They almost all are banded/crimped/tied off at he root, and with him licking his life, it can be assumed that those tools were used. That said, though, there is no reason to think that someone else didn’t collect one or two of them, for him - or that he didn’t use other methods in some of the cases to aquire them. If, somehow, the contents of the pouches were lost, he would certainly have them ‘replaced’ with something nice and realistic, to keep their feel! Does he do anything to preserve them?
