Well the stars aligned and I instead found an awesome artist to make it in glorious animation! Here you see Alvin and Simon in their outfits doing a little cowboy play on stage.\n\n\nThis version is heavily photoshopped and entirely re-rendered by me because we didn't notice until it was too late a major proportional error which for your sake I will not be pointing out because it will ruin the original animation. I'd rather you ruin it for yourself when you eventually spot it. XD\n\nBut yeah, worked my photoshop magic and fixed it up, cleaned up a bunch of lines, minor improvements to some shapes, and blurred the lineart so it looks better up close, and I did a large overhaul to the color palette to be more like the source material, and finally ran the anim through DainApp to build new frames and smooth it out.
