a random idea I had rolling around... what if Godzilla was some kind of mutant sea bird? He walks like a penguin, stands like a penguin, vomits at his enemies like baby birds, his scales look like undeveloped feathers, and dinosaurs are birds too. So... IDK.\n\n------------------------------------------\n\nA unknown species of toothed aquatic birds still living on a island somewhere in the Pacific was effected by atomic weapons in WWII. The radiation killed off many animals, and most of these relic birds from the Cretaceous period. But some were mutated by radiation, and one in particular grew in gigantic proportions.\n\nGodzilla is covered in spikes, quills and hard feathers. The feathers are stunted in growth like a hatchling's hard spiky feathers, and come out looking like thick spikes all over the body. The back feathers are the biggest and hollow. The mutation doesn't allow the feathers to grow anymore or become soft.\n\nThe Godzilla is a female with high testosterone and has mutated to be like the whiptail lizards - a all female species who breed through parthenogenesis.\n\nSome scientists think Godzilla started out as a still-living species Pelagornis, others think it began as a toothed bird built like a penguin, and others believe it was a pet huitzil - but many disagree. \n\nThe hands of birds are fused together into a \"mitt\" and lost the claws, but the mutation has caused the hands to reform back into 3 fingers with claws.\n\nGodzilla's short bird tail mutated into a muscular and monkey-like tail. It doesn't stop growing, but the bones stop halfway along the tail. The rest of the other half is pure gristle, fat and feather quills.\n\nGodzilla has a baleen made of feather whiskers. She filter feeds krill and other foods.\n\nGodzilla's massive size and hip structure shows a female. But the long tail feathers (which are now just fused feather quills(, huge white back feathers (now just giant hollow quills), and the loud territorial calls make scientists think Godzilla could be male. All agree that Godzilla seems to be a naturally-transitioned animal - like some species of fish. Godzilla is a female, but produces male hormones and has male traits. This body shift is believed to be due to the mutations.\n\nWhen upset, Godzilla can vomit up streams of explosive and corrosive fluids. Using vomit as a weapon is used by many baby sea birds, who may sometimes trill their back feathers and aim before vomiting streams of stinky, stinging, oily, and sticky vomit that can sometimes kill predators. Scientists think Godzilla began life a mutant chick, who only half grew up in some ways (chick feathers, chick defense like vomiting, chick habits of walking and swimming or hiding), but grew up in other ways (sexual adult, territorial, adult limbs, etc.)\n\nGodzilla shows extreme intelligence, equal to a macaw or cockatoo. Scientists are baffled whether whatever Godzilla's original species was, was that smart, or if the mutation increased intelligence.\n\nGodzilla's stance and walking is like a penguin, and so is her/his swimming. Godzilla is thought by some to have been one of the last Great Auks, or giant ice age penguins. But DNA is too mutated to know for sure.\n\nLike many sea birds, Godzilla regularly migrates. Some sea birds live on sea food for months until they migrate and change their diets and life style. Godzilla spends much of it's time deep underwater feeding and living like a baby chick. Then, when the temperature or magnetic fields is right, it rises to the ocean surface and finds pieces of land to live like a penguin on land. Before Monster Island was found, Godzilla's migration patterns brought it to Tokyo almost every so many years.\n\nWhatever species Godzilla is, it must have been a very territorial one. Godzilla's \"male side\" is extremely territorial, making loud calls and attacking any creature it feels is a threat.\n\nAs a very intelligent creature, Godzilla's attacks seem to be...\"fun\" for it. Like how some roosters or turkey males will seek out enemies just for the fun of blowing off steam.\n\nGodzilla's terirtorial attitude has run it afoul of a number of other mutated or strange creatures that have shown up. Experimental bombings, and the remnants of the WWII atomic bomb mutated Godzilla slowly until it's appearance years later. Around the same time, other mutated creatures showed up too. Anguirus the mutated pangolin is a example. Another is Kong, a hyper evolved gibbon from Skull Island who seems to have been born with genetic mutations, making him much much more aggressive and tougher than his fellow kongs.","description_bbcode_parsed":"<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>Just a random idea I had rolling around... what if Godzilla was some kind of mutant sea bird?
