After all it sounded like it was a one of a kind of Pokémon never seen before, simply proving its existence would be a massive success to researchers everywhere.\n\n Of course finding the theorized mythical was easier said then done, and Chris would have to use his full tracking abilities to the best of his abilities. However since the creature he was hunting for was part ninetails he didn’t really have much choice except to track it and see. In due time the prints revealed where the creature had eaten, gotten water, and a various amount of other details. It was during this time that Chris started noticing the tracks got progressively more fresh, meaning he was on the right trail, and was thankfully not back tracking like he though he might have been at first. The equine took a brief break to quickly gulp down some granola mix, then sip on some water in between the scarfing of his mix. A few minutes of sitting on a nearby log as he did so, made him feel a lot better, and so he continued to track the suspected mythical unknown beast for a few more hours deeper into the woods.\n\n Then finally, in the distance he saw it sleeping upon a log, its slow steady breathing making it easy for Chris to see its chest rise, then fall with each inhale followed by an exhale. Chris had expected it to be more difficult to track, but finding the hybrid beast was only the first step. Chris needed to get close enough to actually attempt to catch it with a poke ball, which meant he couldn’t make any sudden moves. The equine did have one Pokémon, but he didn’t want to pull out his shiny raichu lass in case the beast started fleeing immediately versus attempting an actual battle. Carefully Chris crept closer, making sure to stay on the edge of the forest as he made his way around to the log where it was sleeping. He would make extra sure to avoid small twiggy patches just in case as he didn’t want any crunches or snaps to wake it up prematurely. Of course in that moment Chris realize he spoke a bit too soon to himself as he momentarily cursed when the ball shattered into several pieces stated the stupid thing was a defective dud and that cost him his chance at capturing an unknown species.\n\n Of course that meant the Pokémon he had tried capturing was immediately released upon the ball itself shattering into large fragments. Looking nearby to see what had happened, she then looked at Chris realizing exactly what had happened.
