Chaos slips his hands into his pockets as he takes a look around the wide open area around him. The massive pumpkin patch that lay out in front of him as he dusts his hands off. Tossing the gloves off to the side with a small huff of annoyance. It had taken a good bit of work, and he was starting to feel pretty damn sore by now. Rubbing at his back he gets his things together and starts down the path out of the pumpkin patch. “Man they really just didn’t care to give up quality gloves huh..” He mutters quietly to himself, giving his hands a few shakes. Trying to clear away the soreness that dances across his palms. A few bruises and cuts lay across his palms. Nothing serious, but certainly a sign of rather cheap gloves. He had taken the job thinking nothing much of it but from the working conditions to the lack of help from anyone else he was starting to get rather frustrated with everything. He had no idea how anyone could continue to work into this. He brought up his issue with the others every now and then. But no one really took issue with it. Just telling him to do their jobs and keep up work. That wasn’t it either, then there was the boss. Or rather the lack of one. He had heard a lot about the guy, but he’d never seen the man himself. When he was hired on they told him the boss was someone who would only appear when someone truly screwed up. He was someone to be feared and not to be messed with. He wasn’t excitedly sure why. Sure he could fire them, but how could someone like that have any horrifying presence when they don’t know what they look like. In the back of his mind he can’t help but wonder if maybe he wasn’t as scary as people made him seem. If they just kept up this scare in order to keep workers in line. Though as he’s thinking over all of this he doesn’t quite see where he’s going. Just walking without much purpose. Hand on the bottom of his muzzle, a small hum leaving his mouth. Maybe it was something to look into, try and see who was really running this place. He had asked his supervisor, the one who actually hired him about it, but even then he just said the same thing as the rest of them. He had been so focused on his thoughts, thinking and talking to himself that he didn’t even notice that he had swerved slightly into the pumpkin patch once more. It isn’t until he feels his foot slam firmly into one of the pumpkins that he actually pauses, and looks down, eyes widening slightly as he pulls his boot out of the destroyed crop. His boot was dripping with the inside mush of the objects, almost seeming to cling to it as he tried to shake it off in a short moment of panic. Taking a quick look around he searches to try and see if anyone might have seen that. His heart started to race, before reaching a hand to his chest. Breathing out a short sigh of relief he calms his mind as starts to push on forwards. No one had seen it, he was totally fine. At least that’s what he thought, he looks back for just one moment, and as he turns around he finds himself walking face first into the chest of his supervisor, a buff, threatening horse who crosses his arms. Snorting out of his nose he sneers down at Chaos who sheepishly takes a step back. Offering a slight, nervous smile. “Eheh.. T-there you are.” He says hoping it would get him a pass. But the look on the horse’s face was more than apparent that he was not amused. “Go to the main building, up the stairs and to the room at the back. It’s time you meet the boss.” He remarks, sending a shiver down Chaos’s spine, sputtering out a few words or at least trying to he’s quickly shut up by the horse who walks past him. Giving him a light push forwards, forcing him to continue down the path. Toying with his hands a bit, he tries to think of a way out of this. But nothing came to mind. Eventually knowing he had no option in this. He likely wouldn’t get paid if he just left so instead he follows the instructions. Looking down towards the pumpkin inners that still stuck to his foot as he approaches the final door at the end of the hall. Reaching out and knocking on it Chaos takes a good step or two back, though no voice calls him in. Instead the door simply slowly creaks over. Taking another step inside he gulps once more. “Uh hello sir? I was told to come and see you?” He asks passing by what had to be a receptionist’s desk. One that was absolutely coated in dust. It was apparent that it had been used for quite some time. Though as he moves even deeper his gaze moves upwards towards the door as well. Cobwebs covered each and every inch of the entire thing; the knob itself seems to be covered in what appeared to be dried and long dead pumpkin seeds. The whole thing had a very unnerving and just wrong aura to it all. Crossing his arms slightly Chaos continues to approach the door. Looking up towards the door he goes to knock on it once more. But before he can do anything the door slowly swings open. Leading into a final room. One that appeared to be empty, aside from a small light on the desk in front of him. A light, coming from a small, glowing pumpkin, a jack-o-lantern to be precise. One that appeared and even felt to be grinning right at the poor husky. Taking a good look around the room, Chaos walks in deeper until he’s right in front of the desk. Rubbing the back of his head, confusion flickering across his face as he tried to understand what he was looking at. Was this all some joke or something, there wasn’t anyone in here. In fact from all the dust, it seemed like people have been here for possibly years. Though as he thought that his eyes connected right with the Jack-O-Lantern’s. If that was the case, how did this thing get in here? Shakily reaching a hand out he goes to lightly touch it, rubbing a hand over the sides he notices just how fresh it was. There was no doubt that someone had put this here recently, and looking into its mouth he did also notice the candle on the inside was barely used and it was instead a real candle. There was no way someone could have come in here with such a thing and left no trace of anything inside. Frowning he holds a paw up to his muzzle. Thinking on it for a few more moments eventually his gaze is brought back to the object in front of him. The Jack-O-Lantern for just a moment seemed to flicker, not as if the light was going out. But instead as if it suddenly swelled with light. Reaching a hand up to shield his eyes the husky winces slightly before turning his gaze back up to the area in front of him. The pumpkin now was glowing a dangerously bright green. Flames lick past the maw of the pumpkin’s mouth. All without burning or damaging the inside or outside of it. Somehow managing not to catch any of the surrounding cobwebs either. Chaos could only stumble back in shock and horror. Unsure of just what was happening. Though before he could say anything else there’s a small pause. The fires seemed to dim for just a moment, before suddenly shooting out, and wrapping around Chaos. Once more his hands shoot up to protect himself, though even as the flames begin to tighten and constrain him he doesn’t seem to be harmed by them. In fact the flames almost felt like solid objects. Holding on tight to him. Nothing about this made sense. Was this some kind of joke? A prank by his coworkers. This all felt so elaborate though, for an accident that happened mere moments before. Chaos can’t help but shut his eyes to all of this, the horror was nearly too much. While the fires didn’t burn, the heat was all still there. Making him sweat pretty heavily, though, even if it's all there. Within moments.. It’s gone again. Leaving only a sudden chill throughout his body. Shakily opening his eyes he looks around the room once more. Eyes wide, still trembling slightly as he stares all around him. “I-I… What just happened?” He muses aloud as he stares. Trying to put together what he just went through, not to mention how sudden it all was. But not being able to make much sense of it he eventually sighs, shaking his head as he gathers his things up again. Bowing his head down before turning and going to hurry out of the room. Not before turning to look where the pumpkin was one last time. It was the only place he hadn’t looked, his gaze forcibly avoiding the area around it. Though as he’s leaving his eyes are finally drawn back there one last time. Expecting to see the still flaming pumpkin instead finds… Absolutely nothing. That’s more than enough to make the Husky panic even more as he bolts out of the room, closing the office door and stepping into the reception area he notices the room appears to be filled with a few different decorations now. All halloween-like in nature, which were made, but they certainly weren’t there before. Shaking his head he steps back out of the room, closing the door behind him as he steps right into his supervisor’s chest once more. Stumbling back into the door as he grunts in surprise. “G-grff a-ah.. Sorry sir I didn’t see you there..” He replies, taking a slightly deep breath, glancing up towards the horse, noticing a slight smirk on his face. Shaking his head he knew he was waiting to get a reaction from him. So offering a small, but shaky smile he gives a nod back. “Well I take it everything with the boss went well? Is there anything you might want to talk about before you head home?” His supervisor asks. Once again making it seem like he was trying to get some information from Chaos. He thinks for a few moments. No doubt the horse knew what was inside, and of course was simply waiting to hear what the Husky had to say. So still holding that smile he gives his head a soft shake. “Ah no, nothing all too special to be honest.” He replies with a nod. “I uh.. I am very sorry for what happened earlier though. I was given a warning though.” He explains, though, while he expects the horse to try and call him out on it. He just gives one, short firm nod. Before pointing behind him. “Well enough then. Be on your way and don’t be late tomorrow. I expect you to be here at least an hour early. Am I understood?” He questions, the smile giving way to a deep frown as he crosses his arms once more. Unable to say anything else he just offers a nod and salute to the horse. Before scurrying off. Not even carrying if his nerves shone through. He just wanted to get out of that place by now. As he hurries past the horse and down the stairs he hears the door at the end of the hall open up once more for just a moment before closing. Chaos doesn’t even bother to look this time. Upon making his way back home Chaos slips off his boots. While taking off the one he had kicked the pumpkin with he couldn’t help but notice that the pumpkin innards that once covered the boot were gone now. In fact he couldn’t help but notice his foot was looking rather swollen now. His claws look a bit less sharp as well. Something about it felt rather strange and off. Aside from just being swollen there was something else. Taking a seat on the couch nearby he sets his feet on the table in front of him looking over the fur, which was looking a bit thinner around the edges of his claws. But aside from that he could see the flesh underneath looked almost orange in color. He shakes his head a bit, going to stand up and running a hand through his fur. “It’s probably nothing.. You’re just overthinking things.” He tells himself with a slightly nervous chuckle doing his best to try and keep himself calm. His mind goes back to the earlier interaction with the “boss”. Though he was just overthinking all of this, nothing was wrong. He just had to clean himself up a bit, maybe take a quick shower. Heading into the bathroom he rubs at his paws a few more times, feeling that the skin on his paws are a bit more rigid, bumpy, and rough. It was a strange feeling but he just shivers and pulls his hand back. While it was strange, something in the back of his head almost seemed to push him forwards. Telling him not to worry and just clean himself up. Water did sound really good right about now. Just soaking in it. Letting it soak up into him, allowing him to grow nice and big~ “Huh? Where the heck did that come from?” Though he couldn’t argue with it either. It did feel pretty nice right about now. A nice cool, maybe room temperature bath. Turning the water on he tosses the rest of his clothes off to the side, watching the tub fill up with water. Reaching a paw down into it he rubs a finger around in a circle with a small murr. The water felt rather amazing, the liquid swirls around his finger a few times. Upon pulling it back out he vaguely notices that it was looking rather bloated as well. But that was normal right? It just meant it was growing healthy. Even as small patches of fur over, revealing a thick, orange rind underneath. A small huff leaving his mouth before taking another short look around, he wasn’t sure why but he felt like he was being watched. For just a moment he swore he could see the flicker of green fiery eyes staring at him from somewhere in the room. Before suddenly perking up and shaking his head. He felt so silly that he was letting all of this get to him like this. It was so dumb, it was just a prank. A really over the top prank but still just a prank. Once the tub is full Chaos puts one foot in at first, just testing the waters. Though as soon as it touches the ground he lets out a small groan of surprise. Slowly sinking himself deep into the water. “O-oohh woww…” He mummers out softly, eyes fluttering slightly, tilting his head back as the water washes over more and more of his body. He doesn’t even feel the need to wash himself, he doesn't need to do too much else. As long as he just lets the water soak into his body it would be more than fine. He even tells himself this as he starts to slowly dip further under the water. The husky isn’t sure how long he’s been there for. Time just seemed to keep going, all he could focus on was just how nice the water felt. How calming the soft sounds of liquid being moved around, and the way his body felt the longer he bathed. He didn’t even notice a small bump forming on the top of his head, or the feeling of his gut starting to slowly swell. Growling softly as it began to push out slowly floating back to the surface. “H-hrrff man I haven’t had a bath this relaxing in years~” He muses to himself, not wanting to get out of the bath. But he did also promise to come in early tomorrow.. It would be pretty bad if he were to be late. Rolling out of the bath the Husky stretches a few more times. Tilting his head from side to side as he rests both of his paws on his now much larger, furless gut. Which now had been replaced by a nice, round pumpkin gourd. It’s only about now that Chao really started to put two and two together. Staring down at his gut, and towards his paws. Which had swollen up similarly. In fact his entire body looked and felt at least a few points fatter. Though also much more firm all the same. Giving it a few more shakes he starts to make his way to his room all the while exploring his body a bit more. Watching as the changes seem to spread just a bit further, as he feels his asscheeks swelling out a bit as well into two more well rounded pumpkins that he reaches back giving it a few pats, once again feeling that hefty, hollowness. “How the hell is this happening? W-what is this?” He questions as he goes to sit down, still squirming around as he tosses and turns. But as a sudden tiredness comes over him, he finds himself slowly drifting off to sleep. He knew there was something wrong, he could see it. But at the same time, he just felt so tired. He could figure it out before work tomorrow, it wouldn’t be that big of a deal. Shutting his eyes he drops off into slumber instantly. While asleep however the changes continue. His claws stretch out, drooping slightly as they lose their sharpness, softening and even brushing against the bed sheets as he tosses and turns around. Trying to get nice and comfortable as he groans softly. The changes seem to come to a stop as his fattened legs and paws turn fully into a nice pumpkiny state. The rest of the nice passes by peacefully. Though in his sleep Chaos doesn’t see the large Jack-O-Lantern set up in the corner of the room. One that flickers a bright, burning green before suddenly fading away. Leaving nothing behind as the rest of the night passes by without much issue. Waking up in the morning Chaos shoots up in bed, looking down towards his body once more. Not only seeing the changes have spread further but he was looking a good bit fatter as well. “So it really wasn’t a dream h-huh?” He questions, biting his lip as he starts to think over all of this a bit more. “How the hell did all of this happen? Was it from work?.. Wait.” His mind slowly mules over everything that had happened, his mind lingering once more on that horrifying memory of being lifted up and toyed with by the Jack-O-Lantern. “No, it can’t be.. Right?” He shakes his head, narrowing his gaze as he pushes himself up and out of bed, hurries out of the room, getting dressed before bolting out of the front door. His clothes barely fit him now, shirt buttons popping off with every step. Pants tearing at the legs while trying to pick up a bit more speed. Huffing and groaning with each step. The amount of weight he was suddenly carrying around made it harder to move properly. He tries to climb into his car though his massive pumpkin gut makes it nearly impossible. While he hurries down the street the bump on his head slowly pushes out into a pumpkin stump, a similar change slowly starting to spread across his cock as well, balls swelling up into two smaller pumpkins, while his cock curls up slightly. Forming into a familiar stump that permanently tends his pants. Eventually however he reaches the front of the patch. Standing right in the entrance was a very familiar looking Horse who simply seemed to stand there with a slight grin on his face. “Well, there’s the gourd of the hour~” He remarks, uncrossing his arms. “Come along then we have to get you ready for your shift~” His supervisor seems to say it as if it was something completely normal to say. Chaos’s mouth dropped in surprise at the lock of shock, but that simply confirmed his worries. They knew what was going on, and likely were all in on this. “W-wait you can’t just leave it at that, what the hell is happening to me. Why is this happening?” Chaos questions, catching up towards the Horse, nearly stumbling over his own feet, his root claws trying to dig into the ground, looking back with a grunt. But the horse manages to catch him. Tsking softly before shaking his head. “Careful now, we don't want to harm the goods.” He says giving his gut a soft, but firm pat. Letting the hollowness echo out~” Chaos tries to think of how to reply to this, but it just didn’t make any sense, he had no idea how to reply. Confusion flickering across his face as he goes to open his mouth. Though before he can even speak a word the horse grabs him by the shoulders to pull him over to an empty patch of dirt. It took a few moments but as he stares down towards said dirt he almost starts to realize there was something wrong with all of this. Actually there was something familiar about all of this. Shuttering softly as he realizes. This was exactly where he had kicked the pumpkin a day before. Slowly his roots start to dig into the ground. Body shooting down a few inches. Suddenly shrinking down as his legs buckle, causing him to fall back, landing on the ground with a grunt. Though he doesn’t feel much pain. His changing body seems to take most of the damage. He knew he should be panicking that he should try to escape. To run and just get away but at the same time. The dirt felt so nice.. So calming and relaxing he felt like he could just rest her. The changes start to accelerate, all remaining bits of fur being washed away, taken over by more of that heft pumpkin body. Part of his body separating, paws turning into two smaller pumpkins in front of him gut surging to massive sizes, creating a large pumpkin right in the middle of the patch. Arms and hands forming their own. All of them grow nice long vines that crawl across the ground. Rooting deep inside the dirt. In his confusion, and with the last of his waning strength he turns his rounding head upwards to look at the horse. “Feels good doesn’t it? I’m sure you won’t think of it as a punishment for too much longer~” He explains with a small chuckle reaching a hand out to rub the still vague husky shaped pumpkin. “Well I have to admit, you made quite a few pumpkins. You weren’t the best worker though you make a damn good set of crops~” He says with a laugh. Letting the head fur from Chaos’s head pumpkin slowly flow under him, digging into the ground and rooting him in place. Chaos could feel his mind slowly dimming, waves of pleasure slowly washing over him. If he could still make any noise he’d likely let out a moan. But as of now he was nothing more than just a group of pumpkins. Rooted deep into the ground until someone came along to pick them up and carve them up. Then they would be a wonderful Jack-O-Lantern. Just like their boss~
