I didn't at first, until their unique vulnerability to snagging and injury, when their exposed position is combined with under-developed attachments to their claws. After a close call, I thought it was reasonable and prudent to have them declawed, and didn't pay them any further mind - until I had everything else declawed, and was amused by the irony. I had another close call recently, and I could have had it fixed, but... I didn't. I had them both [i]removed.[/i]\n\nAnd you know what? I kind of like it. I kind of like how it looks, and how it feels - or at least, how it will in both regards once the stitches come out and the scar fades a little. \n\nScore one more for the smooth-and-sleek argument, at least if you don't mind a couple more scars.\n\n\n\nBonus Fact:\n\nOnce a few communities started putting in useful infrastructure for dragons and their domesticated kin, people started implanting pet dogs with lapdragon implants to make them talk to this infrastructure.  And everyone wants a cryptographically secure authentication mechanism that's easier to revoke than biometrics.  Sale of lapdragon implants as a proxy for lapdragon population is no longer possible, but continues to be thumped on by bioconservatives who claim the population has spiked.",
