They haven't yet gotten that treatment, alas - but I found it amusing to work in that style again for a while.\n\nThis is also my first serious attempt at drawing an ethnicity I can't see in the mirror. Only took me ten years to have any hope of it, but I got to the party late. For the record, the goal was African by way of Caribbean with family in New Orleans, with short dreadlocks and ~1.5cm earlobe plugs - representative of the sort of thing that [i]actually[/i] comprises the bulk of Bodyshoppe business. I imagine he has steady hands, a brilliant bedside manner - the kind that can make you completely fail to notice that DAMN that was a big needle - and probably left a job as a nurse's aid in a pediatric ward because he was sick of the high-stakes drama that crops up when mortally ill children are involved - perhaps because some other stressor in his life overwhelmed his ability to cope with work. Maybe he moved away to get married, and didn't want to spend his first wedded year working 12 hour shifts with 1 hour warning? Compared to the FNG detail at hospitals, I imagine the Bodyshoppe has got to provide an [i]amazingly[/i] steady and laid-back schedule.\n\nHis patient is there because of a combination of his own susceptibility to the fearboner effect, and the thought of this makes his girlfriend weak in the knees and spread in the legs.
