts to drift off. Nostrils expand as he takes a few long, deep breaths. Breathing in that scent as his mind falls deeper, and deeper into that dream like haze. Until finally he slips off. In his last moments of consciousness he could feel his body shifting and wobbling ever so slightly. Swelling in some areas, but his head especially felt the strangest. Almost as if parts of it were growing heavier, and larger. As he comes to Chaos groans softly, reaching a hand up as he rubs at his eyes, wincing slightly with a small shiver. "E-eugh.. What a weird dream…" Chaos mutters to himself as he rolls out of bed, barely awake as he makes his way out of his room and down the hall, slipping into the bathroom to start his morning routine. He couldn't even quite remember what he was doing the other day. Everything just seemed like a weird haze at this point leaning over the sink he dips his hands into the water splashing it on his face as he takes a long, deep breath. Turning his attention up, and to the mirror in front of him. He struggled a bit, his head feeling oddly heavier than normal. But as he does, Chaos stares into the mirror and at his reflection for a good long while, just staring. "W-what the hell?!" He shouts, stepping back suddenly, shakily reaching both of his hands up before resting it on the large, and quite heavy mushroom cap resting on top of his head. Giving it a few horrified tugs, but it wouldn't budge. In fact, giving it a few more tugs showed that in fact it might have even merged with his head, it was a part of it.. A part from him! That mushroom cap was his head. He could feel panic steadily starting to build in his chest. Unsure of what this was, and not having any idea how to make sense of it. It didn't make any sense, it was impossible something like this was happening! He tried to make sense of it but he just couldn't. At least until he thought back a bit more about what happened yesterday. Perking up slightly he lowers his hands and makes his way downstairs. Looking outside his back door window and into the yard bordering the woods he stares at the circles of mushrooms that had grown overnight. Much like his own, they were cartoonishly colorful. He could remember just a bit more now, the mushroom path, leading somewhere.. Something happened that probably caused this.. But what was it? He just couldn't think straight, he thinks about going outside, to get into the woods and get to the source of this but as he reaches out to open the door something clicks in his mind. His body seizes up in surprise, going stiff before turning on his heel. His stomach rumbled loudly as he looks around, with a bit of confusion. "Hrmmm? What was I.. Doing again?" He pats his stomach softly figuring that he had come to get something to eat, after all that made the most sense. Why else would he be down here not like he had anywhere to go. Popping open the fridge he takes out a jug of water and some of the fruits in there. Without much thought he starts to pour the water lightly on the mushroom cap letting it absorb most of it, all while stuffing his face. He didn't even know what he was so worried about either, patting his rounded gut with a small chuckle, he smiles. There wasn't anything to worry about, he just needed to relax and let himself grow out. "Grow out?" He asks himself, cocking his head a bit with a frown, tilting his head a few times to figure out what that meant. His cap leaking spores all over in the process. Breathing it in deeply as he lets out a small groan, once more seeping into his mind. He stays inside for most of the day, keeping the windows shut and blinds closed. Making sure nothing could get in or out of the room. Making his way up into the attic his eyes swiftly move towards an old box. A humidifier he had gotten years ago as a gift but never touched or even bothered to open. But now he felt drawn to it. A part of him knew it was because of the strange mushroom growing out the top of his head. His ears twitch slightly as he hefty it up. Smiling as he starts to look the box over. Quickly bringing it downstairs and plugging it in. Cranking it up as high as he could before leaning back on his couch, practically sinking into it with a small groan of pleasure. His eyes go half lidded as the air around him grows more humid and wet. The cap on the top of his head pulsing and throbbing slightly, shuttering as it lets out another wave of spores that spread all over the house. Sinking into the cracks in the floor, and even into the couch he was sitting on. Slowly smaller colorful mushrooms start to sprout out all around him. The sight of it made him smile slightly, somehow being able to see in the near pitch darkness of his home. He felt comfortable in the dark, and with that he could feel when the sun was setting, he didn't know how much he just knew. His body moving on its own as he gets up off the couch, some of his fur falling away as he moves. Underneath was a smooth, bright blue mushroom. Much like the thing attached to his head. Not to mention as his body absorbed that humidity his body rounded out even further, his legs looking just a bit smaller under his body. He wasn't putting on weight, at least not in the traditional sense. It was like his body was reforming, changing into something new. Eventually reaching the door he pushes it open, some of the air brushing past him as he opens it into the cool night air. Stepping outside, he raises a hand to his head. Lightly rubbing the mushroom cap on the top of his head his eyes go half lidded, a dumb smile slowly spreading across his face. Marring softly before tilting his head back, looking up to the moon. As the moon beams fell down from the sky onto him he could feel a pleasurable feeling flowing over his body. A soft murmur of pleasure leaving his maw as he holds his hands out. He wasn't sure what it was, but the light of the moon and the wet, cold air flowing over his body was amazing. It felt like he could live solely off of the moon. Even as his body continues to swell and grow. Rounding out as he takes in all of it. The spores of all of the mushrooms swirl around him and in his head, dating his mind even further. He couldn't think clearly, he couldn't really control himself. His body moved on its own, laying back and pointing his head towards the sky. Letting it soak up the moonlight as it grows more and more, larger, and larger with each passing moment. Before while it was large enough to push against his ears, as it continued to grow it soon pushed his ears down. Eventually absorbing them into the cap, cutting out all sound for just a moment before it comes back just as quickly. Raising a hand he waves it around where his ears were with a small hum. "Huh? Weird…" He mutters to himself, feeling as if a constant shadow was being cast over him. He could see the brim of the cap hanging just out of vision, dipping in and out ever so slightly to show just how big it was. Despite its massive size he could carry it with ease. Sitting back up as he looks down towards his hands. Watching each digit slowly swell. Growing just a bit fatter as he gives his hands a few squeezes. The fur falling away with every little movement giving way to the same texture and soft spongy flesh of a mushroom. It felt so strange, a part of him knowing it was wrong, but as more and more of those spores drove deep into his mind. He could only think of how right and good it felt. These strange feelings of just sitting around, turning more and more onto a mushroom. And letting his spores spread as far as he could imagine. A slight groan leaves his mouth. Falling backwards once more. A cloud of mushroom musk puffing out of his body, making him chuckle once more. By the end of the night he was about half way turned into a mushroom. With his cap that was now more than twice the side of his head. Engulfing most of his body, it cast a constant shadow over him. Once he could see the hits of sunlight rising in the distance he picks himself back up and starts to make his way back inside. The dark felt good right about now, nice and shaded where he could soak up the humidity in the air. Licking his lips slightly he opens up the front door and makes his way back inside. Plopping back down on the couch, as he feels another wave of exhaustion washing over him. Shaking his head he tries his best to stay awake, but in doing so he spreads out another cloud of musky spores all around him. His much larger mushroom cap creates a cloud that covers the entire room. Allowing mushrooms to sprout out, creating a massive field all around Chaos. A slight smile spreads across his face as he breathes in more of it. Taking in a long deep breath, slowly drifting off into sleep. Coming to as the sun set his home had been turned into yet another mushroom field. Those bright round caps pulsing and dancing in the slight breeze. Chaos himself was absolutely drenched in water, reaching a hand up with a small huff he lightly rubs his forehead, sighing out softly as he squirms and settles in nicely. Though once he was nice and woken up he hums slightly to himself, turning his attention towards the front door. Picking himself up, stretching out with a low groan he starts to make his way to exit the house. He wasn't sure why, he just felt compelled to move. Walking out the door and through the garden of mushrooms outside of the door. He starts to look around, a slight hum leaving his mouth as he walks towards the forest once more. He already knew the path, even as his legs shrink further. Merging down with his body as he wobbles through the woods. Hoping along with his flat lower half. Every little movement only further showed how he wasn't a husky anymore. Almost fully a mushroom now he couldn't think clearly anymore. His mind had fully succumbed to the spores. He was still himself, but he was also acting on instincts. Making his way deeper through the paths of the woods. Each hop brought with it another puff of spores now coming from almost his entire body. A few patches of wet fur were the only areas where the spores seemed to not puff out from. It almost felt like as he looked all around him that the entire world was slowly starting to become a bit more cartoony, reality itself slowly being warped by the spores. Something he finds himself smiling a bit wider about. A small, pleased chuckle leaves his mouth all while continuing to look around. Moving along with a hum, Chaos soon veers off the path, a path that was now for the most part fully covered in mushrooms. But he still had a ways to go, was the mushroom grove further than before? Or was he just so excited to return that it felt that way. It felt like he had to return there. Like it was his home, had it always been his home? It was a bit hard to remember those kinds of things. All he could remember was the mushroom grove and doing something with.. Someone? Soon enough he steps out into the same opening under the night sky the mushrooms surrounding him almost seemed to glow. Reflecting the light off the caps in a variety of colors, opposite of him sat a familiar, massive mushroom cap. The thing pulsing softly as he stares at it. Chaos slowly moving forwards, walking closer to the cap he feels the rest of his fur falling away. His hands fatten up as they grow into fat, squishy sausages. Of course like the rest of his entire body it was made fully out mushroom. It only made sense after all that’s all he was after all. A huge happy cartoon mushroom. A small, happy giggle leaves his mouth as he gives the cap on top of his head a quick pat, feeling it squish and spring back under his hands. Sending another firm jolt of pleasure through his body. He laughs a bit more to himself, shivering slightly at the pleasing feeling. Though as he started to come down from his daze Chaos tilted his head a bit. He couldn't exactly remember what he was doing here, he just felt like he had to be there. Though as the new mushroom was thinking that the large cap at the other end of the clearing starts to rumble softly. The ground under his shaking lightly. Slowly an anthro mushroom, much like Chaos rises from the grow, shaking his head and spreading a nice bloom if spores all over as he groans happily, stretching out as he looks up curiously, sensing something in his domain. Eyes soon landing on Chaos he stares for a few moments, before smiling and going to step forwards. "Soo you're the new guy huh? I thought I felt someone laying on me a bit ago~" He laughs hopping over to Chaos, curiously looking him over. Giving him a few slight squeezes and gropes all over a wide grin on his face before smirking. "You know you're looking pretty good for a new shroom~ must have been really taking good care of yourself huh?" He questions, raising a brow with a grin. Though seeing a strange look in Chaos's eyes, one that he could see as confusion. Leaning forwards he raises. A brow. "Hmm ohh I see you haven't quite settled in yet huh?~ Let me help you there~" Leaning down slightly the mushroom reaches his hands up to the top of his cap and pushes down firmly. Suddenly as another puff of spores spout out of his head, engulfing Chaos's body in it. Which quickly absorbs it, making his body puff up every larger. Growing nice and round as he smiles wider, spiral swirling in his eyes as he wobbles back and forth. The mushroom man takes Chaos's hand and starts to swing him around, pulling him into a strange hoppy dance. Spinning around, as they take in the bright moonlight. Washing over their bodies as they chuckle with one another. Chaos looking up to the sky for just a moment the spirals fading as now all that's left is the mushroom, yet another magical shroom deep in the woods. As the sun would start to rise the two of them hop back towards their resting ground. Digging into the ground under the tree as they slowly drift off to sleep. Their bodies puff out small clouds of spores that spread out throughout the forest. They didn't know how long it would be but someone would come along. Either in the next few days, weeks, months. It didn't matter how long it took they would slowly start to spread out, making their mushroom family even larger~
