I swear, I heard that squishing sound all the way across the field!\"\n\nThe goat on the other end of the phone laughed. \"Oh my gawwwd, I know! I never actually ruptured someone on the field like that! It was like kickin' a rotten melon, my hoof just went all the way into his nutsack!\"\n\nThey both laughed.\n\n\"Well, he wasn't payin' attention, kept rubbin' himself. I swear, buffaloes are all gay. He probably got off on it!\"\n\n\"uggh, gross! I got gay nuts all over my leg!\"\n\n\"Better hope it's not contagious,\" Dwayne said, before saying his goodbye and hanging up. \n\nShower time. It had been a rough game, for sure, with a bunch of guys from both teams callin' in sick. The buff who had had his cojones popped had looked pale, even before then, rubbing his crotch like he had been. Rugby was no sport for the weak or sickly, though!\n\nThe water was nice, and hot. Dwayne didn't even bother to soap, at first, just standing in it and letting it wash the grime out of his fur. Ooooh, that felt good. It had been a long week, hell, month, and the stag needed to unwind. Maybe he'd call Cindy after his shower, see if she felt like coming over and letting him pull her sleigh for a bit. \n\nHis nuts churned, throbbing at the thought of it. He grinned. Seeing how easily the buff had been neutered was a good reminder to take care of your boys, after all, accidents can happen. He soaped up, humming to himself as he washed the dirty suds away, and then hopped out of the shower stall, onto the rough textured bathroom floor.\n\nThrob. His nuts panged him, still churning, though it wasn't as pleasant now. He felt almost like he had sat on them, the way they kind of ached. He reached down, cupping under his boys, feeling their heat against his paw.\n\nThe shower had loosened, relaxed them, but they felt hot, like he had had them in a compress of something. Just the act of touching them made them ache more, sort of a backed up, tight sensation coming from deep inside them. It felt like a nasty case of blue balls, but he hadn't had blue balls in years, not since his first rut. \n\nHe let them hang again, and wrapped a towel around his waist, heading into his bedroom. He could feel his nuts banging from one thigh to the next, each nudging making them ache all the more.\n\nThe radio had been playing some 70s rock when he had gone into the shower, but now an urgent female voice was talking.\n\n\"Repeat, this is an urgent news bulletin from the National Universal Telegraph System. Attention all listeners! A new virus has been found. Ungulates with the following symptoms must seek medical help Immediately!\"\n\nDwayne's ears twitched at the mention of ungulates. He was healthy as a clam, of course, nothing to be worried about, but-\n\n\"A sudden onset of testicular pain, followed by swelling. Failure to seek medical help result in intense pain and-\" the announcer paused for a second. \"Wait, is this real? Really? Okay... 'Intense pain and eventual explosion.\" \n\nDwayne stood stock still, eyes widening. Testicular pain and swelling?\n\n\"Repeat, testicular explosion will occur if you do not seek medical help immediately! The virus triggurs overwhelming Rut-like symptoms. There are qualified medical staff waiting for you at the Pratt Street Hospital, the North Street Grange, and at the Howard Taft and Chernobyl High Schools. Uhh.. parents, your kids are going to be coming home from school early today.\"\n\nDwayne had already lost track of the announcer's warbling, feeling his balls itching, churning once more. The ache was still there, stronger than before. Carefully, slowly, he unfolded the towel from around his waist.\n\nHis balls were dangling, filling the space between his thighs, space that they had just been swaying back and forth in.
