A new day had begun for the little red wolf. The morning sunlight shone through the curtains, waking up the poor little wolf who was laying in bed. He groaned as he tousled to his other side, hoping to regain some more sleep. As if that would be possible, his phone rang. His ears shot back as he tugged at his covers.


"Really, when I finally have a day off?" The little wolf groaned as he sat up slowly.


He gripped at his phone and looked to see who was bothering him at that moment. Unfortunately enough, it was an unknown number. He sighed and didn't answer the phone, afterwards deleting it. Getting up listlessly, he wandered to his closet. He checked his phone one last time, but before setting it down, he saw a text message from his friend, Sonic.


He smiled slightly at the message and opened it, only for it to end after he read it. Unfortunately for the wolf, his blue friend had wanted him to go to a club nearby. He scratched the back of his head, deciding whether or not to go. He sighed, and sent a text message back.


Gadget: You really sure I should go?


He set his phone down to wait for a message, only for Sonic to send one almost immediately. The little wolf picked up his phone to read it.


Sonic: Oh of course! It'd be fun!


The little wolf growled at the thought of going to a club, he hadn't gone to one in a long ass time. Scratching his head, he was angry at the thought he could be doing anything else other than go to that club. 


While in thought, Sonic sent back another text.


Sonic: Well, come on and get some ass~


Gadget's face flushed, he was never the type to have sex with anyone. Let alone a club for Chao's sake! He hadn't had sex with anyone, even with partners in the past. He sighed, and thought it'd be fun to hang with Sonic instead.


Gadget: That's nice and all, but I'd only come to hang out…


Another 'ding!' made Gadget look at his phone again. It was Sonic, of course.


Sonic: Just don't hide in your corners! Let's have some fun!


Gadget chuckled as he sent his message.


Gadget: Can't promise anything ;)


With that, he sighed as he wondered what he just got himself into.

Later on that evening, he wandered through the crowd of people in the club. The little wolf tried to find Sonic, but no luck came to him. He sighed as he squirreled to his spot, a corner.  As he walked up to a booth in the corner, he noticed dark gray ears poking out, along with white silky hair. He was about to leave, but unfortunately, the mobian who was sitting there noticed the wolf.


His eyes were a heterochromia blue and yellow, a scar placed on the left side of his eye. A smirk was placed on his muzzle as he looked up and down the red wolf, sending a shiver down the little wolf's spine.


"Are you lost?" The mobian asked. Gadget tried his best not to seem flustered, but his heart was racing at this point.


"Ah, uh- no. I just moved through the crowd to sit in a corner. Heh,"


Smooth, Gadget thought. Real smooth.


The same dark gray mobian slightly moved, and patted his hand next to him on the seat.


"I can keep you some company if you'd like. I'm not doing much here anyways," the dark gray mobian chuckled.


Gadget was confused, why was he here if he wasn't doing anything? He didn't think much of it, but joked about it to him.


"Then why are you at a club anyway?" Gadget chuckled as he plopped next to the dark gray mobian. Gadget thought he looked cute, he never believed in 'love at first sight' but this may change his mind. As he was stuck in thought, the dark gray mobian spoke, leaving Gadget back to reality.


"For fun I suppose. Ah, I haven't politely introduced myself yet. My name is Zero," He led out a hand, presumably to shake. Gadget moved and took Zero's hand in his to shake.


"It's nice to meet you, Zero. Gadget is mine heh," Gadget smiled slightly at Zero. The gray jackal grinned at the wolf.


"Cute name, Gadget," he murmured a bit. Gadget heard it and his face flushed a bit.


"I- uh, thank you," Gadget smiled, not sure what to say to that.


"Do you do any mechanical work?" Zero asked. Gadget flinched a tiny bit at the question, he had never heard anyone ask that to him before.


"I guess it's due to my name? I do help with my friend, Tails, with some gadgets," Zero chuckled at the 'joke' the wolf made.


"I see,"


"What do you do for a living?" The little wolf placed his elbow on the table of the booth, leaning against the palm of his hand after the movement. He stared at the dark gray jackal, interested in learning more about him. Zero shifted a little, and he moved his leg over the other to get comfortable.


"Aye, I don't do much. I work for a big company however," Zero's ears went down a bit. "I'm pretty much a nobody." Gadget looked at Zero. The jackal's eyes glistened, looking rather sad. Gadget didn't think and spoke.


"You're cute," he mumbled. Zero looked at him confused. Gadget quickly sat up and his face flushed pink. Zero was quick to reply to reassure the wolf that he didn't say anything bad.


"Haha, it's alright. I'll take it as a compliment," he smiled. This made the flustered wolf calm down a bit, but it was soon interrupted once Zero moved a bit closer to the wolf. "Are you doing anything after the club?"


Gadget paused, stunned at the question that was plastered to him. He quickly tried to keep it together, but couldn't help but shiver a bit.


"Oh, uhm. No, I'm free afterwards, why so?" Gadget wanted to sigh in relief, but kept his posture standing.


"I was wondering if you'd like to hang at my place. It seems like you went here alone?" Zero's tail swiftly flicked up, ready to hear an answer. The little red wolf gaped a little, surprised at the sudden question. Zero got the hint and looked away, seeming embarrassed to be so quick. "Apologies." Gadget was quick to reassure him.


"No, no! It's quite alright actually. I'd actually like to hang out with you." Zero looked at him with a brow raised, surprised at hearing that the wolf wanted to go with him.


"Mind if we go now?" Zero sat up more, making his posture straightener.


"Of course not, let's go," Gadget shimmied out of the booth and Zero followed after. Letting Zero take the lead, Gadget followed him. Gadget hadn't realized how tall Zero was, probably due to him sitting on the booth.


Zero led Gadget out of the building, sending the little wolf to his car. The little wolf was nervous, he hadn't done anything like this before. At least he never went with a stranger before. He opened the passenger side and sat down, and Zero sat in the driver's seat. Putting on the seatbelts, Gadget's heart was racing. He found Zero quite cute, but didn't realize how quickly this was going. Zero looked over at the wolf after turning the car on.


"You… alright?" Zero was concerned for the wolf. Gadget gripped his hands in an intertwined manner, and he stopped his leg from bobbing up and down frantically.


"Y-Yeah, I just never realized how quick this was going.. not that it's a bad thing. I trust you," Gadget thought about what he said, and he kind of regretted most of it. Zero grinned at the wolf, and moved his hand to place it on his shoulder. Gadget's tail flicked at the sudden touch.


"I understand, are you sure you want to come with me?" Zero asked, a little guilty in the sound of his tone. Gadget shook his head, moving Zero's hand to grip and hold it.


"Yes, let's go."

A little ways into driving, Gadget stared out the window. He wondered what he had put himself into was either fate or his death. He thought for a moment, then found a question suitable for answers.


"What will we do at your place?" Gadget continued to stare out the window, seeing Zero in the reflection. Zero cleared his throat, then spoke.


"Anything honestly. Like hang out. Whatever you'd like to do," Zero kept his eyes on the road, turning after the light turned green. Gadget clutched his hands into nervous fists. Thankfully enough for Zero, he pulled up into an apartment parking lot. He saw that Gadget was getting nervous and he wanted to do something to help calm him down. As soon as he parked the car he moved to place his hand on his shoulder. "What's wrong, Gadget?" Zero was concerned for him. Gadget squirmed a little and sighed.


"I-I'm really nervous, sorry." Zero just smiled after hearing that.


"There's no need to be sorry, I'm here. Will you let me touch you?" Zero asked, waiting for consent. The little wolf nodded his head, giving Zero access to touch him.


Zero placed his hand softly on Gadget's head and slowly petted his head. The little wolf's ears went back, but he almost immediately purred and moved closer to Zero. The jackal chuckled and scratched softly at the little wolf's head. Gadget's tail was wagging fast, letting Zero know that he was definitely enjoying it.


"You're so cute like this," Zero teased. The little wolf blushed, he started to hum. After a bit, Gadget backed away.


"We should head up to your place now hm?" Gadget smiled. Zero nodded his head, then smiled back at the wolf.


"Of course."


They both got out of the car and closed the doors, letting Zero lock the car doors afterwards. Gadget looked at the apartment complex, it looked stunning. Zero smiled and grabbed Gadget's hand in his. He intertwined his fingers with Gadget's.


"Let's be on our way?" Zero asked instead of it being a statement. Gadget nodded.


Zero led him up to his apartment and unlocked the door. They both walked in and Gadget took in the beautiful room that was the living room. Zero closed the front door and locked it.


"This is beautiful," Gadget stared in awe. Zero walked to the couch and sat down, patting the space next to his just like he did at the club. The little wolf walked over and sat next to him.


"I'm glad you like it," he smiled. Gadget's tail wagged. "What would you like to do?"


Gadget thought about it for a second, he hadn't known him for long, but something made his mind go wild. He shook his head a bit, making sure not to think of those wild thoughts. He thought he was cute, but something made him not want to go through with it. Zero raised a brow, confused.


Gadget hesitantly moved closer to Zero, leaning his head against his shoulder. Zero's ears went down a bit, he wrapped an arm around the wolf's shoulders. Gadget moved his head to look at Zero.


"Is there anything you're expecting for tonight…?" Gadget asked hesitantly, As if there would be anything to expect, He thought.


Zero let out a breath to somewhat simulate a laugh, amused at the question. He scratched the wolf's ear.


"I'm not expecting anything unless if you are, then I'd want to exceed those expectations." The grin then turned to a devilish smirk, sending a shiver down the wolf's spine.


Oh please, the little wolf thought. Gadget scooter closer to Zero.


"What do you think my expectations are?" Gadget smirked back at Zero, making the gray jackal think for a moment.


"Fun perhaps~?"


The little wolf let out a surprised huff. Zero leaned down, getting closer to him. This made Gadget lean back slightly, but this only made Zero continue to lean closer.


"W-What are you.." the little wolf was interrupted as he fell to his own demise on the couch, having Zero crawl on top. Gadget's ears immediately went down, his face turning red as his own fur color. He placed a palm on the jackal's chest and quickly tried to stop it, even though something told him he didn't want it to end. "W-Wait, we just met."


"It wouldn't hurt to have some fun, now would it?" Zero leaned on his arm and scratched the wolf's head. Gadget's heart was racing, beating right out of his chest. He tried his best not to have his breath shaking.


"I-I guess you're right, but how would we do this? A one-night-stand?" Gadget moved his hand back on the couch. Zero leaned and kissed his cheek.


"Whatever you'd want to do, little wolf~." Gadget blushed at what Zero just called him.


"I guess we could try it out and see where it goes…" the little wolf mumbled. Zero's smirked turned even more devilish.


"Before we get started," Zero moved off of the little wolf, scooping him up and then placing him on his lap, "What would you say how you'd like this done~?" Zero then ran a hand up the wolf's back. Gadget tried his best to not make any noises or squirm.


"I'm not s-sure. I've never done anything like this," Gadget blushed.

He smiled and closed his eyes, resting with the little wolf.
