Even if he wasn't fully aware of the drama behind the scenes, Sampson could easily pick up a very sour look on Rosalyn's face.  To him, it felt like Rosalyn was trying to hide some of her thoughts from him; wasn't that weekend trip to try and mend a few fences, then why was Rosalyn acting so strange around him? She was seeing her dad in Kyle's eyes, wondering if that was why she was being so forward.  Jessie blinked a bit to see if her eyes were playing tricks, now she only saw Kyle as she kept gazing.  Maybe he just had enough of their dad she felt so warm and comfortable...but deep down, Jessie really wanted Kyle.  She wasn't wanting to do what she was doing with her dad, it was Kyle she wanted to play with so much. Thankfully a little fast food came to the rescue, but now, their parents didn't leave any money for food so if Jessie had to mess up their dinner or breakfast, they would have to improvise or go hungry. It was about the fourth trip I took when Melanie, very frightened and scared told me that my wife was beating up Charlie.  Being about two and a half she was tough to understand but she was scared and fearing for Charlie's life. As the waitress came over and took their orders, Erica ordered salmon and Kendrick ordered some sukiyaki steak and shrimp. The two shared some random facts about each other as the chef prepared their meal, teasing and laughing together as they conversed at the table. She smiled as she drove him to the park in the middle of the town, wanting to show Kendrick her favorite place to be.  She sincerely hoped it'd give Kendrick some peace of mind and to let go of his homesick feelings.  Even then, he was already letting go of that fear - Erica was a very calming presence for him. I wonder if that photo is hidden inside mom's private drawer - saw her hide the key under the lamp here.  Let me look.\"  Jessie blushed as Kyle found the key right where it was, then went to unlock it, quickly finding the photo and brought it over to Jessie.
